“Love to stay there again” Our host, Michelle, was super sweet. The area was safe, this is in the Hotel Zone, and well lit. The condo is in a hotel. Part of the building is set up as a full functioning hotel and the rest seems to be residential apartments. It added to a clam and quiet stay. Michelle's add was accurate. She mentions that the WiFi is not that great and this is accurate. The condo had everything we needed to cook. We went to the market for supplies and saved a lot of money. Peter, Michelle's husband, provided us with a map of our area, places to shop, eat and party. They provided bath towels and beach towels. We had fresh clean water, which we got from the Hotel shop for 48 pesos. It lasted us all 9 days. The pool area is there, but we only stayed on the beach. The Hotel staff will not be helpful and we always went to Michelle and Peter for any questions we had. They are your front desk. The air conditioning in this unit was great. Our view was amazing. I could not believe our view. We picked up a rental car to drive around and parking at the hotel was a breeze. We were told the restaurant of the Hotel and the pool bar were horrible so we stayed away. But the hotel shop was great. In the shop they had chips, cookies, souvenirs and cold drinks. The bus (R-1 and R-2) was easy to find and easy to figure out. The room was clean. The balcony was large and a nice way to enjoy the view in the evening and in the morning when the sun is rising. “Paradise” We came to Cozumel for the Ironman Competition so we stayed the first 4 days in the city close to the race happenings. It was a busy 4 days. Then off to the peace and quiet of Residencia Reef. We walked in the door of Casita Del Mar and immediately felt relaxed, dropped our bags, cracked open a bottle of wine and watched the sun set right from our beachside patio. The room décor was calming and professional. They have thought of everything, abundant bath and beach towels, beach floaties, phone, internet, tv, there were even a few staple foods in the frig/cupboard to make cooking breakfasts easy. The kitchen is a small galley kitchen with a 2 top portable burner, micro, toaster oven, toaster, blender, quality, dishes, pans and utensils. We made breakfast and lunch/happy hour daily and went out for dinner. We found no restaurants within walking distance from the condo except the all-inclusive resorts which offer day passes. We took a taxi to town nightly (150 peso each way) Great food at Kendesa, La Hach, Gusto, The Money Bar. Best Dive shop is Deep Exposure, Rodger gave us personal attention in a small group and a nice boat. Saw everything, sea turtles, eagle rays, eels, lobsters, crabs, and more varieties of fishes and corals then I could count. We snorkeled right outside the condo for hours and saw so much, the highlights were the flounder, and rays. Another guest said she saw a seahorse! The staff at Residencia Reef were very accommodating and friendly. We booked our condos, car rental and photo tour with Pawel and Margaret. They were very helpful!

“Purrrfect Get-Away for our anniversaries!” We loved everything about Casa Bendicion! The proximity to the beach (down the stairs and there it is!), the ease and quick communication with the owners, and location on the island is perfect. With the golf cart rental (Thanks Jose!) we were able to make it in to town for shopping and sunning on North Beach and dining in 15 minutes while being able to return to a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere to unwind and sleep after our excursions. Highly recommend Casa Bendicion to anyone looking for a purrrfect get away to Isla Mujeres!!

“Best Family Vacation Ever” Playa Del Carmen is a fantastic town, so much to do and so many great restaurants. We chose this as an alternative to an all inclusive vacation because it would allow us to enjoy the town more than just sitting on a resort beach for a week and was very economical. The management company arranged for a van from the airport and has a concierge service to book day trips if you want. They were very helpful but not too pushy. My family includes 3 children, my wife and myself. We arrived late at night and got the combination for the key from the lockbox outside the door. The unit was very spacious, clean and well equipped for a family to stay. Towels, sheets, full kitchen with amenities, washer/dryer, cable, wifi were all included. Air conditioning was excellent and we had our own penthouse with individual access to the rooftop pool, which was never crowded. The penthouse had a hot tub and outdoor shower and rest room. We ate out most of the time but one night got some steaks and grilled them on the patio. There is a walmart and a mega which have everything you could want for food and drinks. You can just walk out to the beach and waste away the day or go to one of the beach clubs if you want someone to serve you food and drinks. If you shop around you can get a massage for about $25 on the beach, too. The nights were very peaceful as the condo is located on the north end of town, where there is less noise and crowds. We walked to town every night for dinner but you could take a cab for 25 pesos (about 2 usd) to almost any part of town if you wanted. We went to the beach club right next door and loved the food, drinks were a little pricey but tasty. In summary, everyone had an extremely enjoyable time and we will be booking this condo again next year for more of the same.

“Exceeded our Expectations” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Julie (8210). This condo was beautifully decorated, quiet, clean and well-managed. Having the washer and dryer available in the condo was very convenient and will make for lighter packing when we return. My husband and I got scuba certified during this visit to Cozumel and the pier which is just a short walk to the beach away was great as the scuba company would pick and drop us off right there saving taxi fair into town. The furnishings, including the king-size bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary for preparing meals. Security as you enter the complex are very professional and friendly. Both the living area and bedroom have a/C but we never used it... we enjoyed the cross breeze from the sliding glass door and bedroom window being left open.

“This place has it all!” This condo had everything we wanted while vacationing in Mexico. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas were updated and beautiful. We loved that the pool and beach were only a few steps from the patio, and that there is a beautiful coral reef just moments from the shore. We snorkeled everyday. You can swim with dolphins, eat at great restaurants, and shop in the cute little stores in the marina at Puerto Aventuras, which is only a 5 minute walk from the condo. If you are looking for the perfect vacation home, this is it! We will be back!

“Excellent Condo!” The place is wonderful, if you are looking for a place in playa del carmen, this is the place. Everything is just around the corner ... few steps from the beach, 5th street, 10 minutes from cozumel ferry, parking lots (if you are driving), etc etc .... The apartment is spacious, clean, beds very comfortable, very nice kitchen, etc ... the wifi is good. it is an excellent place to stay. Me and my family had a wonderful time. Thank you!

“Perfect Home Base” My friend and I stayed at this townhouse in mid-March 2013. Aside from a minor hiccup upon arriving, everything was wonderful. It is located in a private area off the main road so there is no traffic noise. Yet it is in a perfect location to explore all the local sights. The beach is more like a 15-20 min drive away and really not practical to get to on a bicycle. There are a number of fine white sand beaches to visit, though our favorite was Ziggy Beach. You are near the Mayan ruins in Tulum, Muyil, and Coba. The Sian Kan Biosphere reserve is also nearby. The town of Tulum is a sleepy Mexican town by comparison to Cancun or Playa, which still has numerous fine restaurants for dining. The townhouse itself is well appointed (except no TV) and well maintained. We took advantage of the patio for dining all the time. It is a very comfortable house for four people and a bit more of a squeeze for six (having to use the futons in the living room for beds at night. The townhouse is inside a small gated community with a private pool and you will feel very safe. If you are looking for something a bit different and not wanting to stay at a big resort, this would be a fine alternative. You will definitely need a car.

“Awesome Rooftop Condo in Perfect Playa location!” I had rented a condo one other time in Playa and I have to say the one thing that made this rental better was the personal response of the owner himself. Not only was the condo a great place but the owner made sure that the rental process was just as great. Ron was extremely helpful and supplied us with everything we needed to have the very best vacation experience. I would definitely rent Casa Dorothea again! The location of the condo is in the heart of Playa. Within walking distance to so many places including the Mega grocery store and Walmart. We had a private rooftop which is another huge asset. An awesome experience all around!

“Great location for awesome beach vacation!” We were so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of staff at Sunset Fishermen's and especially a huge thank you to Sergio. He was wonderful! The facilities were obviously cared for with pride - everything was clean and properly looked after. Having the pool, lounge, chairs, restaurant and beach all in such close proximity was truly delightful. Leisurely strolls to 5th Ave were possible every evening. Would definitely return to this lovely place next time we are in the area.

“Beautiful beach, spacious and spotless accommodations!” We stayed here as a group of 7 for 3 nights. Our driver was waiting for us at the dock and when we arrived, Judy checked us in right away. Each bedroom was spacious and well-maintained - we definitely had enough space to spread out and relax! All units in the resort faced the beach - loved being steps away from the water! Huge balcony with 2 hammocks. Kitchen was well-stocked and the convenience store was right around the corner. The only downside for us was that it was 2.5 miles from the town (too far to walk, $10USD taxi ride each way). Although it was far from town, we did love the secluded and clean beach we had all to ourselves. Overall we had a great time and all loved our stay here. Would highly recommend to families and groups travelling together.
