“Lovely base for a walking holiday” Anglesey, your coastal footpath with its never ending skies, sandy beaches, rocky coves, forests & moorlands is stunning & Benllech, your cheesecake shop is delicious. Penelope was a perfect base for exploring & is close to the shops & the beach. The little bungalow is very well equipped & nicely furnished & is like home from home. Hopefully we'll go back very soon.

“Cozy cottage in Manod” We stayed in Manod for 2 weeks and had a lovely time. The cottage is very cozy with a lovely back garden and scenic mountainsviews and green pastures with lots of sheeps. The cottage is situated close to Snowdonia Nationalpark and there are lots of hikingtrails just outside the cottage. The owner and caretaker are very nice and helpful. We can recomend the cottage for your next holiday if you want to experience the best of Wales.

“Perfect location for N Wales family holiday” There were 10 of us staying at Llanrug; 6 adults, 1 teenager and 3 children and it was perfect with 5 bedrooms - all en-suite. Really nice location close to Llanberis and very quiet. Secure garden so the children could play outside. WiFi so the teenager was happy! Overall excellent accomodation

“Peace, quiet and seclusion guaranteed” A lovely cottage in a beautiful spot, with very friendly and helpful owners. It is just a shame it is over half a mile up a steep and very winding single track road, which was blocked one day by sheep, and the next day by a lorry collecting logs which held us back from our day out by half an hour each time. If it were more accessible, or we were more used to reversing down hills and around bends, we would definitely return.

“try to throw a pot” found the property very good for a large party very good value for money.the hosts were very welcoming and dealt with any problems quickly.we were very impressed with the pottery,and can't thank Barbara enough for allowing full access after hours,so we could try and make things for presents etc.there were always plenty of excursions during the day to more than fill the time. all in all a very good property to rent,and would certainly recommend a visit if in north Wales.

“fabulous secluded retreat, yet close to all amenities” t his is a fabulous cottage, the owners are great, ideal for dogs and children, lovely views, quiet yet very close to Benloch bay and Moelfre Beach, plenty of pubs a few minutes away. Cottage has many books, games etc; the cottage is spacious, very clean and well equipped, would definitely come here again, we had three adults, twins aged seven and one dog, the patio was dog proof, even though rabbits were all around!

“Nice” This cottage was very nice and clean . perfect location for what we wanted. The patio was not very big but we made do. The rangers track up Snowdon is only 5 minutes away by car witch you can park directly over the road, and have a nice walk up Snowdon. when back at the cottage, it's only 2 minutes walk into the village for a well deserved pint. We will return one day.

“a beautifully contemporary cottage” this was my first time in wales & the cottage was all that we wanted and more. it is such a beautifully decorated cottage with a real contemporary feel. the location is brilliant - lovely & peaceful with great views. we have stayed in many cottages with our little dog & i would say this is one of the best.

“We loved it!!!” What great memories with have of our trip to Wales and Penrallt Cottage made it even better. It has such character and charm. The cottage is very clean with modern furnishings making it a perfect place to stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

“Fantastic views, Really felt we were in the heart of Wales.” The service was fine, we could phone the owner for information or her eggs. We were never intruded upon, but felt she was there to help if need be, give local info about restaurants or beaches. We liked the home, it had a cottage feel with all mod cons including a washing machine in an outhouse. The only snag about the beds was that my daughter [45 yrs] slept on the spare bed in the double bedroom. She found it incredibly hard and woke up stiff and painful. She didn't want to share the double bed with me, found me disturbing [up in the night.] We had to go a few miles into Betswy Coed for food, but the Spar there had everything we wanted and stayed open late every day so shopping was not a problem. The distance to all the different mountains took quite a while to get to, the situation was good, but perhaps not quite as central as we would have liked. Not a big deal really, but we only had a week and we wanted to do so much, a lot of our time was travelling. I liked the views over such a vast skyline of hills and the lovely wild flowers, streams and walks straight from the house. We didn't like sky television, couldn't see the programmes we wanted, they couldn't be found. The boys liked the peace of the place - they had come from the busy city of Shanghai, but being boys, they wanted to play football and found the garden a bit too small for that. I don't think they were too impressed with the games room, but as we were out most of time, these issues were minor. I know they enjoyed their holiday immensely, they had wanted to go to Wales for a long time and they reffered to the fields, the sheep, the beaches and their different hikes many times when they got back to my home. They wrote and thanked me warmly when they went back to Shanghai.

“Quiet escape in beautiful snowdonia” Delightful cottage, well equipped. The owners were available to give advice on where to go when needed. Location in Betwsy is perfect as you feel tucked away next to the river and down a private road but is a minutes walk to shops restuarants etc. Some delightful low level walks you can do from the cottage include the miners bridge, and fairy glen. Easy access to Snowdon for the more venturesome. Cant wait to go back.

“The "Savoy" of Cottages” Nant Cottage was our 5th cottage from Sykes and we just don't know how they can better it. Everything from the welcome scones and supplies to the waterfall virtually in your back garden makes this cottage and location special. I'm hesitant in saying to much as I will want to go back to Nant Cottage in the future and want to make certain that there will be a few free weeks left for me.

“Awesome” The Shippon is a little tired, but, who cares and we loved it. Highly recommend this place to the outdoors type of couple

“A great holiday” The best holiday cottage we have stayed at. Well planned accomodation .Provided everything needed for a restful holiday. Also provided lots of opportunities for walks both adventurous and gentle. Comfortable funiture and beautiful views.

“Better than Expected” I rely on trip advisor reviews when traveling do happy to review. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this cottage for our family of five. It was better than I'd hoped- clean, great location, well- equipped kitchen. Cottage is walking distance from several hiking trails and also in the center of town. There is information on nearby attractions available and also has wifi. The only negative is the bedding had a bottom sheet and a blanket, no top sheet, but it worked fine. It is a bit tucked away, but directions given were good; just follow carefully. We plan to return to Wales and would stay there again!

“This is a lovely cottage with magnificent views , and the sound” For peace & quiet , you can't get better than this lovely home from home cottage . The views across Red Wharf Bay are amazing , and lying in bed listening to the sea all make for a wonderful stay . The cottage is nicely equipped and very comfortable , and James the owner is very helpful & kind . We have already booked for next year !!!

“Toller Familienurlaub!” Liebevoll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung. Nette Vermieter wohnen nebenan. Unsere Kinder haben sehr gerne mit den Hunden und Katzen gespielt. Idealer ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf anglesey und im Snowdon-Gebiet. Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Strände usw. in der Nähe.

“Everything you could wish for” Everything about this cottage was perfect. It was beautifully furnished and such a great size. We stayed here for a family get together with 8 adults. Kitchen and dining area very spacious and great for socialising. Utility room to wash and dry our hiking gear. A fabulous downstairs bathroom and a great living room with a huge TV. Lovely area outside - not warm enough for us to sit outside but can imagine how nice it would be in summer. I took so many things I simply didn't need so it was like being home from home. Very clean and tidy upon arrival. would definitely go again. Gwynn, the owners son was extremely friendly and informative. It was nice to see the photos of how the barn was developed.

“Peaceful ,comfortable, ideal location for visiting Snowdonia.” We were greeted with welsh cakes they were scrumptious. Although we were told the water was from a spring and may be discolored, we could taste nothing different to our own tap water. we felt that we were catered for in every way and would recommend this cottage to any one and everyone. We would like to say a really big thank you to the owners,they did us proud. The cottage is located 3 miles from Llanbedr, down some narrow country lanes, it is off the beaten track really quiet, it is also very cosy and warm. Brian & Patricia Farthing / Alan & Julie Frost

“A perfect get-away-from-it-all cottage!” The cottage was very well-equipped and decorated to a high standard. There was an excellent personal welcome from the owner. There were great views from the garden (when not misty!) We would definitely be happy to return one day.
