“Location and” We were a party of six adults. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the wonderful historic sites as well as the vibrant street markets. The apartment itself is very clean, well appointed and secure. The Sicilian hospitality was evident through the basket of fruit on arrival and the welcome from the apartment manager. The only small negative was that the two single beds in the third room were quite small- they would have been ok for children butnot adults.

“A great place in a great city” This apartment looked great on the website and exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, very clean with lovely furnishings and a confortable large bed. Breakfast was even provided and WiFi! The hostess could not have been more helpful even though we arrived late. The apartment was cleaned mid-stay with new towels etc which we did not expect. The washing machine made packing into a small case easy! I would not hesitate to recommend it if you want to stay in Palermo but have much more room,freedom and a taste of Siciliy than staying in a hotel.

“Friendly,lively and everything to hand” A lovely clean and comfortable apartment in the middle of the market and no we didn't find it too noisy. We had the most beautiful produce, wine etc on our doorstep for a very reasonable price. My husband cooked us some lovely meals so adequate facilities.We also had some nice meals out particularly one just over the road (On the Wall, can't remember the Italian). We had a friendly welcome and lots of information from Gabriele and his father. We travelled to lots of places on buses and trains. We even went to agricento (Valley of the Temples) by train. The trains were air conditioned which helped a lot as the last few days it got very hot.We were glad of the air con in the bedroom which kept us cool at night. We particularly loved a little bar about 5 mins away in Piazza Beati Pauli. Always a good welcome and service and lovely chilled wine for a good price. We would recommend this apartment to friends and family and would like to go back again. There is so much to see in Palermo and I look forward to the reopening of the refurbished Museum of archaeology. It was a lovely old area to stay in. Beautiful crumbling old churches and other buildings. At times we felt we were in a more exotic destination like North africa. There were fruits and vegetables in the market that I had never seen before.So much better than a package trip in a hotel that is the same as all over the world and serving the same kind of fare. Try and learn a bit of Italian!
