“Truly a home away from home” After skimming through the other reviews about Kas Bientu di Pasat there is not much that can added except that all of the positive commentary and praises for this rental are true to life. My wife and I spent a week there and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms that are on the second floor but not for the main living area on the ground floor. When we were there in December there was a nice air flow through the downstairs that made it quite comfortable during the day and air conditioning was not needed. The condo is spacious and very well equipped with all of the amenities you would have at home including an internet based phone for calls to the USA as well as a DVD player and a nice variety of DVDs to watch as you relax after a day of diving or snorkeling. If you want information on dive or snorkel sites as well as other recreational opportunities on the island there is a wealth of printed materials in two large 3 ring notebooks as well as other publications on the living room coffee table. There is also an excellently illustrated book on coral reef fish identification that is so helpful after a dive. The condo is nicely located in a residential area with very friendly neighbors who are free with their suggestions as to ideal dive sites and other activities available on the island. A swimming pool is available which we did not use. Staying at Kas Bientu di Pasat even provided a discount on a car rental as well as diving at Dive Friends. All in all, Kas Bientu di Pasat is a great place to stay at a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a pleasant and memorable stay on Bonaire as long as they don't reserve the weeks we would wish to return. :-)
