“Very Nice vacation we spent in your cottage.” The cottage is well maintained and very clean. Only 15 min walk to the Grand Bend public beach Everybody was satisfied with the quality of service offered and the area. I hope I'll return back again.

“Great home in a great location” My wife, adult daughter and her 4 month old son vacationed at this rental in April 2015. Adella meant us when we arrived even though it was late at night. She gave us a terrific tour of the house and showed us how the pool and other amenities worked. She was a very gracious host and was very responsive during our entire stay. The home was very clean, spacious and in a wonderful area. We enjoyed all aspects of the home and our vacation. I would highly recomend this property.

“3 childhood friends back to Florida again after 30 years, along” This beach home was a perfect location for the pleasures of a beautiful beach. It accommodated us quite nicely. The close proximity to the pier, time square,restaurants and grocery stores was nice, however the trolley was a little unreliable at times. It can become quite the busy stip. The kids enjoyed the dolphins that can be seen frequently on the shores of the beach and at the pier. Our son was a frequent fisherman on the beach catching shark, catfish and jacks! Coming from Canada in February was a definite break from our long cold winter. The Florida sunshine made us crave our long awaited Spring.

“Great family fun!” Our extended family live far apart so we rented the house for a week to spend some time together. There were 13 of us staying in the house, 5 ages thirteen and under! We had a great time. The kids loved the pool and all the space in the house. There was enough room that we didn't feel like we were tripping all over one another and each had our own space. The walk to the beach is easy and short so frequent trips were made there. It is also only a little over a mile to the "Plaza" where there are lots of stores, restuarants, etc. The wagon was very helpful for the little ones when we made this trip. The owner is very easy to work with and the house is well stocked with towels, dishes, toilet paper, etc. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a vacation away from home. We loved it!!

“we do not hesitate in recommending this rental” this was a great location for our family. Close to be beach for walking, pool for relaxiing, close to shopping, nice quiet neighbourhood . Minutes from Daytona Beach . Well equipped with pool toys, linens etc everything you could need. Deposit refund received in about two weeks.

“Perfect Family Reunion” Our family is spread far and wide, so when we decided to get together this year we knew we needed to find a big house with plenty of room, near the beach. Bingo! This house was just what we needed. Cooking is a strong tradition in our family. We found all the dishes and cookware, in a spacious kitchen, that were needed to prepare and serve dinner each evening. Since we love food and talking, eating at home together was a requirement for us. The large dining table became the center of our conversations and after dinner games. Perfect! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. We had plenty of towels, and the washer-dryer were very convenient. The house was big enough in which to find a quiet corner to read when needed. When some were watching TV, others could retreat to the front porch or by the pool. We were 16 people with an age-range from 10 months to 73 years, and we didn't feel crowded due to the space and arrangement of the house. There is a short walk to the beach and the house is in a quiet neighborhood which was perfect for strolls or jogging. Also, it is an easy trip to the shopping centers, with Publix, Walgreens, wine store, etc. Katie, thank you for creating a beautiful home for us to be in for our family reunion. We have great memories to treasure!

“Airy & beautiful home!” We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful East Hampton home. The floor plan is open and makes for an easy flow between the airy living space and kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms are large and well appointed with comfortable beds and fresh linens. The setting of the house is on a wooded acre with incredible views out over the trees and the swimming pool below. The huge deck affords an outdoor dining area perfect for summer entertaining. We will definitely be back for another visit to this amazing get away.

“Great Place to be Lazy in NSB” The house is literally a block away from beach access and two blocks from the main beach access road, Flagler ave. in New Smyrna beach, abundant with shops, bars, and a few of the better NSB restaurants. It's in an actual neighborhood so you don't feel like a complete tourist while you are there, unlike an experience you would have at a condo where everyone is vacationing. Great for long and short stays. We stayed for 9 days and had a great time. It has a large backyard and outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The outdoor shower made life much easier coming back from the beach. Had a great stay surfing and skydiving! The value was incredible!

“Relaxing: Home away from Home...” Over the past 13 years, I have rented this upper cottage for a group of my friends and I to unwind and enjoy the start of fall in Ocean City NJ. The location is within walking distance to the beach (easy walking) and the house offers comfort and a true 'home' feeling. Safe to say, our favorite part of the house is the outside porch that offers ocean sounds and a nice breeze. The landlords (Brian & Karen) have become our family 'At the Shore.' They go above and beyond most rental landlords in that they get to know their renters, and they offer great assistance in helping us find entertainment and dining specific to our tastes. We can't say enough of how that personal touch matters to our gang. Thirteen years of heading to the same place means ... 'If it ain't broke, nothing to fix.' Our group will be heading back in 2013 for year 14!

“It does not get any better than this in Cocoa Beach” There is check-box beneath this text field asking if I'd recommend this vacation rental to a friend. Absolutely not. No way. I'm not telling anybody, I'm keeping this place to myself. We were in town for the annual Cocoa Beach Art Show, plus a class reunion. Rooms were tight in CB, and many of our friends were staying at the local chain hotel/motels. I had first heard about Jackie and Dave's guest cottages a few months ago, but I didn't act. Much to my surprise, it popped up on TA and was available for the weekend. Best move we ever made. The Manatee Suite is over-the-top great. Bordering on kitsch, but not. Beach Kitsch. Brightly painted stucco, manatees, mermaids, sea turtles, and oh that beautiful spacious lanai, about as big as the entire suite. And a koi pond. All enclosed in a very private tropical garden that gives one little incentive to ever leave. There is a very comfy queen bed...a king would be nice, but would seriously cut into the navigation...and a kitchenette/hang-out area with a pull-out perfect for a couple of little ones or just to flop and watch tv (wall mounted flat-screen, extends to full view in either of the two rooms). No stove in the kitchenette, but a fridge and micro, as well as coffee maker and all the basic utensils and plates and drinkware. The Manatee Suite is in the back of the cottage, with the owner's residence and another suite out front. This is perfect, as it provides a buffer from the traffic noise of A1A. Jackie and Dave's little doggie will great you every time you walk by. The gate locks, adding another level of privacy to the beautiful lanai on a sunny day. ;) My wife and I grew up in Cocoa Beach, and return regularly. For some odd reason we'd never heard of the Done Roam Inn Guest Cottages. I hesitate to tell anyone else about it, because it is simply the best place in CB for for a casual vacation. Located one in from the corner of 3d St. North and AIA, it's within walking distance of virtually everything Downtown Cocoa Beach has to offer in terms of restaurants (breakfast, lunch, dinner), bars, coffee shops, you name it. We parked the car and rarely used it. Of course, the beach is right across the street. I mean, like right there. The cottage also comes with a couple beach chairs and extra beach towels. It felt like we were staying with some friends, certainly not in a cold hotel. I think our future plans will be to rent both suites and have a Thanksgiving on the beach. This is a homey and comfy as you'll find in Cocoa Beach...take it from a guy who grew up here and knows his way around this town. My only advice would be to NOT stay here at any of the times we're in town. I'll be sad if the Manatee Suite is not available for us. We showed a few pictures and invited a few friends over and got the same response from every one...jaw dropping, "why didn't we stay here?!" I may be shooting myself in the foot by posting this review, but Jackie and Dave deserve all the positive vibes I can send. In my travels I've found few places that have made me feel so welcome, so at home, than Done Roam Inn. When we checked out, Jackie and my wife shared a hug. I cannot think of one negative thing to post about the place.
