“Lovely, charming and warm cabin!” We had a great time staying at the cabin over Christmas 2012. Ideal for our family (two adults & two children). The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped and warm. Nice and quiet place - no impact from I-70, easy to get to the shuttle bus to Vail! Short walk/or drive to supermarket if needed. The kids enjoyed the new snow and had fun rolling and tubing around the hills behind the cabin.

“Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

“Best weekend ever :)” I have recently rented the bungalow and just have great things to say about it. The place is so cozy, and cute, they had everything we needed and the location couldn't be better. It's very close to any of the skii resorts and many attractions, market...It was only my boyfriend and I and the bungalow was just the perfect choice to spend a holiday weekend. “Perfect pet-friendly cabin with style and a view!” Location is great. Easy to find and get to. Few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Has all the accomodations for a perfect, relaxing weekend. “Perfect Spur of the Moment Getaway” We had a beautiful weekend at the cabin. “Charming, Cozy, Romantic Getaway!” My husband and I loved our stay in Idyllwild. Boulder Creek Cottage was cozy and beautifully decorated. The home was very clean and was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. They even provided coffee, which we forgot to bring with us. The location was beautiful and private yet only 2 minutes to town. The large deck was perfect for relaxing; Bbq's and star gazing at night. I can tell that the owner, Larry really takes great pride in this beautiful cottage. He was also very wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. “A home away from home” We stayed in this log cabin last week for 5 days. This is a very beautiful cedar log cabin. We love the serenity and being with mother nature. Stella, the contact person was very helpful and very nice to us. She is very professional to deal with. The beds were very comfortable and they had a chest full of board games. We enjoyed playing the guitar as well. The lake was not too far. We enjoyed boating there, of course! If you're looking for a log cabin to stay for vacation or just to unwind, I will highly recommend this dream away cabin to give a try! Thanks!

“Very cozy!” We very much enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room and it was well decorated. I absolutely loved the couch, it was very comfortable, and the hot tub was a favorite. “Awe Inspired!” The cabin was wonderful. The Bison feeding was so much fun ,one of the Alpha males had such an assured look in his eyes it was almost regal. The bison burgers were to die first! While in the hotbed which is really nice BTW, we looked up and the sky looked like God himself filled the entire sky thick with glitter that's how many stars there were.When my dog went out here came the grey mini pony and my dog licked it's nose, I think they wanted to elope....LOL The Mtn Goats & Liamas were fun as well. We couldn't remember the last time we were so relaxed. We love Bison Overlook Lodge & we will be back!

“Just couldn't be better!” I have just returned from a 12 day stay at Killdeer Nook. As a woman vacationing on her own this was a wonderful experience. The cabin was just right for a solo retreat. The views were fabulous! One could hike in any direction. The pond was a perfect place to sit in the evenings. The open space and quiet were beyond description. The owners, Rob and Brenda, couldn't have been nicer and more helpful! Killdeer Nook is going to become an annual tradition for me.

“Wonderful cabin!” My husband and I stayed here with our teen aged daughter for our older daughters wedding. The cabin is gorgeous. The decks are wonderful, large and comfortable. “It was a great week.” My church group stayed at the Bear Lodge and the experience more then met our expectations. The lodge was great surrounded by an awesome view. There was no issues the whole week but I did call Ruth one time for a favor and she was happy to help out which I greatly appreciated. We look forward to coming back as soon as we can.
