“Great Place To Stay!!!” I found this bungalow by chance. I was looking for a place away from the noise and action and I found it in this place. Very well kept, lovely pool. and everything that you need. You can take a nice 5 min walk to the central or take a motoconcho which those guys close by are great men. I stay there every time I am in the Sosua area. I feel like it is my home when I am there. Privacy is important to me and the bungalow provides that. The owner and his friend makes sure that everything is ready for your stay. I recommend highly!

“Relaxing stay” Gilles and Genevieve work very hard to make their guest feel comfortable and at home here! My boyfriend and I visited for a week and had a wonderful time. It is in a residential area close enough to the town center to bike, drive or take a long walk. A stunningly beautiful and private beach is just a short walk away. The whole property is only 2 years old, so everything is new and well maintained. Our hosts lived right next door and were always available to help w/questions and bookings (which was great because we didn't turn on our cell phones while traveling abroad). The wifi connection was great for us too. We rented a car for part of the week, but Gilles and Genevieve drove us a few places for incredibly reasonable rates while we were car-less. This is an incredible value overall! Having such gracious hosts made our stay that much more pleasant and special too. I would highly recommend staying here for your next trip to the island.

“Ahhh mazing” We just got back from staying at the most amazing little house you have ever seen, the lonely gecko house was perfect for me and my boyfriend to have a relaxing and uplifting vacation. We felt safe, and more importantly felt like that house was our home away from home. With the amazing colors and bikes we used offten. They home owners are clearly consider our friends with how well they communicated and valued us as guest. You should book the gecko house now! You will not regret the beautiful house and the amazing beaches right near there!

“Adventure Island, A true paradise lost” Impossible I said, to find a relatively island of this size with so few people in this day and age but here we were, on the island of Middle Caicos, the largest of the Turks and Caicos island but with only 300 residents. The pictures did not lie, the place was immaculate and luxurious and the white sand beach stretched for miles. We found even better beachs a few miles away at Cow Hill Bay where we had full access to calm waters everyday so as to try our skill at Kayaking and Paddleboarding. Fresh Fish and Lobster were readily available and while not the best in the world, I managed to get my share with the able assistance of our local guide, Ice Robinson of Conch Bar. This place is lost in time and should be put on an endangered list so as to protect it from development. I can't begin to fathom the difficulty in building this retreat in the middle of nowhere, but here it was... Central air, 10' ceilings, spacious accommodations awesomely decorated and the kitchen was huge and well equipped. The downside if you will was a 6-7 mile drive to the 2 local restaurants in Conch Bar or over to North Caicos where there were plenty to chose from. We took a day to explore North Caicos which was a nice ride across the causeway which had been recently restored but quickly returned to our tranquility and semi-private beaches. We saw only 30 people in a week and I think most were day trippers coming from Providenciales on the ferry. A day of fishing with Dolphus arthur and his sidekick Tboy is a must. The people are extremely friendly and the property manager, Mr Forbes were fabulous. We will be back but for a longer period of time because there is just too much to explore and enjoy. 1st timers need to hire a guide because the best treasures such as Cow Hill Bay, Half a Creek and the channel between Joe Grants Cay are not readily known or mapped out properly. As I said, Adventure Island, thankfully still lost in time.

“Better than expected” We loved our stay at Seawinds. The apartment was clean, spacious, exactly like the pictures, on a beautiful development and right at the deep-blue and turquoise ocean - the view is just breathtaking. The condo itself is well maintained and has all the appliances you need and more, nice big flatscreen TV and two great balconies with furniture. It was also very nice that things like suntan lotion and dishwasher detergent were available, so you don't have to buy all that stuff. There are plenty of plates, glasses, pots and pans, etc. The water heater broke during our stay, but it was quickly repaired the next day. We did have a couple of issues: 1) the water pressure is looow, it was so low that I couldn't get the jacuzzi to fill and I gave up after 45 minutes (pretty sure water pressure can't be fixed) 2) there was no manual in the apartment to explain how to use the WiFi (the password, that it works great on the balcony and the pool, but not in the bedroom), the TV, the water heater, etc., but we worked around that. The condo complex is also well maintained - there were people daily cleaning the pool, removing fallen leaves, etc. Loungers and chairs at the pool(s) are plenty and comfortable (there are 4 pools, but they're all really close together, so it feels more like one big pool). The water in the pools was a bit nippy, not something we would hang around in for hours. In fact, the ocean was warmer. There were hardly any other people, so if you like it nice and quiet, this is the place. The complex is about 20 minutes walk over the beach from most of the restaurants and we walked there every single night - very romantic in the moonlight! There are plenty of restaurants on the beach, from very simple to quite exquisite. Especially La Casita de Papi is worth mentioning. Activities also plenty (to participate or watch from the pool area) like horseback riding, kite boarding, windsurfing, etc. We would definitely recommend this place - you will not be disappointed.

“We loved it!!” Joe the owner is a great guy, he made himself available from day one. The condo is very well kept full of bright tropical colors, nice decorations and it has everything you need while away from home. The beaches are both walking distance and the condo is also close to hair salons, restaurants, the supermarket and various shops including a grocery store around the corner. Juan was also very helpful and the price is great. I went with my husband and two children 8 and 13 years old and we all had a great time. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

“Great condo in a convenient location.” The condo was great...everything went smoothly from the time we arrived. The condo is lovely, the bed super comfortable and everything works well. Has everything you need. Location is great...just a 5 minute walk on the beach to the restaurants and. 10 minutes walk to Janet's if you need groceries. The street can be a little noisy on the weekends but if you leave the bathroom window and door shut, you can hardly hear it. Overall, our stay was fantastic! I would definitely go back. Just a heads up, condo is on the second floor and there are no elevators...we had to lug our stroller up and down which was fine, I need the exercise, but it would not work out for a wheelchair or anything like that.

“We called it Paradise!” The place was AMAZING. The pictures online are awesome; the place in real life is breathtaking. The house is small. Two tiny bedrooms, one with a full(?) sized bed in it and the other with two twins. There's a little living room with a futon. A small bathroom inside and then the gorgeous outdoor bathroom attached to the master bedroom. I've never been in an outdoor bathroom before but it was crazy cool...especially at night when you light the candles! The house itself is very tastefully decorated. It has a beachy/nautical theme, but not gaudy, just perfect. Don't worry about the smallness of the house, though, because you seriously won't spend any time inside. The whole property is designed for the guests to be outside. We spent a ton of time on the blue outdoor couches, watching our 5 year old in the pool with the ocean in the background and listening to the waves or the music from the sonos system (an awesome touch!). Hilda, Euris and Papo are great. Hilda makes the best food and even taught me how to make flan (I recommend asking her to make that). Euris is so easy to be around. He drove us to the Parque Nacional Jaragua. My husband, who speaks Spanish, learned a lot about the area from him. They got along great! Papo kept the pool clean for our daughter and even tolerated her "helping" him. He spends a lot of time keeping the grounds looking so great. And his bonfires are the biggest we'd ever seen. We like our privacy and we're a little worried about having staff around all the time, but all three were so friendly and unobtrusive that it felt like a true paradise. When we booked the house we had planned for it to be just me, my husband and our daughter. Our in-laws were with us for the first part of our vacation and then we had planned to split up for our stay at Las Guayacanes but due to some miscommunication, they were without a place to stay for the first night. We invited them to stay with us until their place in Santo Domingo was ready. They ended up staying two nights (even though they were paying for a hotel room in the capital) because the property was so great. Euris drove them into the city when they were ready to leave. A few days later we decided to drive into the city to visit with them and invited them back to paradise for our last two nights . Again they agreed whilst still having to pay for their hotel room in the city(again). That's how great the place is!!! Also Edmundo is a great host. He responses are very quick and he'll readily answer any questions you have. He's done a great job with the rental. It's fantastic.

“An amazing Trip!!” We stayed at the Captain's Suite for 9 days in January. The unit itself is clean, well maintained and extremely comfortable. The view is unbeatable from the balcony. The location was ideal as we were able to simply walk up the beach to multiple restaurants and open air bars. Upon check-in we were treated to a chilled bottle of champagne and a full bag of coffee. Hazlin was wonderful and very helpful during our stay. The only issue we had was that the internet never cooperated for us. We followed the instructions on restarting the system several times but never had any luck. We finally visited the main reception for the resort. The staff was kind enough to share the resort building wifi code with us.
