“We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday with just enough activity.” We loved staying in Ocean Cottage apt 3. We felt we had the best view of Marigot Bay. We appreciated all the help that the guest office give us. The extra options for tours were perfect. We would definitely recommend Oasis Marigot to other travelers. Thanks from Carolyn and Spencer.

“Wonderful Stay at the Pelican House!” My family & I had a wonderful stay at the Pelican House, our trip couldn't have gone smoother, from the airport pickup by "Smally" the driver, to "Johnson" the porter meeting us at the ferry dock & taking all of our bags up the hill to where the Pelican House is perched overlooking the turquoise waters of Marigot Bay. There was plenty of room in the house & each bedroom & even the kitchen all open up to the large open air deck with a spectacular view. Each morning we were greeted with various small birds & the colorful flowery vine seems to creep right through the railing on the deck. We enjoyed the local restaurants which were close by, either at the bottom of the hill at Dolittles, or across the bay at Chateau Mygo, among others. From the deck you can see the sunrise over the mountains to the East & then at the end of the day look out between the cliffs & see it sink into the Caribbean Sea. The grounds around the home & the Oasis Marigot were well manicured & lush with tropical plants & flowers, it was fun to explore the paths around the property. I would certainly recommend the Pelican House to anyone visiting the Island. I hope to get back soon!

“Fabulous location for a group of friends” Very spacious and bright villa, every amenity we could think of. We stayed for a week with a group of 6 friends and loved to cook in the perfect kitchen or grill some fresh fish and enjoy the evening on the veranda. Four of the rooms have private verandas so everyone could choose privacy or staying together. For 6 people the villa is almost too big, you get lost in the living room :-) The owner provides detailed information beforehand about everything you might want to know about the house and the island. The caretakers have been very helpful and assisted with the transfer as our rental car could not hold all six with luggage. Highly recommended!

“Very relaxing vacation” My wife and I spent 8 nights in this wonderful place with 3 other couples. We flew into the international airport and rented two cars and drove to the villa. The island of St. Lucia is fantastic and the drive alone is well worth the trip. As we had vehicles, we spent a fair amount of time exploring the entire island and found the location of Villa Mandoo to be ideal. It is close to groceries and gas stations as well as the Rodney Bay Marina which has a number of good restaurants on the water. The house is old, but well kept. If you are looking to layout on a beach and have someone bring you fresh drinks, this is not the place for you. If you are the type that likes to be out exploring the islands and lying by the pool with a marvelous view, this is a great spot. Outside of sleeping, we spent zero time in the house. The veranda was a wonderful place to congregate and we usually ended spending the evenings in the pool drinking rum and watching the stars. Don't forget to use the outside showers, they were great. The snorkeling cove is a mere 1 minute walk down the hill. There are some sea urchins where you get in, so watch your step. It's a nice spot, but the fish are not plentiful as you might see in other parts of the Caribbean. There is a small hidden beach on the other side of the road from the villa that is 5 minute walk away. It is great and is visited by only a few locals on the weekendsThe staff is wonderful and with a little prior notice Marie anne will cook you the most fantastic curry chicken. There are fruit trees in the yard and the oranges were just starting to ripen when we left. Over all, if you like to be on your own schedule, like the outdoors and don't mind a few geckos visiting you, this is a fantastic place. If you are the type that like the amenities, fixtures and service of a four star hotel, you should probably go and book a four star motel. As for us, we are telling our friends to try out the house and plan a return trip for ourselves.

“Most amazing villa ever!” Akasha Villa was amazing. Me and my Husband got married in St Lucia and we had seen this villa online and had to book it for our honeymoon. We have been planning this for over a year and could not wait to stay there. When we arrived we were amazed by how beautiful the villa was and it was more then we expected. The views in every room just blew us away, they were spotless with the latest mod cons which was such a treat. There is everything you need in the villa, from a luxury home cinema to a games room and swimming pool to yourself. Juliet was our chef, she cooked us some delicious food and if you do stay there you have to try her local juices, you will not be disappointed. The owner was so helpful and professional with all our correspondence during the time of our booking and entering the villa, we could not thank him more. We are so glad we stayed in akasha, as this is a memorable honeymoon for us. We wish to visit again in the future.
