“Great Vacation at Villa Ka Kuxta” Villa Ka Kukta was a little paradise for all my family 5 adults and 7 children.We all had a wonderful time. Akumal is a wonderful place to stay, the villa is in a secluded location and we really appreciated that. Akumal Playa and Village are very nice, we enjoyed the restaurants and the boutiques there. It is easy to visit some of the Maya sites: we went to Tulum, Koba and Chichen Itza. We enjoyed Christmas Mass in Chemuyil, people there were very friendly, in fact all mexicans are really very nice. The management and staff at the villa were perfect, they cooked nice dinners for us and did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable. We were sad to leave and sorry we could not stay longer (the trip from France is quite long and tiresome, but my son and son-in-law had to go back to work, a week is too short...) All of us will keep wonderful memories of this awsome place and we wish you a great 2103.

“wonderful as always” Luna azul is a special place located on a special beach, where the turtles swim right up to your front door. One day we saw 11 of them while snorkelling. The local restaurants (Buena Vida and Lunita) are not supplemented by a new discovery in the local town called La Ultima Maya.

“Paradise!” Our two families stayed at Casa San Francisco for one week (4 adults and kids 19, 16, 14, 12 and 12). The house was perfect for our vacation! There was enough room for everyone in this beautiful house and being right on the beach was heaven. Everyone in the group swam in the pool and ocean, and many went kayaking and snorkeling in our 'back yard.' Beach towels are included at the house, as well as toiletries like you would get in a hotel. Although many places to see where close-by, some of the best time that we spent was just hanging around the villa, reading in the hammock, relaxing on the beach or swimming. The location of the house is great to get to many attractions, most only 1/2 hour or so away. Some of the activities we did (other than relaxing at the villa) were snorkeling at Yal-ku lagoon, visitng ruins at Tulum and Coba, shopping in akumal, Tulum and Playa del Carmen, visiting Hidden Worlds and Xcaret parks, and visiting other beaches (Akumal, Tulum, others). Guille (the staff manager) was very attentive and helpful with suggestions on places to go or things to do. Some in our group were worried about security given the news from other (far-away) parts of Mexico, but we felt very safe at the villa with the security provided. Marcia from akumal Direct Reservations was extremely helpful in pre-trip advice and answering our many questions about the place. It's always a little nerve-wracking preparing to go somewhere you have never visited, but she helped put us at ease. One thing we did not do but I wished we had done was to have dinner cooked for us one night as this was a highlight for others who had stayed at the house (as written in the guestbook). I highly recommend Villa San Francisco for a family or large group vacation.

“Relaxing Turtle Haven” Perfect! Lots of room, centrally located, perfectly secure with multiple security guards who took great care of our kids and showed them turtles at night. Turtles and eggs everywhere. Beautiful yard and pool with lots of great activities.

“Our Wonderful Golden Jubilee(Anniversary) Vacation” We love to travel, we lov e to see new things, learn about the cultureand a bit of the histoery of the places we visit. There are few places that we like to revisit. Akumal is the exception. We brought our whole family, our kids and grandkids. We told them this wouldn't be a sit on the beach vacation although we did do that also. This was our 50th Anniversary and we wanted to share this beautiful place with them. They were blown away with the beauty of the Bay, the Ocean and the Lagoon. We also visited many of the historical sites such as Chichen Itza and sone of the cenotes and ecological sites such as Xcaret. To top it off we had a gorgeous Villa with a swimming pool(our grandkids loved it) We also were blessed with a wonderful couple,Abelardo and Basilia who took care of our every need. I can't say enough good things about Abelardo and Bacilia. They were gourmet cooks and they kept the Villa spotless. You are fortunate to have 2 such wonderful employees. “Best Beach on the Yucatan!” Great condo right on the pristine white sandy beach with awesome snorkeling right out in front of the condo. #6 unit has a large wrap-around deck for lounging or dining, wi-fi, comfortable beds. Excellent housekeeping, managerial and grounds staff. Security gate attendant 24/7. Lots of fun things to do in the area including Myan ruins, Xcaret Park, Xplor, Hidden Worlds,Plya de Carmel, ferry to Cozumel. Good grocery store in Tulum and local market in akumal on Wed & Sat. Good dive shop and restaurants in akumal. Definitely want to have a car if you're staying at the Seven Sea's Condo to travel around to the sites. Driving was no problem. We did pruchase the Mexican auto insurance ($40/day plus the rental fee $161/wk, expensive but worth the peace of mind). We felt perfectly safe in this area of Mexico.

“Comfortable, and complete, with a view to remember” You will love the view, from this comfortable and spacious condo. The decor is lovely and, the condo well equipped. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, sipping beverages on the balconies, or in the living area, all with lovely views. The stairs must be noted, as they are many, but if you are in relatively good condition, will not be a problem and you can eat and drink with no remorse, as you know you've gotten your work out for the day. The pool is nice and offers some shady retreat and change of pace from the beach palapas. Snorkeling is good in half moon bay, and while water shoes are necessary for entry near the condos, easier entry just 2 properties down the beach. The service from management, maintenance and Theresa/Sylvia (housekeeping) was exemplary. The condo has an aC in each bedroom and one in the main living area, which is nice, as you can keep the comfort level personalized per room. Marcelus repaired an aC, as well as a leaky shower head. He is very handy and speaks English quite well. We also had a microwave kaput, which is apparently common due to constant sea moisture. If you hear or smell something strange from a microwave, just unplug it and notify your manager. The unit was replaced the next day. We enjoyed having high speed internet, and sat. tv in order to check the weather forecast. We used the dvd player to watch the slideshow of some photos taken on a rented underwater camera. I really enjoyed the hard boiled egg maker! I used it twice! There were books to read and many of them had wonderful photos of the fish of the Sea below that wonderful expansive wall of windows. I was excited about the hammock and I did use it twice, but it is a bit highly hung (needed a spotter to get in) and unless you are not sharing the balcony at the time, hangs in front of everyone else's view. Not sure it can be hung any other way, but most of the time I draped it out of the weather, so we could all enjoy the amazing view.

“Great birthday weekend” I booked this villa for a birthday weekend with my girlfriend and our closest friends. The house is HUGE, beautiful, and in pristine condition. The photos of the property look fantastic, but it looks even better in person. The house has dozens of places to sit and relax, making it the perfect property for hosting. The owner is very helpful in helping arrange plans, book transportation, and suggest sites and restaurants. The staff are friendly, make a great/simple breakfast, and keep the place spotless. Every bedroom is spacious with its own bathroom and most have balconies and places to hang out outside and see the ocean. The upstairs master bedrooms are beautiful and very romantic. When we visited the weather was beautiful and it didn't rain. The pool is beautiful and a great place to relax. A lot of use took kayaks into the ocean as well. I would suggest bringing snorkel gear as there are a lot of cool reefs and rock formations a little ways out into the water. We had a great time and would definitely come back for another special occasion.

“Privacy” Our stay was a very positive experience. We loved the bedroom configuration (both had their own bath) of being separated by the porch, which was large and we spent most of our time on it. Kitchen was well equiped and the overall decor was very nice. The view was the best ever, and we have been to akumal 6 times. The only negative for us was that the furniture was small and for us uncomfortable (we are tall). The people who manage the condo are very efficient, helpful and friendly and addressed any situation that we had come. If you have to call them for anything, they show up right away.

“Paradise in the Mayan Riviera” What a magnificent place! I've rented homes online before and what I saw was not always what I got. This exceeded my expectations in beauty, location, services and comfort. Udi's home is designed to perfection. The staff couldn't be better. Martin is an amazing chef. We will definitely return. It was particularly nice to go in July when we could watch the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach, but this would be one of my top picks anytime of the year. The bedrooms are all gorgeous and the view from the living room is spectacular. Thank you for giving us the perfect family vacation. It was exactly what we hoped for!

“A perfect stay” A beautiful location, on a beautiful beach for a relaxing stay. Here, the sea is quiter than in Tulum, you can swim with the turtles and the ray fishes. The house is really confortable while directly on the beach, the safety is ensured. We spent 5 perfect days. I really recommend this condominium.

“Amazing and we will be back!” Just can't say enough great things about akumal Direct and the outstanding level of customer service they provided from start to finish. At every point of our trip the crew of akumal Direct delivered. Our accommodations were fantastic (my only wish would have been for a little better quality of mattress)and Miguel was such a class act. See you next year!

“Lovely spot on Half Moon Bay” I can't say enough about the beautiful location on Half Moon Bay. We enjoyed hours watching various fish and rays in the water, along with the pelicans, frigate birds and osprey flying by. The condo was well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was large enough and had everything we needed (except a lime squeezer, but we left one there :). The pool was refreshing, and a nice option when the wind kept us out of the bay. The inner courtyard was quiet and a relaxing place to sit in the evening. The housekeeper and the grounds keeper do a terrific job. We walked down to La Buena Vida for happy hour several times, and had a deliciously memorable dinner at La Lunita. We got take-out pizza from Lol Ha, and enjoyed it from the balcony looking out over the amazing landscape of the bay. Even though we knew the other condo units were occupied, we rarely heard anyone. Mostly, we just heard the waves on the reef, and the breeze blowing through the large livingroom windows. La Sirena #14 will be on our list of places we would like to visit again.

“Can you keep a secret?” Seven Seas is our favorite place to stay and #3 only adds to the enjoyment. The condo is nicely appointed and so comfortable! The staff at Seven Seas is delightful. Miguel cooked two meals for us and he and his girlfriend joined us one night for dinner. The meals were amazing! He was always available when we had questions and went out of his way to help us. Everyone takes such pride in the complex and it really shows! The location is perfect. Having the quiet and never crowded beach is such a plus. The snorkeling is amazing and just a few steps out the door. Akumal is just a 5 minute drive away or a 30 minute walk up the beach. We have tried most of the restaurants in the village and across the highway in the Pueblo. They are all different and good...give them a try. I can't say enough about Seven Seas (#3). It is such a perfect place to escape to. We're already planning our next trip!

“Dos Jaguares is architectually unique and the bay is fantastic.” If you love Akumal and the Riviera Maya, you will love Dos Jaguares. Anyone familiar with the Mayans will notice the unique Mayan design elements incorporated into this villa. All of our family enjoyed the villa and the staff. Akumal Bay is a great place to snorkel, see the turtles and enjoy the beach life. We will all be back very soon.

“Awesome! Swimming with sea turtles, Akumal itself and all those” Our accommodations were wonderful. The place was quiet and the sound of the ocean put me to sleep. I loved walking the road to akumal. Met so many friendly people from around the world and the locals.

“Amazing Villal & Vacation!!” Rarely do I ever take the time to write reviews of my hotels, villas or destinations but the team behind Villa alma Rosa is incredible and deserve a shout out! I'm an avid visitor to the Riviera Maya, Akumal & Tulum and was looking for a villa to help ring in my birthday with some friends. The communication between Marina at Riviera Maya Haciendas was incredible - quick response, courteous and happy to accommodate every need and request. Everything was organized for me according to my needs prior to arrival i.e. grocery shopping, food menus, villa prestocking, flowers, maps etc. If you're looking for a villa rental with a true "concierge" type of service then alma Rosa is right up your alley. When we arrived the house, I was really impressed at the care that goes into alma Rosa. The furnishings, details, color and character are all tastefully so done and warm that it really adds to the experience. The outdoor area/pool/beach are beautiful and well maintained, this is where we really spent most of our days/nights. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very beautiful with amazing beds/linens and furnishings. I've rented quite a few villas in the Riviera Maya and a lot of them feel cheap and have poor construction etc. Villa alma Rosa is a real home! I briefly met the owner when I first arrived who was lovely but wanted to get out of our hair so we enjoyed our time. The chef Carlos and his wife/housekeeper Jafet are the 2 sweetest people on the planet and to be honest are part of the sole reason that I would rent alma Rosa again. The food, attention and love along with hard work that they gave us every day was simply amazing and I was so grateful to have them there with us. They felt like family when we left! Overall I will absolutely be returning to alma Rosa soon but at the same time don't want to spread the word - I think this is the best kept secret & villa in the area! “outdated” loved working with marcia and look forward to having her book our next stay at seven seas. this was our third visit. we have stayed in units 4 and 3 and this time we were in 1. in a nutshell...it is in serious need of a lot of updating to be on the same level as the other units. yes, it was less expensive, but we would definitely spend more for one of the lighter, brighter and updated units. the staff at seven seas is fantastic. miguel is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and we enjoy talking with him each time we return. the grounds are gorgeous and the cleaning staff is terrific!! i wish seven seas could stay a secret, but it won't. it is the most perfect place we have found in our travels throughout the caribbean. our next trip can't come soon enough!

“Akumal Villas and Los Primos” Superb stay as usual per repeat customers. Rhett the administrator and his assistant Maria made our arranngements smooth and relaxing from the first day through the last day. The housekeeper Getty and her husband Pedro were friendly and efficient. We will naturally be back.

“Two weeks of fabulous accommodations...” Fantastic home that is ideal for a family, or several couples sharing (3 bed / 3 bath). Management was very responsive and helpful, both Stateside and in Mexico. Can highly recommend both this property and akumal Direct for your next trip "south of the border!"

“Fantastic” This is our 6th trip to akumal, always at Nicte Ha. The location is perfection. Cooled by the Carribean breeze, perched on a coral bluff, pool Oceanside with great outdoor space to soak the sun and relax in bliss. Major upgrades to the property. Mari and Jose take care of everything in the light, security at night. Great food, snorkeling a short walk away, and fantastic ruins, shopping and riviera theme parks a short drive. This place is heaven for those looking to try a different path.
