“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Comfortable "Home away from Home"” When my husband and I found Joe,s vacation rental we very happy to hear that we could bring our small dog "Sassy". The apartment proved to be comfortable,spacious and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the extrmely comfortable King bed and fabulous shower. Victoria Park is a lovely neighbourhood and we enjoyed long walks with Sassy. Las Olas Blvd. within walking distance has great restaurants and shopping. Our Host Joe went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we required and had a happy and enjoyable time during our 3 month stay.

“Budget friendly, spacious home” We loved staying only a few short miles from Disney in a home that could accommodate our large family. Parking was very tight, but we managed. The home offered plenty towels, bedding, dishes, flatware, etc. for our large crew. I was, however, glad I packed some cookware as it would have taken a much longer time to feed a large group with the small cookware provided. I was impressed with how no one had to take cold showers as the hot water heater was able to keep up with everyone taking showers for church on Sunday morning. The air conditioning worked perfectly & the owner had recently purchased a brand new grill. We did have difficulty getting some of the electric outlets to work and one of the overhead lights did not work at all in one of the bedrooms. There were a few issues with ants and roaches when we first arrived, but we purchased bait plus the exterminator came on her regularly monthly visit while we were there & took care of the issue. I guess the biggest inconvenience was that there were no shelves on the refrigerator door. The house would have been perfect had refrigerator had those shelves or there had been a second refrigerator in the garage/game room. It was inconvenient to have to go grocery shopping every 2-3 days because the refrigerator would not hold enough food for a large group. The washer & dryer, however, were huge & plenty big! There were a few other minor issues, but we decided we would rather live with them than have to stay at the house & wait for the management company to come & deal with them. Overall, I would recommend this home to anyone. The owner is obviously trying to keep the house up.

“Most amazing vacation and service I've ever had” There are so many wonderful things to say about this vacation its hard to consolidate it down :) The house is absolutely amazing. Each bedroom is special and unique and the outdoor living space is more than we could dream of. Hio and Nadine were our chefs and housekeepers and I couldn't say anything better about those two - they made the most delicious food, helped us with any favors or questions we had, and probably made too many trips to the grocery store (and liquor store!) than usual for us! Robert was awesome as the groundskeeper - as soon as it started raining (which probably lasted 5 minutes the entire trip) he would appear out of thin air to get the outdoor seat cushions out of the rain. We had such a great time and it was my husband and mine's first time bringing our friends - its a different kind of vacation, much more authentic and cultural than most are used to so we were a little nervous about how they would like it but everyone agreed - this vacation was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxing, private, and less touristy vacation spot.

“Ultimate Relaxation in Paradise” What a beautiful villa and property. We had the most lovely, relaxing vacation here with all conveniences and more. From a swim in the pool in the morning to a short walk to the local beach in the afternoon, it really is breathtaking. We felt totally safe, whether walking or bike riding in the day or night. Just a short 15 minute walk into a very lovely little town with awesome restaurants and live music. For nature lovers, this place is unbelievable, beautiful birds, butterflies and animals we had never seen before, but was a huge part of our enjoyment living here. We had the best holiday ever!!!

“Great home for large families!” Great house for our exceptionally large family. Private pool was nice and the water park in the community kept the kids going all day! We did find a broken foosball table and dining chair. Also took the time to tighten up all the remaining dining chairs to prevent them from being damaged. Overall, the family loved it!

“Home away From Home” This was a family trip. It was four adult women and 3 adult men. We stayed September 14-17 and had a wonderful time at Llantrissant. Ms. Anne, Ms. Paulette, Danny, Benjie, Charma and Barry were all very professional and very accommodating, by the time we left they felt like family. Ms. Anne and Ms. Paulette prepared excellent meals. The house was homey and we all felt right at home. It's an older house but very well kept along with the landscape and beach area. The veranda (which is were we spent most of our time while we were at the house) provided for an excellent view. We loved having the private beach area. Charma (and Barry) walked the yard at night and made us feel very safe. I was a little nervous because you really don't know what to expect when you're communicating through email and over the phone. But Craig and afua were patient with me and answered all of my questions and as soon as we got to Llantrissant the staff put us all at ease. They welcomed us with open arms. We look forward to returning in the future!!

“A luxurious getaway par excellence” The Villa Gardenia provided the ideal setting for our week in paradise. The villa accommodated three couples (one with young child) with ease. With warm colors and a bright, airy, open layout, we never wanted to leave. Whether lingering in the kitchen after a meal, lounging on the adjoining living room's sofa or (most of all) spending hours by the gorgeous pool, the Villa Gardenia was a delight.
