“Just another Day in Paradise!” My family and I spent a marvelous week at this elegant property and have not stopped raving about our stay to family and friends. The penthouse itself is spacious and well equipped with 4 sliding doors that look out over the pool, beach and out into the sea. The cook, recommended by the manager, prepared a scrumptious lunch, which we enjoyed each day on one of the two terraces. We primarily used our rented quad to ride into town for shopping, and to go out to dinner on several days.My in-law's, who live in the DR, came up for a few days and we used their car to get around when we were going out with a larger group. We found several restaurants we enjoyed, nearby. There were plenty of things to do in and around town, including scuba diving, kayaking, day trips to Limon or simply walking along the beach. We are already planning to return next year and to extend our stay to 2 weeks.

“A week of tropical relaxation!” Ivan, We have been home nearly 2 weeks now but find ourselves still thinking and talking about what a wonderful time we had. We found the condo exceptional. The attention to detail in the condo was impressive. That along with the beautiful view from the condo and the great location of the condo on the property made it truly seem like the perfect accommodation. A short 4 minute walk to the beach or another short 5-6 minute walk to the Mariner Restaurant and two larger pools. We cannot say enough about the staff of the Fishing Lodge. It seemed they went out of their way to anticipate our every need. Delicious food, entertainment, cleanliness, hospitality and excellent service along with the beauty of the condo and resort provided us with a very memorable vacation. We hope to visit again. “Home away from home” This was an awesome place to stay. Dave and Bernie are very friendly and did everything they could to please us. If a problem developed, it was addressed almost immediately. The apartment is as well equipped as your own home. Ideal location across the street from bay, with the constant breeze you didn't have to use a.C. Easy cycle into town to pick up supplies. Our hosts were so pleasant for this three month vacation that we felt like we were staying with friends. A definite thumbs up!

“lovers getaway...” I just want to say what a quiet, beautiful , place to be. the staff are absolutely beautiful ppl ! and will bend over backwards to make you happy( or climb a tall coconut tree! lol) It's a small U shaped building,facing the ocean and your own private lagoon and small beach. The apartment (#24) is right on the end , bottom . just feet from the sand/ lagoon. It is beautifully decorated by the owners own art!!! gorgeous!!! bright and very originally! and very jamaican! my husband and I lounged around in apartment or just by the pool or lagoon , for days!! we didn't want to go or do anything else, we were just relaxed ! we ventured out evey 2 nd day to see beautiful Jamaica , but honestly felt no need to rush anything cause we had no agenda ... and the location is perfect , it's minutes walking to a public beach . and seconds from a grocery store, pub and restraunt... all you need to survive!! food/ groceries and drinks :) there's onsite security, so no need to feel any uneasiness of locals coming and harassing you ! they don't get past the gates . like I said The staff are excellent and we will be back ! thank you Daniela

“Very Comfortable and well furnished vacation rental!” I spent a few nights here with my husband. It was great value for money. Clean property with new amenities and air conditioned which is always a plus. Very convenient location as it was very close to a supermarket. Also beaches and a few local restaurants were all whithin walking distance. Damian and Xiomara, the owners were very friendly and accomodating to any questions we had. Overall great stay!

“Honduran adventure and Restful Times” Victoria and Henry Karpinski were amazing hosts. The accommodations in the penthouse were actually...breathtaking. Everything inside was clean, orderly and practical to just live and relax. The views were incredible and beautiful blue, green, and coral colored water views from every window and decks! The restaurant one story below was so convenient to grab a meal or snack then come back upstairs and relax. The kayaks and snorkeling equipment you can use while staying with Henry & Victoria are a fantastic way to get out and do some adventure time. The sea life is incredible and taking the kayak a short distance will take you to deserted sandy beaches. Thank you Victoria and Henry for a fabulous vacation! I will be sure to tell my friends and family to come visit! Mariners Landing, a short ride across the sea was terrific and would love to help find some buyers for your beach front properties. Henry's construction work was top-notch and your design work on layout and decorating was fabulous! Keep up the good work...

“Excellent” This is a lovely Condo with a spectacular view. The Condo offers pretty much everything you could want. We arrived in at 2am in the morning and was able to contact somebody to let us into the apartment, after not being able to make internet or phone contact with Michelle because we were stuck in Cuba. It is easy to get to the heart of everything with the cheap bus ride and it comes pass constantly. Easy walking to the convenience store 24hrs. We would stay again.

“Heaven” There just aren't enough adjectives to do this review justice. This is a once in a lifetime lovely, relaxing, fun and pleasant place to vacation. Peter and the staff took care of every request starting from the moment of booking this vacation. We were able to provide information about our likes/dislikes as it pertains to comfort, food, drink, privacy or not, activities we like to do, etc before we arrived. Peter also helped us plan our time on both ends of the trip on the island so we could enjoy the Belize mainland. I would recommend doing the same and not missing any moments you have to spend on the island. Take an excursions on the mainland before and/or after your booking dates for the island. Peter and the staff accommodated every request we had even if it meant going to the mainland to bring something in to meet the request. The other reviews about The Royal Belize are exactly what we experienced too. The up-to-date technology is wonderful. You use connected ipads/itouches for music, communication to the staff and entertainment in every home and the main Palapa. We were even able to connect our ipads to the sound system and we played (with the other couple we came with) name that song/artist. It was great fun. You will not be let down when you travel to this destination spot I like to call Heaven. Thank you to Peter and staff for bringing a part of Heaven into our lives.

“Beautiful and relaxing... just what we needed!” Our stay at The March House was amazing! My family and I were looking for somewhere peaceful away from the noise in town, but still close enough to everything. The house is very elegant and spacious... beautiful breezes at night and the noise of the waves crashing made for a wonderful, deep sleep. The beach in front has lovely tide pools to relax in, and it was only a short drive to a good surf break on days we felt like being more active. There are great restaurants close by, but the house was so comfortable and well equipped we opted to stay home most evenings. Yan was very helpful throughout the booking process and helped arrange activities and quad rentals while we were there. Overall a wonderful experience!

“Excellent Family Vacation” My family and I had a wonderful time at Casa Caribena. We met 4 other families there (who also had kids). The location is the best you can find...right on the beach in a gorgeous, safe spot. The coral right outside our door provided tons of snorkeling fun for the adults and great tide-pooling for the kids. (I do recommend everyone bring water shoes so you can play more comfortably in the ocean). The house crew were exceptional too. They cooked and cleaned up after us, which made meals so easy for busy parents. It also made it a simple process to stock the house with food because Lily went to the store for us and saved us a ton of time (which is better spent on the beach or in the pool). The house is super clean, cool and comfortable and very large. I highly recommend to any families who are looking for a get-away but with ease and comfort for the kiddos. P.S. I also give huge kuddos to Lisa who answered endless questions from me and so was patient and kind. She was wonderful to deal with and made us feel welcomed. I'd definietly come back!!!

“Spacious and comfortable” My family and a friend's family spent a wonderful week in Nicaragua, and we were amazed at the beauty of this country and the people. When we arrived at this beach house, I was impressed by the large living areas of the house and great design. Our family spent one of our most memorable vacations. The feeling of being in front of the ocean, nobody to bother you at the beach, being with nature as it was originally made, not artificial. This was outstanding. Otilia and Pepe, the housekeepers were outstanding and friendly, and taught our kids many Spanish words. We go back with a collection of shells, lots of pictures and a broken heart. We will return!

“Phenomenal house!!!” The house is amazing and up to date!!! The outdoor patio was perfect! We listened to music while grilling fish and watching the sun set! “Best winter getaway ever” Case Caribena is an amazing, spacious, spotless home in a fantastic location with wonderfully thoughtful staff. We were a group of 12 adults and thouroughly enjoyed everything the Casa has to offer. Pricci, Lily and the staff kept the house, pools and grounds in perfect condition. Lilly's cooking can't be beat for a relaxing, delicious meal. We ate out a few times, but Lily's food was the best. Wifi worked well for us. A few of us signed up for international calling with our cell providers and it worked as needed without much issue. Our family is already trying to figure out when we can return! The owner, Lisa, is extremely responsive and helpful, recommending restaurant and fishing excursion companies that were great. Plenty to do in close proximity. Ceynote's everywhere, ruins, shopping, restaurants, grocery for stocking up within 10 minutes of the house.

“Unique High-End Private Beachfront Escape” Casa Vela is a beautifully designed "beach house", with all the amenities and toys one would want for a Playa del Carmen getaway. It feels like you are in your own hotel. The dining area is a huge open deck with wide views of the beach and the jungle. Literally on the beach.
