“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Fantastic” We could not speak more highly of this beautiful and well positioned villa. The managing agents are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. The pool was always warm and inviting. We had the best holiday, largely due to the fact that out accommodation was worry free and great for the quiet days. Thanks to all involved and will definitely be coming again. “Wonderful beach condo with amazing ocean views” I stayed at Audrey and Eric's condo during Hangout Music Fest, and it was a comfortable place to sleep, eat, get work done, and enjoy the view of the ocean. Checking in and out was hassle-free, as was communicating with the owners. Definitely a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy some time on the beach.

“Paradise by the beach!” 1203 is a beautiful unit with awesome views, access to two pools & hot tubs, and easy access to the Beach via a covered walkway. Very clean and well maintained and the owners were great to work with. Lots of good restaurants and shopping opportunities close by. Loved it, and hope to be able to make it my home away from home again soon!

“Truly Amazing” Storytellers the most amazing place to stay. I will definitely return. The owner was always prompt on responding to emails and went above and beyond helping us with our stay. My family and I enjoyed the pool, the cinema, and spa during our stay. We had absolutely no problems with our stay at Storytellers. My 5 year old granddaughter loved the Frozen Room and didn't want to come home. The house is so inviting and beautiful. This house is a must if you are planning a trip to Kissimmee area.

“Best View Ever” This was a very nice condo at the beach! Most condos only offer a view facing the beach but this unit has a clear long distance view all the way to Ft Morgan from inside the unit, the beach view and the Lagoon in the back. Windows surrounded the living room and kitchen while there were two sliding doors that opened to balconies on both sides. The condo was very nicely furnished including flat screen televisions, the property had a number of pools onsite and it was close to nice places to eat.

“Great location and clean unit” The location of this unit is great. The back gate is just outside the unit and the walk to the beach is an easy one. The walk or bike ride to Coligny Beach Park and the shopping plaza was very easy. It's about half a mile. The beach off Ibis St is quiet and not nearly as crowded as the beach at the Shipyard Plantation club house. The club house beach was great because of the restroom facilities and ability to rent chairs and an umbrella, but our family preferred the quieter beach access outside the back gate. Also, the pictures do not do this unit justice. It was much nicer than I expected. The unit was clean and quiet. Our week long stay was great.

“Great property. Highly recommended.” This property is even nicer than it appears in the photographs. The house is clean, comfortable, open and airy. The kitchen is contemporary and well appointed. The master bedroom is a tranquil retreat with its high ceilings, plush bed, solarium and beautiful en-suite bathroom. The living room/dining area are bright and have nice views of the adjoining golf course. The pool area is nicely landscaped and is a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. My family and I had a terrific stay here.

“Great location. Wonderful plce for a family gathering.” Our family of 11 stayed through the New Year's holiday. What a wonderful place. There was plenty of room and the house is so big that there were little nooks to get away from the crowd if someone wanted quiet reading time. The location is perfect, just 1/2 block from the Main Street in Lake Placid. We walked down to the bottom of the hill to go on a dogsled ride and cross country ski on the lake. The home is 5 minutes from the Olympic Center and 15 from Whiteface Mountain. There is so much to do in Lake Placid. We ran out of time before running out of things to do. Grocery stores were conveniently located and on one of the frigid evenings we picked up the most wonderful Italian meals from a take out place just down the street. This location had it all!

“Unique and beautiful...heavy on the character...” I'm a frequent visitor of the 'ette. I love the location (right off the main drag) but enjoy its solitude (wooded median...long drive way). Its sort of like a studio apartment in the woods. its close to many of the wineries, The Red Newt and Stone Cat restaurants and a gas/quick mart. When Wine tasting its easy to swing by and change clothes/use the facilities/take a nap (comfy beds) and unload your recent purchases. The owners are friendly and helpful. The grounds are spacious with a nice walking trail. For what you get for the price its really a great secret. So why share a secret? I'm not there long enough or frequent enough to keep it to myself...like a cool song, I shouldn't be singing it alone (especially if you've heard my voice).

“Perfect stop & go on our way to weekend in the city” This was the perfect stop & go on Thursday evening as we were staying downtown for the weekend to see Dave Matthews, Vicki greeted us after arrival, answered any questions we had, and we had complete privacy from that point on. The fridge was stocked with drinks and breakfast items, and the kitchen was ready to prepare a meal had we opted to have dinner in. We used Uber for trips as everything is very close to Vicki's place! Very affordable in comparison to hotel but all the amenities of home! Thanks Vicki! Melanie & Eric

“Cute, convenient, quite cottage.” My wife and I stayed here for four night at the end of July. It is a cute rustic cabin with room for two - four people. It is close to everything in the Traverse area. Nestled on Duck lake peninsula, it is a great place for fishing. I caught 4 large-mouth bass out of the nearby canal alone. The owner is very nice and prompt in her responses. The peninsula has four different spots where you can access the lake. Good if you are looking for a quick weekend getaway!

“awesome beautiful place” I can't say enough about this. Place, perfect I guess Serene, peaceful,beautiful, quiet. Djuna the owner is Sweet and very efficient and provides every detail. The Whole are is perfect Oct a getaway, things to do places To shop,eat or just cuddle in with a fire. We will Definetly be returning as soon as we can.:)))

“It's Delightful, It's Delicious, It's De-lovely!” One would think that Cole Porter wrote those lyrics after visiting Ye Olde Manor House! The owners, Karen Fulbright-Anderson and John anderson, are a delightful, warm, welcoming couple. They are so friendly and engaging that you feel at home almost as soon as you arrive. And their home reminds me of an English Country Cottage with the many comfortable seating areas and nooks and crannies expected. There is also a beautiful green lawn with several flowering beds and many lovely spots for sitting. But the piece de resistance of the public areas is the year-round indoor/outdoor pool, with a depth of no more than 5 feet, which makes it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers (me) alike. First, and most importantly, each guest room has it's own private bath stocked with lovely smelling potions and lotions, big, soft, fluffy bath towels and anything else that you might need. Second, the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the 'Oak Room', which is filled with antique oak furniture and is perfect for one person. There is a chair for reading, a beautiful antique trunk that you can sit on use for your luggage and antique lamps, doilies and trinkets. There were two other guest rooms nearby, but I slept like a baby and never heard anyone else! The breakfast that John and Karen offer negates the need for lunch! You have a choice of Vegan, Vegetarian or the Meat and Dairy eaters breakfast, and everything they prepare is delicious! Finally, there are plenty of other things to do nearby-walking around the Lake, hiking, visiting the quaint Town of Elkhorn, attending concerts and, my favorite, antique fairs!! My long weekend at Ye Olde Manor House was so enjoyable and relaxing that it left me feeling as though I'd spent a week at a spa. Writing about it is making me feel the same way all over again. I can't wait to visit again!!!
