“Quiet” We fundamentally enjoyed our week's stay at this cabin. We had a really great time, despite the absence of a dishwasher ;-) ! In the end, we did not even have time enough to fully explore the island ... Unfortunately, the road to Anderson Bay was too rough to make it there, even with our all-wheel-drive rental car: we tried but gave up halfway, being afraid we would strand in the middle of nowhere, many km from civilisation (= Bob's Lake) and without cell-phone reception. We did not encounter a single other car on that trip, all day long! We also liked the Heischolt lakes and Shingles beach. The Raven restaurant had nice food and the general store offered very nice bread! We had excellent wildlife sightings from the cabin, including a snake on the steps to the beach and a pod of transient orcas passing through Gillies Bay on the first evening! We also had nice bald-eagle views, including an adult picking up a dead dog shark from the beach (which we inspected the day before at close range) and bringing it to its chick in the nest a few 100 m along the beach (down the road to Shelter park). We will be back in the future!

“Peace and Quiet” This was our second time to the cottage on Quadra Island and we plan on coming here again. We love the peace and quiet and its easily accessablility from Campbell River. Carol is a great hostess who makes us feel very welcome, like she known us for a long time. She made us the most amazing granola and gave us yougurt and fresh farm eggs. The cottage is cozy and warm and has everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

“Right on the beach” I have stayed here often and every time it has been awesome. The hot tub on the front deck is located for privacy and the view is spectacular from inside or out. The cottages are bordered by evergreens on each side of the property, there are only two cottages on the property so booking far in advance is a good idea. A small mall is just a few hundred yards away, with a grocery store, pub and liquor store, drugstore and more

“Perfect Weekend Get-a-Way” This rustic off the grid cottage on Lasqueti Island was perfect for our family get-a-way weekend. Rob met us at the dock, drove us to the cottage (although it was only a 5 minute walk but much appreciated as we had some luggage), and then explained the cottage mechanics. Josephine was attentive and helpful on the phone. Wonderful couple! Charming cottage! Excellent experience! Thank you.

“We'll be back!” If you're looking for someplace with attentiveness to all the details and more, Ele's Escape is it! Pet-friendly was my first clue it would be wonderful. But I had no idea the food would be so spectacular, the guest room filled with unexpected fun and comfort ( think amazing chocolate, homemade cookies, soft robes and lots more...). The bed was soo soft and cozy, the ocean within view and a 1 minute walk and the hosts incredible. Informative, welcoming and fun, they are some of the best we've experienced. “A Great Place to Stay!” When my husband & I were without residence due to our house being sold really quickly and us not being able to find appropriate accommodations, we were lucky enough to stay at the Two Eagles B&B; while continuing to search for new digs. What a fantastic place, and Carolyn & Steve are terrific hosts and friends. The view is wonderful, it's hard to get up to such a great view knowing that it's only temporary. The property is ideal and we felt so completely at home while there. If there is anywhere someone wants to get away too, it should be Two Eagles B&B;, we can't say enough good things about the place and Carolyn & Steve!

“Gorgeous! Looking forward to our next visit.” We stayed here for a week. It was a lovely place for us the stay. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the garden. It is a lovely garden with many paths leading here and there to traverse. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy the view or simply to take a casual stroll though and enjoy the serenity. So first the gardens are wonderful. The amount of work to maintain these is wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with Diana about different aspects of gardening. She gave us a tour all around and we all enjoyed that. The house is older and has lots of charm. The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The one is smaller and just seemed the right size for the little ones. All the bed were very comfortable and had lovely bedding, nice smooth sheets and down duvets. We were all very comfortable at night. The kitchen was great the stove and fridge worked well and there was lots of pots and pans for us to use. There is a BBQ and outdoor grill also available. Great for cooking crabs! The view from the property is breathtaking. Its been a couple weeks now and I still miss sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Such a lovely relaxing place to stay. We look forward to our next trip. Lastly the jewel of the Boxwood Cottage is Diana herself. She is right next door if you need any info but I never felt that she was intrusive. Very quickly I felt like we were visiting an old friend. She is very busy with the gardens and keeping up the property but was always willing to chat with us and even joke a little with the kids. Looking forward to going back again soon!
