“Owner Cares like no others” During the years I've Rented Condo's adjacent to this one, and was a bit surprised that I was emailed to directly contact owner for anything, as other times I would contact an Office that cares for a hand full of rentals in the area and not available after hours. as I walked in I took Pics of a dented Refrigerator door, missing foot pedal to trash can and other minor wear and tear feeling unsecured of what I was getting into. Turns out Temp Ac Control went out making home feel warm for a few hours, I gave time to see if it kicked back in, then called Mattye feeling a bit uncomfortable, but she was apologetic and easy to talk to and assured it will be dealt with the next day and I could tell she was a dedicated to service to her Guest. This is hard to find, a dedicated owner to your Vacation needs, as thoughtful as leaving coupons and attraction Brochures in a basket for us guest and going beyond like including her Netflix for our kids to enjoy, and leaving me a gift for what she thought was an inconvenience, even thought I was not to worried about AC Control anymore after it kicked in. For owners like these to move from Austin to Corpus, and throwing extras shows the thoughtfulness they have for their guest and you should not worry about them doing you wrong. Thx. Mattye and Husband I hope we cleaned up well after ourselves. lol

“4th of July family fun” This is the 3rd. Year we've rented condo from Sonia. We enjoy our stay there. Familiar with surroundings. My 6yr. Old grandson feels right at home he knows which room he & his dad occupy.We are really comfortable there.

“Highly recommend” Great location to the beach. Nice complex and pool. The house was immaculate, stocked well, and the owner was very helpful. Will book again and recommend to my family and friends. This was our first time on flipkey and it was a great experience.

“Nice but crowded.” The view is awesome. Right on the water. Beach very clean. We actually rode our bikes to dinner. Room was nice but a bit crowded even for 2 people. Bedroom needed air freshener. Bring your own pillows. Everything you need is there. My wife and I plan to use again.

“Wonderful place to stay in ROCKPORT for Memorial Day weekend” The condo was so comfortably furnished and clean with all necessary amenities and more...beds were very comfortable and kitchen and bathrooms pleasantly stocked - cooking was very easy. The pier across the street on the bay was so convenient for fishing and the little town was easy to move about with plenty of eateries and of course an HEB and Walmart for shopping for groceries and such. The owner was so gracious and accommodating and the newly tiled bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Wish we could have been there longer - to fish and just relax and enjoy the great views from the balcony. Excellent experience. Hope to stay here in this condo again.

“Relaxing” What you see is what you get. Nice and cozy little place. Not to far of a walk from the beach, really convenient for those with kids

“Excellent accommodations!” Wow! What a wonderful spot. We enjoyed every moment from the pools to the beach! Even the kids enjoyed the game room and movie theater on property. Why stay at a hotel when you can have better accommodations. We will visit again and soon. David

“Great Location and Condo” Great Condo and Location I can't say enough great things about this location and condo, we arrived on Monday and by that afternoon my husband was already wanting to set a date for a return trip. We decided to try to return for the week after Christmas since he's a teacher and the kids will be out of school. 

This location is wonderful for a family, it has a great pool as well as being really close to the beach. My concern was that I wouldn't be able to get my teenagers out of the Condo since they brought the PS3 and each have cellphones. Once we hit the beach they had a wonderful time and we couldn't get them out of the water. The beach was clean and wasn't crowded at all. Perhaps it was the time of year or that it was during the week but it wasn't crowded until Friday and we had been out almost everyday. We also ate at Doc's Local Restaurant which had a very nice view and the food was good. I haven't had guacamole with crab, pretty tasty. Also we went to Port Aransas and took the Red Pirate Ship tour, it had a cute show for little ones or for the "young at heart". We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and will certainly be returning soon. 
You will enjoy your stay at this condo even if it is just for a get away. There wasn't a lot of loud music or noise around the complex either, which I really enjoyed while we were sitting out on the patio having coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. “Enjoyed our stay!” Our family of four stayed here for a little getaway. Conveniently located close to everything and still a pretty good view of the beach. Easy beach access. Condo was clean, no complaints there. Only wish the condo building (villa del sol) took better care of the pool and overall grounds in general.

“certainly was the cherry on top.” We had a fabulous time. House was great. Loved the red neck riviera with our college age kids and friends. Planning to rent both properties next year. The banana split. Much love.

“Family Vacation at Barefoot Dreams” The house was cool, the beds were comfortable and clean. We had four couples and 2 small grandchildren. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space yet all gather in the family room. Location was great as we could walk to kids to the beach.

“Great location, but...” One of the best locations near Port A that I've ever been to. Very private. The property is nice but the downstairs area is really more of a dungeon. It's only accessible from an outside door. It's dark and has no windows. The property wasn't very clean. Beer cans and junk just laying around the house, the interior wasn't very clean and unlike most rentals it wasn't stocked with basic essentials in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great and the internet worked fine albeit rather slow. This house should get 5 stars if they took a little time on fixing a few things (the myriad of french doors leading to the huge back deck are broken and it took a while just to find the one that worked) and clean it better. When we arrived to pick up the keys the young lady who greeted me seemed rather dismissive and not the kind of welcome I usually get when arriving for what is clearly a vacation.

“Great spur of the moment vacation” Oh this was an awesome vacation the room, view ,and amenities were out of this world! The beds were cozy the tub was super huge like a Jacuzzi the view was amazing. The decorating was cute it matched the scenery we LOVED IT. We will be back again and yes I'm referring everyone.

“Island Star really a star” 707 Park Place was a dream site for our extended family reunion. The house was spacious, clean, cool and/or warm as conditions required. My gourmet wife was happy she brought a lot of her own specialty cooking tools, but the appliances performed well. Access to the beautiful beach was easy - by car or on foot via the private boardwalk. While only the young and the brave dared the coolness of the swimming pool in December it was a welcome addition that was well-maintained by weekly visits of a cleaning pro. The hot tub needs a more consistent thermostat and entry and exit is tough on seniors. For golf addicts like me, the nearness of Newport Dunes and the warm professionalism of it's staff was wonderful. As the family came and went via Corpus Christi airport, which proved reasonably convenient, my wife and I spent a month at Island Star. It was a great month!
