“Retama Reteat” We had a wonderful time at this spacious comfortable spot. We had a few issues with lighting & the dishwasher & the owner, Cat was wonderful. A new dishwasher & light were installed in good time. I would definetly recommend this location which is a block from refreshing walks on the beach, shopping, & nearby restaurants.

“Highly recommend” Great location to the beach. Nice complex and pool. The house was immaculate, stocked well, and the owner was very helpful. Will book again and recommend to my family and friends. This was our first time on flipkey and it was a great experience.

“Owner Cares like no others” During the years I've Rented Condo's adjacent to this one, and was a bit surprised that I was emailed to directly contact owner for anything, as other times I would contact an Office that cares for a hand full of rentals in the area and not available after hours. as I walked in I took Pics of a dented Refrigerator door, missing foot pedal to trash can and other minor wear and tear feeling unsecured of what I was getting into. Turns out Temp Ac Control went out making home feel warm for a few hours, I gave time to see if it kicked back in, then called Mattye feeling a bit uncomfortable, but she was apologetic and easy to talk to and assured it will be dealt with the next day and I could tell she was a dedicated to service to her Guest. This is hard to find, a dedicated owner to your Vacation needs, as thoughtful as leaving coupons and attraction Brochures in a basket for us guest and going beyond like including her Netflix for our kids to enjoy, and leaving me a gift for what she thought was an inconvenience, even thought I was not to worried about AC Control anymore after it kicked in. For owners like these to move from Austin to Corpus, and throwing extras shows the thoughtfulness they have for their guest and you should not worry about them doing you wrong. Thx. Mattye and Husband I hope we cleaned up well after ourselves. lol

“4th of July family fun” This is the 3rd. Year we've rented condo from Sonia. We enjoy our stay there. Familiar with surroundings. My 6yr. Old grandson feels right at home he knows which room he & his dad occupy.We are really comfortable there.

“love love loved!!” This was a beautiful and comfortable stay!! The name suits it very well! Not only do you wake to the waves, but to fall asleep to them is even better!! I loved the simple walk to the beach and the convenience of the pool!! I must admit, being able to watch my husband and kids play on the beach while i watched from the bedroom balcony was by far my favorite!! Love love loved it!! Thanks cheryl!! “Just perfect!” I came with my family and we all just LOVED our stay! We enjoyed so much waking up with the view and having the beach right there! We even took advantage of all the toys and beach chairs they had for us! Towels, coffee, toilet paper, shampoo, EVERYTHING! We are IN LOVE and will definitely be returning! Plus super friendly owners! We even forgot something and had to come back to get it and they were so nice to let us in even when we had checked out hours ago! Lovely experience!

“Great location, but...” One of the best locations near Port A that I've ever been to. Very private. The property is nice but the downstairs area is really more of a dungeon. It's only accessible from an outside door. It's dark and has no windows. The property wasn't very clean. Beer cans and junk just laying around the house, the interior wasn't very clean and unlike most rentals it wasn't stocked with basic essentials in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great and the internet worked fine albeit rather slow. This house should get 5 stars if they took a little time on fixing a few things (the myriad of french doors leading to the huge back deck are broken and it took a while just to find the one that worked) and clean it better. When we arrived to pick up the keys the young lady who greeted me seemed rather dismissive and not the kind of welcome I usually get when arriving for what is clearly a vacation.
