“Lovely Condo & Great Location & Attentive Service” I researched many condos on-line with the help of Flip Key and Travel advisor. I finally chose Miramar 404 because it was north of town, away from the cruisers & town bustle, but close enough to walk and bike to each day if I wanted. Matias and Isabel are very organized and helpful. They can arrange anything you might want to do. However I suggest you research the tours and the snorkeling before making arrangements. Matias and Isabel welcomed us with flowers! We loved the many conveniences of the condo--4 balconies!! 2 to watch the sunrise and 2 to watch it set. The a/C units were great when the humidity rose. All the appliances worked and my only complaint would be cooking utensils--spatulas, nicer pans, a peeler were lacking. The food is plentiful and reasonable in Cozumel so I suggest getting out to explore! The Lobster House was a great treat and The Playa azul Beach Club has great Shrimp Tostadas and piña coladas. We were comfortable and had no problems walking to town, or biking around the island. Best Tip: "Room Service" You call - they bring--you pay. Very reasonable and so convenient. Thank you Isabel, Matias, Vanesa & all the rest for a great vacation that I will never forget!

“Great condo, home away from home” This was my second time staying at the Miramar condo. This time I was with my 20 year old daughter, and we had a great time. I like to dive, and she is not a diver. This place has a really nice pool overlooking the ocean, along with a walk down to the water, and a diving platform. I'd go diving in the mornings, and she'd hang out by the pool, perfect! The condo has a small number of units so it's not busy at the pool and most of the time she had the pool to herself. The water is on a rocky shoreline which is great for a little bit of snorkelling in the afternoon. The condo was sparkling clean, like new condition, comfortable, quite large, strong A/C,and fully equipped. We went to Mega to stock up on snacks and breakfast and lunch staples, and would go out for dinner every day. It's a $6.00 USD cab ride to or from town. We'd just walk outside and wait between 1 and 5 minutes, there are lots of cabs running back and forth so we'd never have to wait long at all. It was really large for just the two of us and would comfortably accommodate a larger group. Our suite was at ground level which was really nice to be able to walk out the patio doors to the pool deck. We were greeted upon arrival, and the management staff were eager and pleased to help us get acquainted. The on site staff, maintenance and housekeeping, were very accommodating, polite, and happy. We were greeted again upon our departure, management making sure we were on track to catch our flight, and accommodate us for a little bit of a late check out. Overall it was a great holiday and our accommodations were top notch.

“Beautiful spot. Great scenery and amenities.” My husband and I stayed in Miramar 202 for a week, from January 10 to the 17, 2015. The condo was very comfortable and the scenery was spectacular. We watched cruise ships pass twice a day from the balcony and enjoyed meals and drinks on the patio, watching the sun set. With the condo being so small, we often had the pool to ourselves, but did enjoy visiting with other guests when we bumped in to them. We especially liked the stairs down to the ocean to snorkel and saw a large variety of colourful fish, right there in front of the condo. From the beginning, our dealings with the property manager, Geraldine, was very good. Booking was easily done and our questions answered quickly. She even helped us to book a private island tour. The staff at the condo was great too. The maintenance people looked after the condo and area well and were quick to sort out any small problems that we had. Cleaning was well done and taken care of quickly. Having a washer and drier was a real bonus. It would have been nice to have a supermarket a bit closer, but taxis were easy to get out on the street and the fares were reasonable. Even had one taxi driver who waited for us to do our shopping and didn't charge extra for the service. We would not hesitate to rent at the Miramar condos, if we return to Cozumel.

“An amazing week” This vacation exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect. The location, on the northern end of the island, was very quiet (and safe), the property was in pristine condition and well-maintained. The staff was attentive and polite, the every-other-day maid service (Olivia) was wonderful and made the stay even more enjoyable. We were greeted by Matias and after a quick walk-through we were left to enjoy the beginning our our week-long vacation. The condo was clean, fully equipped and we even had a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers on the dining room table. Our worry about drinking the water was eased when we found a large purified water fountain. We used it all week to brush our teeth, make coffee and ice cubes and never had any issues. The pool was beautiful and very refreshing and the snorkeling in front of the property was wonderful. Miramar is close enough to San Miguel to get there quickly, but far enough to not be part of the hustle and bustle. Had nice dinners at Del Sol (Argentinian) and Guido's (Italian). Another recommended restaurant was Bucchanos, but they are only open Friday's and Saturday's and require prior reservation. Enjoyed Palanca Beach (no admittance fee, $ 10 per umbrella and two comfortable lounges) and Paradise Beach ($ 3 admittance fee and an optional $ 14 per person for the usage of the water slides/paddle boards/kayaks/trampoline etc). It is on first-come, first-serve basis and they will make you pay, even if all chairs are taken. We have found that most beaches will be a lot less crowded after 2PM when most cruise-ship passengers are heading back to the piers, but they do close around 5PM for the day. Paradise Beach is free on Sundays, so make that your first stop. We drove around the island to see what the Eastern beaches looked like and on that particular day it was too rough to swim/snorkel there. I personally was not impressed by the ruins (San Gervasio) and thought that $ 10 per person was a bit steep. Matias/Geraldine/Isabella answered any question we might have had promptly and the fact that this is a small condo complex (12 unites?) made it feel more intimate and not a hotel-type setting. Two very minor things that we would have liked to see would be a dishwasher (but the kitchen might be to small for that) and darker shades in the bedrooms. While we love the sunshine, the vertical blinds to let too much light in starting at 5:30AM. These are just personal preferences and would not deter us from coming back. Overall it was an amazing week and we would highly recommend Miramar 401!

“Beautiful Condo with beautiful views!” This condo was perfect for our group of two adults and 4 teens. The location is awesome and it is really easy to get around. There was never a crowded feeling that you can get at a busy resort. The leasing staff was on top of all of our request and very friendly. There was never any noise at night or worry of security. The pool and rooms were kept very clean. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting a nice, relaxing vacation in Cozumel!

“Perfect!” We spent a week at Monarch by the Sea and loved it! Our condo was absolutely gorgeous, unbelievably spacious and right on the beach. We had beautiful views from our 2 huge balconies and spent a lot of time on the roof at night. The photos of Monarch do not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised! One of the best things about Residencias Reef is their beach. It is huge and has plenty of beach chairs for lounging. But it is not crowded like some of the other beaches in that area. Also, we were within walking distance to Carlos & Charlies, and also right next door to a dock for snorkeling and parasailing excursions. The condo had everything we needed - a complete kitchen, satellite TV, Ipod Speaker, washer & dryer, AC outlets so no converters were necessary, and plenty of towels. Residencias Reef is a beautiful area with a snorkeling reef right off the beach. Very convenient. The condo is gated and we felt extremely safe. I would totally recommend Monarch by the Sea and Residencias Reef to our family and friends. Margaret at Enjoy Cozumel was great to work with - made it so easy for us to reserve the condo and provided a ton of information that made our trip much more relaxing and fun. We are already thinking about our next trip to Cozumel and will definitely be staying at Monarch by the Sea.

“Exceeded our Expectations” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Julie (8210). This condo was beautifully decorated, quiet, clean and well-managed. Having the washer and dryer available in the condo was very convenient and will make for lighter packing when we return. My husband and I got scuba certified during this visit to Cozumel and the pier which is just a short walk to the beach away was great as the scuba company would pick and drop us off right there saving taxi fair into town. The furnishings, including the king-size bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary for preparing meals. Security as you enter the complex are very professional and friendly. Both the living area and bedroom have a/C but we never used it... we enjoyed the cross breeze from the sliding glass door and bedroom window being left open.

“Very nice accomodations and location!” Our condo was larger than I thought from the pictures, which is always a nice beginning to your trip! It was comfortably furnished with easy access to the pools and beach, right into the jungle courtyard. We really liked our location which is a bit away from town, you must have a rental car or pay $20.00 per taxi ride, ends up to cost more than a rental, FYI. Cozumel is a very inviting Island, just beautiful. Our only complaint regarding the condo were the beds, they really need to be replaced, especially the sofa sleeper, I read an earlier review with the same complaint, so it would be great if the owner would take note. Residencias is an overall nice place!

“Paradise” We came to Cozumel for the Ironman Competition so we stayed the first 4 days in the city close to the race happenings. It was a busy 4 days. Then off to the peace and quiet of Residencia Reef. We walked in the door of Casita Del Mar and immediately felt relaxed, dropped our bags, cracked open a bottle of wine and watched the sun set right from our beachside patio. The room décor was calming and professional. They have thought of everything, abundant bath and beach towels, beach floaties, phone, internet, tv, there were even a few staple foods in the frig/cupboard to make cooking breakfasts easy. The kitchen is a small galley kitchen with a 2 top portable burner, micro, toaster oven, toaster, blender, quality, dishes, pans and utensils. We made breakfast and lunch/happy hour daily and went out for dinner. We found no restaurants within walking distance from the condo except the all-inclusive resorts which offer day passes. We took a taxi to town nightly (150 peso each way) Great food at Kendesa, La Hach, Gusto, The Money Bar. Best Dive shop is Deep Exposure, Rodger gave us personal attention in a small group and a nice boat. Saw everything, sea turtles, eagle rays, eels, lobsters, crabs, and more varieties of fishes and corals then I could count. We snorkeled right outside the condo for hours and saw so much, the highlights were the flounder, and rays. Another guest said she saw a seahorse! The staff at Residencia Reef were very accommodating and friendly. We booked our condos, car rental and photo tour with Pawel and Margaret. They were very helpful!

“Miramar 403 was very nice!” The staff at Cozumel Seaside Retreats go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. Mariana was very helpful and answered our emails promptly. Matias ensured that our condo was in perfect order, and even gave us a ride to the Mega for groceries the morning after our late arrival. He was kind enough to post a letter to a friend in Merida for us and emailed a photo of the letter for confirmation it had been sent. Mariana also arranged our rental car and Matias arranged our dives with Tres Hermanus. We had a great view of the ocean from our bedroom and great views of the sunset. The condo was nicely equipped and a short ride or 20 minute walk to town.

“Great Return Visit to Condominios Miramar” Our fourth consecutive annual visit to Condominios Miramar on the island of Cozumel was consistent with the previous three -- outstanding! We've stayed in three different units in this very small condo complex and while they all vary in design -- from studio one bedrooms to units with more than one level and/or 2-3 bedrooms -- they've all been great. The location is north of the town of San Miguel, a 45-minute or so leisurely walk to the town center. The Miramar condos are spacious, clean, well-maintained and views of the ocean are spectacular. Miramar #201 is perfect for two adults. It's one level with entrance at street level in front and on the second level in back on the ocean side, offering good views of the pool and ocean, with some privacy, too. We eat dinner in town most nights, so we don't use the stove and oven in Miramar #201 much (though have in the past and found the oven instructions to be hard to follow, a minor downside for us but would be helpful for visitors who cook in the condo more often). Note: If you take a taxi to Miramar from town, it's good to let the driver know when you're getting close to the building (English ok, in Spanish even better!). We found many taxi drivers know the bigger properties nearby, but Miramar is new to them. Scuba divers have options with boats that depart from nearby piers or from the marina about 10- to 15-minute walk south. We've dived with AlexScuba (departs from marina, bigger boats) and Pepe Scuba (based in the hotel Coral Princess, small, faster boats) and both were great. And snorkeling just off of the property is convenient and surprisingly good. As always, the hard-working, very friendly housekeeping and property management staff add to the comfort and pleasant experience. We've advised previously that if you stay in any of the condos at Miramar, please be generous with tipping the maids and the maintenance crew. They work so hard and deserve the extra "gracias."

“LOVE THE VIEW” My friends and I stayed at this condo for 2 weeks. The location is great and the view is amazing. We could snorkel and swim off the pier. For the most part the water was calm and the fish plentiful (the bad storm up north affected the weather a few days). It was easy to book and the owners were very prompt in their replies. We got to meet the owners on our arrival and they gave us loads of information about the island, places to see, things to do, where to eat etc. Having travelled to Mexico and rented condo's several times, in Puerto Vallarta, I was impressed with how quiet it was here. No barking dogs, no roosters. We had to contact Yasmin, the property manager, a few times and she was prompt and helpful. All in all a great holiday.
