“Fantastic place to recharge” In short this is just a wonderful place to visit and stay and was worth the 7 hour trip from Silver Spring MD. Other reviews have said better then I could how lovely this place is. I'll just try to add on by noting a small things about the TV and internet that I noticed wasn't mentioned much by others. The picture shows there is a TV but its a bit dated in that it is no longer a big butt TV but a good sized flat screen with HDMI outputs. So if your young and tech savy like we are and like to play your movies off your laptop/hard drive then it is completely possible. However, Bill has a great collection of DVDs with a wide range from light-hearted comedies to Oscar worthy dramas and thus we just ended up take advantage of his selections after relaxing in the hot tub and pouring a glass of wine at sunset. (the mountain view is unbeatable) No wireless but I was able to check work emails on my phone the one time I checked just in case something required my attention. Definitely not an area where streaming videos is seamless but for me disconnecting from the internet was a big appeal to me anyways and think you would find it is too.

“Wonderful experience” Our family gathered for a four day Christmas vacation at Quiet Splendor. We had a wonderful time. The house was equipped with everything we needed and so much more. So cozy and inviting with glorious views of sunrises and sunsets. We look forward to returning.
