“Magical Dingle Stay” My group and I were so well looked after at Garvey's cottage. Joan is a wealth of information, a wonderful cook, and a very generous soul. The cottage has wonderful ocean views with a short walk to the cliffs, and is perfectly located for other scenic tours/pilgrimages in and around Dingle. Dingle is truly a magical place with phenomenal sights, walks, and people. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here if they wish to experience something of the old and true Ireland. I miss Dingle and look forward to another visit.

“Wonderful location” We were three adults enjoying a short break in the Dingle Peninsula. Brandon Mountain Cottage was very comfortable and spotless throughout. Great attention to detail here. The kitchen was well fitted out and lots of throws and rugs ensured we were comfy on chilly evenings. The views from the house of Brandon Bay and the mountains beyond were spectacular. A lovely walk to the beach as well as a vigorous climb to the summit of nearby Mount Brandon, added to the joy of our stay. Linda was very helpful and made us feel very much at home.

“The most beautiful location and fabulous cottage I've stayed in” First of all, Philomena O'Connor, the hostess keeps a very clean, well-appointed, and beautiful cottage. I've stayed there many times. To me a sign of a good place is the repeat business and she has a lot of repeats. The home was lovely, very Irish in its decor. Enough rooms to be comfortable but not to be lost in. Philomena always makes the place look welcoming on arrival: a fire laid; heat turned on; fresh flowers; and usually something new since my last visit. I love being inside looking out on a gorgeous view of the fields running to the sea with islands off the shore. Being out of doors is wonderful too for there are roads to walk, hills to hike, wild flowers to see along with farm animals, and fresh, excellent air washed by 3000 miles of ocean before reaching me.

“Arriving Home at Didean in Dingle” I recently stayed for a week with five friends in this comfortable and accommodating house in Dingle, Ireland. It is located within sight of the sea and is surrounded by a beautiful landscape with easy walks just outside the front door. The house supported the six of us with ease. It has a well-supplied kitchen that allowed us to cook gourmet meals and to serve them in a nice dining area with gorgeous views through large window walls. The house is big enough for a much larger group. Each couple in our group chose a room with ensuite bathroom. Activities in other parts of the house are nicely segregated from the bedrooms and everyone got a good night’s sleep. The place is marvelously quiet. We would definitely stay at this location again when we visit the Dingle peninsula.

“A really lovely holiday home” In fact, this year was the second time we stayed at Brendans for our summer holiday. Brendans cottage is a charming, traditional place to explore Valentia and the Kerry coast. The small garden is perfect to relax, the way down to the strand is just a couple of meters. The cottage has all facilities needed - the kitchen is well equipped. Brendans cottage has a very friendly owner who did all to make our stay comfortable.

“Fabulous property in a beautiful location.” This was a holiday to remember. What a fabulous property in a lovely area with shops, garage, pubs and restaurant nearby and a beautiful beach in Glenbeigh, which we walked to on our first day there. The house had everything you would want and was very tastefully decorated. It was lovely to see photos of how the house had been built with details of the family and the wedding in Italy. We liked the peace and quiet, the beautiful scenery and the location, which enabled us to access the Ring of Kerry. The Irish people, as I have experienced before, are lovely people and make you feel very welcome. The service from Sykes Cottages was excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable holiday. Wish we were still there.

Ceol Na Mara Ventry Dingle Co Kerry
An excellent family friendly place to stay near Dingle

Ceol Na Mara is newly refurbished We found it to be very clean, modern and spacious. It's in a quiet peaceful position, but within easy reach of Dingle with its supermarkets, shopping bars and nightlife. Ideal for families with good sized bedrooms and a lawned area outside. A DVD and Wii for quiet/wet days and a wood stove for nights in. Things we did nearby included: Walks on Ventry Beach, a long sandy beach. The Blasket Island Visitors Centre, (just beyond Slea Head), is very interesting and well laid out within a beautiful building, plus the amazing Galrus oratory. With good weather, footwear and moderate fitness, Mount Eagle nearby was a steep climb rewarded by spectacular views across the peninsular and out into the atlantic. We also did a fishing trip out from Dingle which is a good opportunity to view the spectacular coastline, plus fresh fish for supper! Highly Recommended as a great place to stay in west Kerrysee more
No. 3 Suantra cottages
Cozy cottage stay

Staying at Suantra Cottages is an amazing way to explore the Dingle Peninsula. Not only is the cottage in a beautiful setting to easy access, but it is well stocked. We had stayed at some other cottage/apartment places during our stay that were lacking in most kitchen utensils and cooking pots/pans. We found everything we needed already in the kitchen when we arrived. Also, Phil is an amazing landlady. She forgot to leave us some firewood and peat, but she came over, taught us how to build a good fire and we had a grand conversation with her. If you plan on staying on the peninsula for more than two days, definitely try Suantra Cottages.see more
Garveys Holiday Cottage
A wonderful place to stay in

Garveys Holiday Cottage is a great place to stay in for a company of travellers, especially if you are interested in active tourism. The cottage has a central position in the gaeltacht, so that the distances from Dingle and from Dunquin are practically equal. It's absolutely ideal if you travel by car or by bike. If not, you just have to call a taxi from Dingle, where buses arrive. As a matter of fact, there's a shop in Ventry village, and that's very close. There are quite a lot of things to do around: boat trips to the Blasket islands, horse riding, trekking, wind surfing, even swimming, which is allowed in special places (in case you don't mind the temperature). If you are interested in Early Irish history, there are lots of sights around and also a small museum in some 100 metres. Anyway, you can get a full account of activities in the cottage. The cottage itself is tidy and has all the amenities one may need (including washing machine and dishwasher) - I don't rememder lacking something for the kitchen and the bathrooms were fully eqipped. And, last but not least, the hosts - Mr. and Mrs. Garvey - are very friendly and always ready to help if their help is needed. Those two weeks that my friends and I stayed there were a wonderful time, really!see more
Stunning Luxury Beachside Home with Spectacular Views of Ocean and Dingle Bay!
Perfect getaway in rural beautiful Ireland

This home is beautifully fitted in bedrooms, kitchen and bath with lots of room and wonderful feeling. I loved looking out at the field of sheep as I worked in the kitchen and it was so handy to have a full kitchen for meals with family and friends. In addition, it is a short drive from the town of Dingle and we enjoyed pubs, restaurants and shopping there, but really enjoyed the peace and quiet of "our home" in the country. Great walks, the ocean is visible from the house and only a few minutes walk to be on a secluded beautiful beach. I recommend it highly.see more
