“Peace & Quite” Hello!!! Friends me and my husband visited this location and stayed 4 days, It was very nice the location peace and quite if that what you are looking for. The only thing that the apartment does not have is a microwave, coffee maker, matches to turn on stove, no rag no detergent to wash dishes. These things are the main things to have in a kitchen especially detergent or a simple rag or matches. The beach is like 5 min away in taxi 10min or 15min walking distance, Over all the area is very nice and the apartment is nice you just need to be prepared for this apartment especially if you are a coffee drinker. The only thing I left was the matches everything else you need to buy lol. Thanks Simone nice place to stay and nice people.

“Apartment en Corales del Sur” Very clean and save apartment complex with a good floorplan. There you`ve got all what you need for a good time in Santo Domingo. The property manager, Donald Sanchez, is very supporting, always available and well organized. A good guy with a good sense of humor. The whole family is very welcoming. If you don`t want to stay too central or directly at the beach this property complex is recommendable to most people.

“Excellent” A perfect stay. The apartament is big, new, complete. The contest of Metro Country Club in Juan Dolio is made for people who want excellence, tranquillity and best security being in a green oasis at two minute from best beaches of Juan Dolio, Marbella, Guayacanes. The apartment are close to the door n. 2 of Metro Country Club so taking a 100 pesos cost motor you Can go to the city center and to the beach and don't need a own car or a taxi. I suggest to rent an apartment in Metro Country Club an i suggest this apartment.

“We called it Paradise!” The place was AMAZING. The pictures online are awesome; the place in real life is breathtaking. The house is small. Two tiny bedrooms, one with a full(?) sized bed in it and the other with two twins. There's a little living room with a futon. A small bathroom inside and then the gorgeous outdoor bathroom attached to the master bedroom. I've never been in an outdoor bathroom before but it was crazy cool...especially at night when you light the candles! The house itself is very tastefully decorated. It has a beachy/nautical theme, but not gaudy, just perfect. Don't worry about the smallness of the house, though, because you seriously won't spend any time inside. The whole property is designed for the guests to be outside. We spent a ton of time on the blue outdoor couches, watching our 5 year old in the pool with the ocean in the background and listening to the waves or the music from the sonos system (an awesome touch!). Hilda, Euris and Papo are great. Hilda makes the best food and even taught me how to make flan (I recommend asking her to make that). Euris is so easy to be around. He drove us to the Parque Nacional Jaragua. My husband, who speaks Spanish, learned a lot about the area from him. They got along great! Papo kept the pool clean for our daughter and even tolerated her "helping" him. He spends a lot of time keeping the grounds looking so great. And his bonfires are the biggest we'd ever seen. We like our privacy and we're a little worried about having staff around all the time, but all three were so friendly and unobtrusive that it felt like a true paradise. When we booked the house we had planned for it to be just me, my husband and our daughter. Our in-laws were with us for the first part of our vacation and then we had planned to split up for our stay at Las Guayacanes but due to some miscommunication, they were without a place to stay for the first night. We invited them to stay with us until their place in Santo Domingo was ready. They ended up staying two nights (even though they were paying for a hotel room in the capital) because the property was so great. Euris drove them into the city when they were ready to leave. A few days later we decided to drive into the city to visit with them and invited them back to paradise for our last two nights . Again they agreed whilst still having to pay for their hotel room in the city(again). That's how great the place is!!! Also Edmundo is a great host. He responses are very quick and he'll readily answer any questions you have. He's done a great job with the rental. It's fantastic.

“Lovely stay!” We really enjoyed our stay at Danièle's Flat! Lovely was the "patio" (inner yard) where you can spend some time to relax and eat. The house was really clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. The location is in the middle of the city so it's nice if you want to have contact with local people but it takes 5' to the beach by car. Neighbors like to listen loud music sometimes ;) Nice neighborhood and not too far from the beach and everything we needed to go to. There's a small supermarket right around the corner to buy the daily needed stuff but for food we recommend to go the big supermarket called "Sirena." If you're not able to rent a car you can take one of the many "motoconchistas" which are mototaxi's but for long distances we recommend to rent a taxi. The average price to go to the beach in Puerto Plata is between 25-30 Pesos (ap.1USD p.p.). Taxi is more expensive! Nice to visit: - Pico Isabel de Torres - Old town - Beach (our favorite: "Costambar") - Damajaqua Cascades (27 Waterfalls) - Cabarete (Windsurfing, nice beach, kitesurfing) - Encuentro (Surfing) - We also made some chocolate (ask the owner for further information) Since the owner is also from Switzerland it almost felt like home.
