“Great Value” Roomy, comfortable and well-appointed accommodation in a chocolate-box English village setting. I was really impressed by the facilities and equipment available. There are plenty of touristy places to visit within reasonable driving distance. The house has plenty of room and is very well-priced, especially for a large group - a club break, family reunion holiday, retreat etc. The wood-burning stove and stock of games and books make it an enjoyable place to stay even on a cold wet day.

A most enjoyable stay!

Quiet location and had everything I needed for my stay. A delicious cake and half a dozen fresh eggs awaited my arrival, which was most welcome as my granddaughters were staying in Gribbles for the weekend. They loved the shepherd's hut! Cath and Nick were welcoming and most helpful but never intrusive. It is perfectly situated for Dedham Vale which I had intended to explore with my dog but the extremely hot weather prevented us going out during the day and instead we set off for our walks very early in the morning. Beautiful surrounding countryside.see more

Grange Cottage
Lovely cottage - also dog friendly

We were five adults plus a dog and stayed for three days with perfect autumn weather. The cottage was cosy and nice and very well equipped. One of the double bedrooms upstairs (to the right) could definitely do with replacing the bed, it was a spring bed where the springs were worn out and had been "fixed" with plankes. Every time the couple staying there turned around it squeaked. Nice surroundings along a lovely lane with free-range chickens in a big field. Also lovely walled garden part of the cottage. We did have a great stay and would recommend the place to friends.see more
