“Wonderful experience!” We loved our stay at the Forest and Surf Villa. The house is an architectural gem - very open, beautiful wood, gorgeous views of the ocean. We spent most of our time on the porch swing. We traveled with an infant (5.5 months), toddler (2.5 years) and four adults (including two seniors) and it all went so well. A gorgeous, quiet beach is a short drive from the villa. We heard lots of monkeys, but they were never a nuisance. The beds are comfy, there is a washer and dryer and the place comes with two surf boards and yoga mats. It also stays fairly cool there - compared to the beach. We were never bothered by mosquitoes. Things to know: the drive down to Sjds is long-ish and bumpy, so get supplies in advance. It is very helpful to bring a flash light or headlamp for when you get back after dark, although the paths to the villa are well lit. We didn't have hot water or wireless for the first two days, but it was then fixed (probably would have been fixed sooner, but it was Christmas). The lighting in the kitchen is unpleasant and the kitchen needs more glasses and bowls and a big cutting board. These are all small things, though - we loved our time there.

“Private paradise!” I had the opportunity to travel to Utila, Honduras and stayed at La Mayur. The house is newly built, and has a lot to offer, from the spacious area with a wrap around deck that gives a gorgeous view of the island, surrounded by lush, tropical plants, and being able to have a lot of peace and quiet, and privacy! The location is great because it's about an 8 minute walk to the main road. The island itself is not big, so even if you don't want to walk, a tuk-tuk can take you anywhere for about 18 lempira ($1)! At the house my favourite place to sit was the swing outside on the tree, while hearing the soothing sounds of the water stream going into the pond. The house has a lot of room for entertaining, with a spacious kitchen. Perhaps the best part of the trip was getting a chance to meet a lot of the locals in an island that has tourists, but keeps its authenticity. The people are really friendly, and you can find yourself making conversation with the waitress in the restaurant, the the souveneir shops, and just about anywhere else! Looking forward to returning!

“Morales Family” Our stay at Daphne's condo was comfortable, pleasant, and memorable! The condo is nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The location offers quick access to pool area and beautiful scenic view from balcony. The Conchal Resort offers excellent shuttle service to all areas within resort property and staff is very friendly. Daphne was very helpful in providing information and travel tips. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next year. Thank you Daphne!

“Fantastic family retreat!” Amazing amenities, very helpful RPM staff who arranged all sorts of fun activities including horseback riding. The home is beyond comfortable. Setting is a gorgeous courtyard with beautifully maintained gardens and fountains. Two very plush master suites as well as a fun kids room with plenty of beds and their own full bathroom. Private pool was perfect after a hot day at the beach to play in while adults cooked dinner in the well appointed kitchen within direct sight lines of the pool so no safety worries. Rooftop hot tub was the romantic night time getaway for mom and dad after kids were in bed. We are already scheming on how to get our family back there soon!

“Great Place, Great People” Rpm was great. Answered all questions and was very accommodating. I highly recommend their services. The place was great! The unit itself, not on the ocean, but the complex is and is an easy walk through the complex to the beach! It is a nice quiet area in Langosta, but close to all of the restaurants and activities in Tamarindo. All in all, great stay!

“This was the most beautiful place I've stayed!” Driving up the steep pothole ridden road to Colina del Mar, I was beginning to have some doubts as to our stay. But as soon as we arrived, Andy and Cynthia were waiting for us with a gorgeous panoramic view of the ocean and the river behind them. All the fatigue from the travel seemed to fall away as we enjoyed the peaceful beautiful views on an outdoor comfortably furnished covered patio. The house, or cottages, are beautifully and simply decorated. Everything was clean. We were celebrating my 40th birthday with my kids and extended family aging in range from 8 to 72 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. There was enough privacy where we all had our own space and plenty of room in the outdoors to enjoy each others company. I highly recommend it.

“A superb condo rental experience in every way.” Terrific location for spacious and extremely comfortable condo on the shoreline. The pool and sunset views were superb. The security people were top-notch. I also recommend the giant auto Mercado supermarket just east of Tamarindo for all grocery and liquor shopping (just like the best markets in the us). Also try the Thursday 9a.m. Farmers' Market in Villareal for fresh fruit and veges at great prices... it's open-air on the side of the road about 200 yards to the right as you get to the firk in the road of Villareal. As to worthwhile lunch and dining, we strongly suggest the sushi at Bamboo Sushi in Tamarindo and the excellent food and drinks for lunches and dinners at the Longosta Beach Club (about a half-mile north of the condo). Both places were the highlights of our lunches and dinners (with live music on Friday nights at the LBC). A "must see" is avellanos Beach for surfing and lunch at Lola's...it's about 25 minutes drive from town, and very easy to find. This was our 5th trip to Tamarindo, and by far the best, thanks to Rick, Sandy, Lola, and Julie at RPM Services. You need not look anywhere else.

“Beautiful apartment” We stayed at this apartment over New Years and it is beautiful, clean and everything in it was good quality. It is just steps to the beach. It is on the second (top) floor of one of the buildings of the small condo comunity and has a nice view of the ocean that is a little blocked by some of the other buildings. The condos have a shared pool that has some shade during the day. The kitchen is well equipped. The a/C works very well and you can tell the owners like to use this place because it has a very nice homey feeling to it. The management office staff is very helpfull (specially Lola) with recommendations to restaurants and activities. This apartment has everything you need and more. We would love to come back.
