“Nice place to get away from the hectic city.” Quiet and secluded it was a good fit for me, a couple, their toddler and two small dogs. Property its a good size for a small walk in the woods. Storms have pushed the creek away from the back of the house and it's small and not showing any fish, so wasn't able to fish on the property. I'd advise getting your fishing license before you get there. The house was clean and well kept. The frig had a fair amount of condiments in them, so check the frig before you head to town to buy anything. There were enough pots and pans to cook, but we were glad we brought two cooking knives with us. The gas grill on the deck was OUTSTANDING! I give that grill 5 stars. Quiet with a great view of the stars. We took advantage of the fire pit and picnicked while cooking hot dogs over the open fire. The wifi was intermittent, which can be a good thing if you're looking to truly get away and relax.

“A Little Taste of The Country” The property was exactly as described. When we did arrive John was available to "check us" into the house and show us some of the features. Veronica and John have paid close attention to every detail. A group of four of use stayed in June to attend the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain. The drive to the mountain was very accessible. Since we up there for the weekend for the festival, we did not have much time to explore the surrounding area. We did have dinner at SPORTSMAN’S ALAMO CANTINA right on main street. Great Mexican food and huge portions. It was a nice weekend away and the hospitality was impeccable!

“Love it--would return again!” Jeffrey was very friendly, accommodating, helpful and professional as we were booking the cabin. Cabin was beautifully furnished and large enough to fit 8 of us. 5 min drive to Hunter Mountain. Very cozy and comfortable--loved it and would love to return again sometime in the future!

“Awesome Columbus Weekend” Myself and 4 friends stayed here for a long Columbus Day weekend. This place is just what we needed. We are all from NYC so the location was extermely convenient for us. The Catskills are just a short drive from the city...well worth the drive. The house was great. Very clean, spaceous, and accommodating. It is located very close to the town of Saugerties and close to Woodstock and Hunter Mtn. The owners are very helpful and generous. I highly recommend this house.

“Great Owner to Work With” I didn't get to stay in the house because of schedule conflicts but I still would like to highly recommend the owner. I sent her inquiries about the place and she gave me instant response and she was willing to work with my budget and arrange so many nice things for me to enjoy the house. She is a very kind person to work with and she is so patient and understanding ( I had a large group to work with and each one of my friend had a different idea). I trusted her from the second she contacted me and would very much stay here in the near future.

“Relaxing mountain retreat” We enjoyed a very pleasant Thanksgiving week getaway at the cabin, which looks just like the pictures -- nice combination of modern and rustic design. Also very comfortable, clean and well organized. Tv and sound system very high tech. Somehow we did something wrong with the remotes and lost the tv connection, but Raymond was extremely patient troubleshooting over the phone. Kitchen is nicely equipped. Bathrooms, full upstairs and half downstairs (not pictured), were standard but fine. The views of the woods from the many windows were really pretty, especially in the snow. It was a bit of an adventure driving up the somewhat steep mountain road. Definitely need 4wd in bad weather, so car rental was a little expensive. Overall, we had a lovely stay and hope to have a chance to come back in the summer.

“Simply the best!” Before we even explored the beautiful house and the perfect location, we thought 'We are home'. This wonderful property is possibly the nicest, most pristine clean and convenient house we've had the pleasure to stay in. It is wonderfully furnished, comfortable and has everything you could want for a perfect vacation. This is not your standard 'rental'. This is a fantastic home and we had an incredible time. The area is perfect. We biked, we hiked, we shopped and we cooked in the wonderful kitchen and then we relaxed in the hot tub. The setting is idyllic. I have never slept so well in my life. There are not enough adjectives to fully describe how great our stay was. I can only say we will be back again and again and it was, in a word, inspiring. Thank you, Mirav, for thinking of absolutely everything and presenting it to us for our vacation.
