“Excellent, a taste of real France and completely unique!” Just in case you are thinking of paying a visit to Bayeux, be it for the Tapestry or the World War Two landings beaches, we can definately recommend Manoir Saint Hubert on the outskirts of Bayeux. Be prepared for an unbelievable encounter with a majestic house filled with 15th century furniture and an overall grand appearance. Absolutely well maintained and clean, en suite facilities in a quiet area. Wake up in the morning to the nearby Church bell and excellent breakfast served at a long dining table that would have suited a King. Indeed the lady who serves it is a descendant of one of William of Orange's Knights and if you ask she will surely show you an ancient family tree to prove it! Only a short walk into the town centre are Bayeux's Cathedral and many restaurants and it is just a short drive to see the Bayeux Tapestry or the beaches. We found this place fascinating and thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay.

“La Mirande "A real piece of France"” La Mirande situated on the foot hills on the west side of the Rhone valley will provide an opportunity to see and enjoy parts of France not usually part of a travellers itinerary. The accommodation La Mirande, is quite unique and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the food and service which is of a personal nature. The ability of being able to use la Mirande as a base provides the opportunity to use Gary's intermit knowledge of the region to visit a much wider areas of this part of France with day excursions from Lyon to the Mediterranean

“Excellent place to relax” Very clean and wonderful apartment. Super nicely presented. It´s on a quiet place on earth. Also well equipped for a baby - babybed no problem. The owners were exceptionally helpful - the provided information about local activities, food and drink. Near distance to the beach and to a super nice restaurant. Would definitely go there again.

“Great, newly started B&B; in the heart of Montsegur” We were a party of 8 that stayed 4 nights in the Le Pèlerin in Montségur, and had a great time. Le Pèlerin is located in two old stone buildings inside the village and is completely renovated on the inside with very nice and comfortable rooms (only 4 rooms total) as well as a living room at the guests' disposal, all at a very reasonable price. This B&B; offers fantastic surroundings, a great breakfast and a very friendly host couple that was very forthcoming and helpful with tips and planning of excursions and dinners. Our stay included trips to Mirapoix and Carcassone, rafting at the river in Foix, a great hike to the two peaks up the vally (2348 and 2364 meter high), a visit to the ruins and great dinners at La Patate Fumé and the L'Auberge Montségur. We can highly recommend both the place and the B&B;.

“Wonderful experience in Tuscany.” We found Casa Diletta a beautiful and comfortable place to stay while exploring Tuscany. We were in the Tessa apartment. A very spacious, modern and well decorated suite. The apartment had an adjoining terrace (with a nice view of the surrounding hills) for sitting and/or eating. The kitchen was very adequate - it lacked only an oven. The bathroom was roomy, modern and there was plenty of hot water - even for americans. Tiziana (the owner) is very gracious and knowledgeable. She is very pleasant person and was a great help with our numerous questions about restaurants, trains, etc. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. We hope to return for another in the not too distant future.
