“Great private getaway!” Came for a relaxing weekend away from the kids, and that's just what we got! Cabin was immaculate and looked great. Loved the wrap around porch and rocking chairs! The ammenities were very appreciated and added to the experience. Lots of privacy with the secluded location and plenty of trees around. There weren't any leaves on the trees and you still couldn't see any neighboring houses. We're already making plans to return to this cabin next year!

“Wonderful experience” Our family gathered for a four day Christmas vacation at Quiet Splendor. We had a wonderful time. The house was equipped with everything we needed and so much more. So cozy and inviting with glorious views of sunrises and sunsets. We look forward to returning.

“Relaxing Stay” My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Great views also. Would definitely stay there again!

“Terrific views” The rental company was great to work with due to the fact that we had icy conditions. The home is in like new condition with incredible views. I would definitely stay here again.

“The perfect place for privacy and relaxation” It was just the right place for my husband, myself and our two dogs to get away from our busy schedules. Very cozy! The hot tub, the view of the river and the location were exactly what we wanted. We would have liked the master bedroom to be larger and to have more TV channels, but other than that, it was great. We booked at the last minute and the lady at the rental office was very easy to talk with and most helpful.

“very relaxing” it was pet friendly, kid friendly, and the little town near by was full of wonderful people. the area is gorgeous and the climate was amazing. the hot tub is outside and the view from it is perfect. also, the cabin is very unique in its design. there is a place nearby that rents canoes, its a little general store called new river general store. the people there were really great and even sent us a newspaper clipping from the nearby town paper. we were pictured in it because a photographer had snapped a picture of us canoing for an article they ran. She recognized us and mailed it, using the info she had from when we rented the canoe. what a great place to relax.

“Great house - secluded!” We were looking for a do nothing vacation just to relax and got that This house was exactly what we were looking for. We sat by creek and fire pit almost every day and read relaxed we even fished. We caught our limit daily in this creek and the creek it feeds into at the bottom of the mountain. Visited Todd Country Store for the Blue Grass on Friday night it was really good blue grass entertainment. The House was great for one couple and 2 separate adults. This Cabin was all a mountain cabin should be. The Guy who services the Hot tube and maintenance was great guy, we compliment him on his great willingness to be there should we need him(we did not have any issues at all that requires his assistance) Great place for peace and quiet from a very busy life style. Golfed in Todd beautif front 9 PS- my husband would not let me drive the cart due to the steep mountain side cart tracks ! very funny at the time what did he think I would run myself off the mountain ha ha.lol Thanks for a memorable vacation home experience!

“Cannot wait to return !!!” This cabin was picture perfect- our family could not have enjoyed it any more.

“Beautiful Winter Vacation Spot” This was a perfect location for a snowy winter vacation trip. The cabin was great and the people at Carolina mountain Properties are very nice and accommodating. Cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. One of the best stocked cabins we have ever rented.

“Wonderful Time!!” We wanted to get away to the mountains for a quiet retreat. The house was clean, the grill was perfect, and the view was great. Also, tubing down the new river was a great time. I would recommend using Zaloos tubing and canoeing. My only criticism is that they advertise trails and areas to explore, but it is really hard to get to explore because of the vegetation. There is no aC upstairs, but fans worked pretty well to cool it off. Also, if you go for the dish tv, their package is about 10 or so stations. However, we were there to get away from tv and cell service and would definitely stay there again.

“It was great!” The only problems we had were: - internet didn't work and no password provided - there were only 3 bedrooms plus a basement room with 5 twin beds so we had to put an air mattress in the basement playroom which was very cold!

“Private Mountain Top” Very private spot with far views and a good size yard to kick around in. We went in autumn and the colors were lovely. The bed is in the upstairs loft and the bath is on the lower floor. Otherwise there is ample space while still feeling cozy. Very warm in cold weather with the heating system. Nice sized hot tub on the rear deck with easy access through the back kitchen door. Great sunrise and sunset views from this lot. A very appealing spot. The steep gravel road is sharply inclined so a four wheel drive would be necessary in rain or snow.

“Perfect experience in every way.” Location, ease of access, comfortable, clean, tons of room. A perfect place for our family to enjoy the mountains. We were close but not cramped, the eating area allowed everyone to spread out. Lots of places to sit, relax, rest, or recover from a busy day.

“Great Family Retreat” Location is in close proximity to skiing, snowboarding, tubing. Great view of the mountains and the sunrise and sunset. Plenty of room for 10 guests.

“The house and setting allowed us to relax and get away from the” My wife and I spent a relaxing 3 weeks at the Crest. The setting is beautiful and the house is quite comfortable. We spent our time reading and taking day trips to nearby towns and attractions and our city dogs loved being able to roam around the woods off-lead. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife around the house such as deer and a wild turkey. The cool air and mountain vistas were quite a treat for flatlanders such as us who normally endure the misery of august in south Louisiana.

“Ski Weekend” Great view and location for skiing at appalachian Ski Mountain.

“Awesome and Blissful” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blissful Vista. Jenkins Rentals is wonderful and helpful. We have been coming to Blowing Rock for 14 years and are looking forward to next year. The location was perfect, private but still around everyone. Just make sure you have 4 wheel drive as always. The view is fantastic, ever changing and peaceful. Totally enjoyed waking up and just looking out the window to see the sunrise. Love the wood burning fireplace. If you are a chef, the kitchen was perfect and had everything one needs. Our favorite part is just enjoying the view out on the awesome decks. Thank you for a wonderful home and sweet memories.

“Beautiful surroundings and comfortable accomodation” The condo has a great location and the resort is beautiful with lots of space and views.The condo set up is perfect with kids and the washer dryer a real plus.
