“Perfect Place and Location” We recently returned from a weekend bachelor party with 20 people. I can't speak highly enough of the place, location,and Nancy. We could walk to Shady Gators or H. Toads. We had plenty of room for everyone to hang out, play games, relax and enjoy. There is even a nice yard with a fire pit for relaxing around. Nancy was very accomidating and arranged a full breakfast buffet for us at Mommas Market at MM5.5 which was very good and a great start to the day for the party. I am excited to book this place again next year for sure!

“Cute, convenient, quite cottage.” My wife and I stayed here for four night at the end of July. It is a cute rustic cabin with room for two - four people. It is close to everything in the Traverse area. Nestled on Duck lake peninsula, it is a great place for fishing. I caught 4 large-mouth bass out of the nearby canal alone. The owner is very nice and prompt in her responses. The peninsula has four different spots where you can access the lake. Good if you are looking for a quick weekend getaway!

“Beautiful Family Memories” We stayed in the Snow Basin condo in March, 2011 with our 6 and 7 year old children for a fabulous family ski trip. The condo was beautifully appointed and we had everything we needed and more. It was very convenient to all of the ski areas as well as to the grocery store and restaurants. For a little more variety it was just a short drive to indoor sky-diving, movie theaters, and a wonderful children's museum. We were glad to see them during a day when the snow was falling so heavily that we did not want to ski. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious. The complex was very quiet and we were never disturbed by loud neighbors like the time we went to Taos, NM to ski. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home for a family vacation!

“A great retreat” Staying here while on vacation (a bit off-season) was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of home. The front porch was a great place to relax and play games with friends, the full kitchen allowed us to share great meals, private lake access made kayaking a blast, and proximity to local restaurants and shops as well as the Chataqua Institute made our trip the perfect combination of fun & relaxation!

“Amazing get away!!” This house is beautiful!! The view is incredible and the amount of space throughout the entire house is awesome!! My friends and I stayed here for a weekend away and got just that! While the cell service is pretty bad, it allowed us to spend time together and enjoy nature! There was plenty of space for everyone! Donald took care of everything, even providing the house with basic necessities that some of my group forgot! Donald replies very fast to your questions and concerns!! Overall, an amazing trip and a beautiful house!

“Comfortable and huge.” My wife and I recently stayed here. While we only needed a place for the two of us, we were really impressed with the spaciousness and layout of this condo. We are thinking about returning with a larger family group. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms are also roomy. Location is close to downtown, Port Clinton, Cedar Point, or the ferries to the islands. The view out over the country club is beautiful. We would strongly recommend this rental to anyone interested in staying in Marblehead.

“Great experience” I stayed in villa #4. It was a really nice place to stay. Only had a couple of minor issues. The people who stayed before left dirty dishes in the dishwasher which I cleaned and put away so I wouldn't be charged, the beds were pushed against the wall, and the people in villa #3 who checked in on Sunday were rude. It was a clean and cozy place to stay over all. Its very close to the beach and just minutes from any shopping or attractions to suit anyone's needs or wants. This was our family's first stay at the beach and it was excellent.

“Great location. Wonderful plce for a family gathering.” Our family of 11 stayed through the New Year's holiday. What a wonderful place. There was plenty of room and the house is so big that there were little nooks to get away from the crowd if someone wanted quiet reading time. The location is perfect, just 1/2 block from the Main Street in Lake Placid. We walked down to the bottom of the hill to go on a dogsled ride and cross country ski on the lake. The home is 5 minutes from the Olympic Center and 15 from Whiteface Mountain. There is so much to do in Lake Placid. We ran out of time before running out of things to do. Grocery stores were conveniently located and on one of the frigid evenings we picked up the most wonderful Italian meals from a take out place just down the street. This location had it all!

“Charming studio in lovely quiet neighborhood with fenced in private outside area.” This studio has everything you'll need. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood, great for walking. There's a small park just down the road a couple of blocks where you can sit and watch the amazing sun sets or just enjoy watching the boats ride by. The owners are very nice and have a few fur babies of their own, so they may allow you to bring your doggie,too! Sue/Dawn......thank you!!!! I hope to return & stay again.

“Home Away from Home Only Better” We love this house. It is so warm and cozy. As soon as you step in, you feel right at home. There is plenty of room and open space. The fireplace and living room are incredibly tranquil. There is plenty of sleeping space and bathroom space. The bathrooms are updated and nice and clean. I love the that you don't feel on top of one another. The decor is warm. The views are incredible. We can only imagine how it will be in the summer with the Lake. I can't wait to come back. “Beautiful! Relaxing! Perfect!” I spent 4th of July weekend with a group of friends at this wonderful mountain retreat, and it was all that we wished and more!! The views are spectacular, the private pond and the mountains added so much to our stay. It was like being on a private resort...the home had everything we needed to have fun and enjoy this long summer weekend, and we are already planning to return next year. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing spot for a long weekend getaway! “Outstanding Vacation Rental” Our extended family (22 people - 13A/9K) had a great week at Saddle Beach. The house was beautiful and in very good condition. The option of being in the pool or the river during the day was wonderful. The house was clean and well furnished. The dining room table and table on the porch provided plenty of seating for meals. There was plenty of hot water for showers and clean-up after meals. The pool was clean and the river was awesome, with a gradual slope that was perfect for kids and adults. We used the crab traps provided and caught 2 dozen crabs that made a great contribution to dinner on Friday. Crabbing was best by the dock. We caught all but 3 crabs there, rather than out closer to the middle of the river. The AC on the ground floor stopped working on Tuesday, but one call to the owner and the repair team was on-site in less than 2 hours. The issue was resolved before noon on Wednesday. We have been renting vacation properties for years and issues crop up from time to time. We appreciated the quick response and resolution. The one recommendation we will make is to bring bug spray (mosquitos and horse flies). We anticipated it being right on the river, but if you haven't had that experience, you need to be prepared.

“Wonderful beach condo with amazing ocean views” I stayed at Audrey and Eric's condo during Hangout Music Fest, and it was a comfortable place to sleep, eat, get work done, and enjoy the view of the ocean. Checking in and out was hassle-free, as was communicating with the owners. Definitely a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy some time on the beach.
