“paradise” Incredible vacation in this place!!!, the house is huge and has an elegant Mexican style, very clean, fresh and comfortable. The service staff was excellent. Beds are excellent, good rest is very important for us. The view is spectacular, you feel a unique atmosphere surrounded by palm trees. The house is perfect for large families. We watched the sunrise each morning and enjoyed the diving and snorkeling spot right in front of the house. The swimming pool is in a beautiful setting and at perfect temperature for kids. Being in the old part of acapulco it has a original character and unique atmosphere. Rosa, the chef, prepared delicious dishes. The owners are very friendly and respond immediately to all requests, giving guidance on tourist attractions, where to eat, where to buy, doctor etc. We will definitely be back next year!

“Relaxing with everything you need and incredible birds eye view” Really enjoyed our time in this penthouse apartment. Words and pictures cannot do it justice. Very relaxing, secluded and secure. The apartment is well appointed and very clean. Maria, the maid was a great help in fixing meals and cleaning up and always very pleasent. We will be back.

“A week in Paradise” We had a wonderful relaxing week. All the tips and suggestions that Barbara Tucker left were the best. We loved the kitchen!!! Altho we had most meals out it was lovely being able to fix our slushy drinks and snacks for just kicking back and relaxing. Definately a place to put on the list to go back to only next time it has to be at least 2 weeks.

“Life in Zihuat” Having traveled to many places in Mexico, my recent 10 day stay at Ensueno 10 was a wonderful introduction to life in Zihuatanejo. I felt like I was staying in a good friend's home - that new how to treat its friend's very well. When I arrived late in the day, all I wanted to do was rest on the deck, unwind, and take in the view of the sunset over the bay. The rooms at night come alive with colorful artwork, soft lighting and comfy places to curl up, read or entertain. The kitchen has all you need for anything you might want to prepare. I especially loved the care taken in the little things - the colorful dishes, the soft towels and sheets, the knife sharpener in the drawer. The decor feels warm and cozy, filled with mexican crafts that feel authentic and give this home a sense of place. The staff was great and helpful. I loved swimming in the pool at night under the stars. Using the Villa as home base, we traveled up and down the coast visiting many towns, beaches and restaurants. I especially loved sitting at a table on the beach, under a palapa with my feet in the sand. Food, tequila and a dip in the ocean - what could be more perfect. We also traveled up into the mountains to visit Patzcuaro and many small villages that are filled with all the artisans and crafts from the area. In Santa Clara del Cobre, the center of copper art, I pounded a disk of copper that would become an intricate pot. I just loved discovering Zihuat (as the locals say) and look forward to staying here again on my next visit.

“Very spacious and relaxing” My family of six stayed in this condo in January, 2014. We found it exactly as described - roomy, clean, with a great view. The housekeeper, Dulce, is a great cook so definitely have her make some meals for you. We did not rent a car, but Dulce's husband, Fernando, is a taxi driver and was happy to drive us anywhere we wanted to go. The best features of the condo are the balcony, which has a truly gorgeous view of Playa La Ropa beach and the town of Zihuatanejo. It was lovely to watch the lights in town coming on in the evening. You can't actually see the sun setting from this condo, since it hugs the side of a mountain. But that is actually a plus, because the mountain provides shade in the afternoon so the balcony and condo stay comfortably cool. This condo building is small and out of the way, so while the beach was very busy during the holiday week when we were there, the condo always felt quiet. This is a hilly area and the condo is high enough to have a beautiful view, so be aware that it is a bit of a climb down to the beach. The condo building is well-maintained and relatively new. We always felt safe there, and in Zihuatanejo in general. It is a great place for a family vacation!

“Fabulous place for a large group” We can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was in the Amara Penthouse. Four couples stayed for eight days and the space was great. We never felt crowded or like we were on top of each other. The private terrace was amazing. The views were spectacular and the added space was perfect for coffee in the morning while we planned our day, or using the grill in the evening to cook the fish we bought at the fresh fish market in town. The location is wonderful – located in the center of everything it seemed. We didn’t have far to walk if we wanted to go into Amara and we could walk the beach in both directions. If you look at the pictures and think the penthouse is nice, wait until you actually arrive – the pictures don’t do it justice. We found the owners extremely helpful and easy to work with. They offered suggestions on things to do and answered every question we posed. We highly recommend this rental property and hope to one day be lucky enough to stay there again.

“Fabulous Stay” We had excellent communication with the owner when making arrangements for rental. The condo was clean, very spacious, comfortable beds and appliances were all in very good working order. The swimming pool was always clean and the grounds very well kept. It was quiet and a place for a restful vacation. It is a short walk to centre of Ixtapa where there are excellent restaurants, shops and beach access. Some may find that an inconvenience but we actually enjoyed the exercise. Public transportation and taxis are readily available for exploring the area. The weather was outstanding. We had six weeks of sunshine, loved it.
