“First Class Unit and amenities - Spectacular!” The Unit is part of alamar, a complex with two condo towers, pools (one near the building, one at the beach club), a gym, etc. Bonus - zero time share reps to bother you. About the Unit: Very modern and spacious, the kitchen was well appointed, the barbecue was used frequently, the kids loved the splash pool, and the view did not disappoint. We had everything we needed, from fresh water to beach towels and boogie boards for the kids. The aC did not work in our room, but the owner had installed a portable unit in the meantime and that worked perfectly. We appreciated the attention he put into making sure we were comfortable. Anyways, upon walking in the first time, we were impressed and all smiles when we first toured the unit - it's a very, very cool and comfortable space. About the complex: Extremely well run and very, very safe. We were impressed at how everything was carefully maintained by the friendly ground staff. The Jungle pool was quiet and spectacular. Same for the pool and beach at the beach club. We frequently almost had the place to ourselves, the complex is not very busy during the week, does get a bit busier during the week-ends (beach club) - but it's still far less busy that any resort. No need to reserve lounge chairs, there are always great spots available. La Cruz is a cute, quiet village - it was easy to explore and buy food at the local tiendas or food stands. Great for a genuine local experience. Bucerias is very close by if you want larger stores, and easily accessed by bus, taxi or car. Also, Destiladeras beach is just 5 min. up the road, and is probably on of the best in the entire bay. We even saw whales breaching from there. Overall, we had a top notch stay with our three kids (ages between 6 and 12), and will continue renting units like this instead of visiting resorts. It's much better.

“A great place to stay!!!” Buzz and Maria were waiting for us to arrive just as promised. We arrived one day early and everything was ready. The place is spotlessly clean, great bed, towels, linens. The kitchenette had everything you could need, as well. We walked into centro each day, and somedays walked back or when the night got a little late we took a cab. Buses are also close by, just down the hill. It is nice to be able to walk into town, but also be up and away at night...the sleeping is great!!! When we are in Gto. again, we will check first with Buzz and Maria to see if their place is available. We have been all over and seen our share of places we'd rather not be staying...but this place is better than advertised. Don't hesitate to book here!!!

“paradise” Incredible vacation in this place!!!, the house is huge and has an elegant Mexican style, very clean, fresh and comfortable. The service staff was excellent. Beds are excellent, good rest is very important for us. The view is spectacular, you feel a unique atmosphere surrounded by palm trees. The house is perfect for large families. We watched the sunrise each morning and enjoyed the diving and snorkeling spot right in front of the house. The swimming pool is in a beautiful setting and at perfect temperature for kids. Being in the old part of acapulco it has a original character and unique atmosphere. Rosa, the chef, prepared delicious dishes. The owners are very friendly and respond immediately to all requests, giving guidance on tourist attractions, where to eat, where to buy, doctor etc. We will definitely be back next year!

“Most convenient location is PV” My wife and I both just loved the location of this very well equipped Condo. We spent the month of January there. Just steps away from the Malecon we could walk a lot or a little... Condo is very well laid out and with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is great for overnight guests. We used the wonderful salt-water pool on the roof most days and really enjoyed it. Beds are super comfortable and with A/C in the room made for very good sleeps. We always felt super safe and secure and the staff were always friendly. I like to workout most days and having a Gym about 3 minutes away was great. The ONLY thing we were not crazy about were the bars around the patio, we love sitting out on patios but this one felt a little like we were in jail... I noticed some of the other suites on the second floor had sliding bars over the patio doors so when you were on the patio you are not looking through bars... If that could be changed it sure would enhance the condo. Thank You Walter and Leslie...

“Soothing, peaceful & private with a great view” This was our second visit to this lovely rooftop condo, we enjoyed it so much last year we decided to return. Our host Dana is exemplary, makes sure we have everything we need & is so gracious. We particularly love the privacy of the condo but the bustle & action of PV or Bucerias is not far away & easily accessible. We enjoyed the condo even more this year & would return for another visit in a heartbeat.

“i am reborn” what an amazing experience this winter was,[dec 1-feb17] with these wonderful hosts. i admit reluctance describing how great it was because then there will never be a vacancy!! everything written in the previous reviews is true. i especially liked their friendliness and sociability while respecting my privacy and need for quiet time. ajijic was a wonderful choice for a first-time snowbird and this location was perfect for me. several local acquaintances expressed their approval with very 'green' eyes.
