“Awesome!” The service was great - Dovi was there on our arrival even though our plane was late and Wayan Dhama and his nephew were at the airport to collect us The villa was beautiful the rooms well appointed with modern beautiful facilities and everything we needed was there. Wayan drove us wherever we needed to go for a minimal cost and the location was perfect - near lots of nice restaurants - we had a circle K supermarket literally 2 minutes walk away and a little further down the street several salons for massages etc a short drive takes you to Kuta waterbom park and Discovery shopping mall etc Loved the lounge area, poolside lounges etc the pool the rooms were massive and kitchen had everything we needed. the only thing we had trouble with was the adapters for charging phones and running kettle etc but bought some cheap ones down the road. Loved the cleaning ladies who came every day and tidied up our mess - they were great!!

“My great holidays on the Samui Island, Thailand. Idyllic Resort.” In the airport I was picked up by the owner of the Idyllic Resort (Hans Beeftink) and his lovely wife (Lana Beeftink). The whole trip from the airport to the Resort takes about 10 minutes. In the Idyllic Resort I was living in the Orchid Villa. That villa is located approximately 100 meters away from the shore. And the whole way from the Villa's door to the beach is pure pleasure: at the beginning you overcome a short distance among palms and blooming bushes of orchids and then the rest of the way it is a long tunnel covered with many coloured flowers and in the end of your short trip to the beach you are met by white, clean sand and by a blue stripe of South China Sea. Probably I should mention that the beach is private and there is no access for strangers. The Orchid Villa consists of two buildings. One building includes a big fully equipped kitchen which is integrated with a cosy living room, a bedroom with a double bed and of course a toilet and a shower. As well that building has a big terrace and a summer bed outside. Another building consists of two bedrooms with toilet, shower and everything what you need for sleeping and nice time being inside of the room. Those two buildings are separated by a swimming pool with two beach beds and lawn. The Resort consists also of other Villas, they are all different but made with great taste and love in order to make you feel yourselves as at home. In the main office which is located right next to the entrance to the Resort, you can find a nice small library which is there because some people have left there many books after their holidays. There are many books in many languages, plus, DVD disks with movies and music. As well in the main office you can find a coffee machine, a fridge with fizzy drinks, high quality alcohol and chocolate. Also the Resort provides so many other services/ options which make you even happier there than you are at that moment of time!

“Let's keep it a secret!!!!” Myself and my girlfrind have recently returned from a month whistlestop tour of Thailand, including 3*, 4* and 5* hotels and Lotus Terraces was undoubtably the most amazing place of them all. From the personal mobile phone and stocked fridge on arrival right through to our checkout, we thoroughly felt like we were the only visitors on the Island. Immaculate Villa and immaculate service in every way. My only concern is that my girlfriend is now talking about getting married so she can have the wedding here - Lotus you are too good!! “Great place - October 2010” It was our second visit to Lotus Terraces and we again truly enjoyed our stay. The villas are beautiful, the staff is great, friendly and very helpful. We love the place off-season for its calm and serenity. If you need a break from the city buzz this place is for you. We definitely hope to return soon.

“Best place on Earth” This is a copy of a letter we wrote to the Staff of the Lotus Terraces after our return visit in april. This place is perfect with everything anyone could want away from the crowds of Chaweng Beach, I think my letter to them says it all Well where can I begin to thank this place and their staff. To Ton thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did to organise the most perfect end to our holiday, it was such a pity you could not catch up with us this time, you are more than welcome in our home in australia anytime you wish to visit. Jan and Sue you go over and beyond what any staff of any other establishment have ever done for us to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed sitting and having a friendly conversation with you Jane and hope to do it again in the future. Lastly but never least to Rose, you are a true asset to the Lotus Terraces and our visits would not be the same without you. Your dedication to your work the care you take of us and your endless commitment to make sure we relax and enjoy ourselves no matter what time of the day or night is appreciated more than you realise. As Jenny told Ton we would love to take you home with us. “Fantastic location” We stayed 4 nights at villa number 4 in a group of 6 adults and 2 children. The location of the villa is fantastic, nestled in between the beach (just 5 minutes walking distance) and the main street with many restaurants and shops. Hardy's supermarket is also a short walk away (about 500 metres). The kitchen was fully equipped, though we didn't cook as there were so many food options nearby. The villa felt very private and the kids really loved playing in the pool after a long day (a point to note: the pool is rather deep - we brought along some inflatable floats for the children). One minor complaint was that one or two of the lights in the villa were not working. It wasn't a big issue, hence we didn't felt the need to get it fixed. Michele made sure that the entire stay - from booking of accomodation and day tours to checking-out - went about smoothly with no hiccups. Ajik and the other guide (I didn't get his name) were also fantastic - they were very knowledgeable and made sure that our bali tour was fun and educational. We are happy to have chosen to stay here for our first trip to Bali and will certainly consider this villa again if we return.

“perfect relaxing weekend” This beautiful Villa in ambalangoda is located very nice. You can see the river and around are old big trees and so quiet that you can hear the birds. There are three luxury rooms in old Colonial Style with separate bathrooms. The rooms are big with very nice antique furniture and very clean. The living and dinning room are situated with an open courtyard. You feel very comfortable and like at home. The staff is extraordinary friendly and they gave us always a welcome feeling. We stayed there for a weekend with our two little kids. They enjoyed the big swimming pool and the garden. We loved to stay there and we are sure we will come back.

“I wanted to take Jay's Wife home with me!” We stayed for three in January and I have to say its one of the best rentals we have stayed in! The house and its location is just perfect, peaceful yet just a couple of minutes by scooter to the main beach, Jay who runs the restaurant over the road manages the property and he and his lovely wife made our holiday, quite simply the best food on the Island - go try it you wont disagree with me! You will find cheaper places on the island to stay but none as in this league, treat yourself it is certainly worth it
