“Good rental in the hart of Kona” Well equiped kondo, very clean and perfect located in the hart of Kona. Biggest disadvantage is the small kitchen. The pool is nice and the whirlpool great! Parking can be a problem when you arrive back from a trip after 5pm.

“great location and views” awesome location, views, and accommodations. book early because from that calendar on the owners link it fills up fast. just an fyi when you arrive there is underground parking that i have noticed people don't realize. as in any vrbo please leave some pass it forward things. i left some spices, boggie board and a large fan. aloha.

“Amazing, Spectacular, Beautiful and Highly recommended!” We arrived at night to Kona View and just the drive there was awesome! Once we arrived we were greeted by Randy and atsumi. The house was lit up and we could see the infiniti pool and some of the beautiful vegetation in front of the house. The house was clean and bright and modern. Our first morning at Kona View Estates was quiet and we had fresh Kona ground coffee delivered hot to us by Randy. The next 12 days were full of rest and relaxation and its finest! We will definitely be returning next year if we can!!!

“Beautiful Ocean Front Townhouse” My family and I enjoyed staying at Keauhou Kona #5 Townhouse. The Townhome was very well maintained. The two-story unit was very stylish with new granite countertops. We very much enjoyed the lanai and being so close to the ocean. The beach was not crowded and we saw turtles everyday. What I liked best about the location was that we felt isolated from all the traffic, yet there many nice restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls close to the townhouse. “Amazing Beachfront Location! Can't be beat!” We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful condo in august-September. It was the perfect set-up for our family trip. Our four-year old twin daughters and our mothers joined us and we couldn't have asked for more. It was clean, with a well appointed kitchen, stocked with everything we could possibly ask for. The furnishings were clean and comfortable, the beds and bedding were cozy and clean. The best feature of this venue however is the waterfront lanai. We enjoyed sitting out dining al fresco, watching the ocean views and amazing sunsets over the ocean. The sandy beach below is literally fifty feet away and a perfect place for kids! Our girls absolutely loved the little beach and it was a daily favorite on our agenda. The grands could watch the girls having fun below, without ever leaving the house. We enjoyed grilling out several times on on the waterfront grassy BBQ area. The grills are spotless and maintained and cleaned daily. The grounds were safe and secure. The location is close to downtown Kona, shopping, restaurants and groceries in either direction, not to mention great pit stop for sight seeing locations and beaches. We had a couple of challenges arise during our 11day stay, but the owner took care of things for us and made sure things were made right. The only other concern we had was the humidity in late august, which was sometimes heavy, but with screens open and fans running it was manageable. Over all we loved our vacation and wouldn't change a thing. We'll now also be spoiled to oceanfront accommodations and the sound of the waves beneath our windows. We would recommend this rental, and would return again! Thanks Kathy & Bruce.

“Execellent and affordable place to stay in Kona.” We have stayed here five times in past seven years. It is definitely our favorite place to stay in Kona. We have visited every Hawaiian island except Lanai. The Big Island is our favorite and the Kona Makai is a wonderful, beautiful, quite and relaxing place to stay. Grills are located on the ocean front. Excellent sunsets with the occasional "green flash." Walk to town, restaurants, church, numerous beaches and stores. We highly recommend it to family and friends.

“Perfect little hide away” Janet was super accommodating during our stay. The access to bikes, snorkel gear and an outdoor hose off was great! We rented scooters and found the location to be perfect for both the White Sands Beach and the snorkeling beach. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for letting us have a late check out too! Saved us the hassle of sweating in the heat waiting for our shuttle!

“Even better than expected” I stayed at this cottage for 11 nights. I felt so much at home that I did not want to leave, not even to go to the beach. The views are stunning. It is very private and quiet. I really liked the sound of the water fall in the gulch below. The cottage offers anything one can dream of... fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, towels, beach chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, BBQ, outside showers, TV, DVD and a very fast and stable internet. Haiku town is only a few minutes by car (3 minutes to be precise) where you can find groceries, restaurants and a fitness centre (which offers weekly and daily passes for tourists). Paia town and beaches can easily be reached within 15 minutes, Makawao town is also around the corner. Barbara and Hank, the owners of this beautiful property, are very nice people and extremely helpful.

“Amazing place!” We loved our stay at the Banyan Tree Condos. The highlight is, without a doubt, having breakfast on the deck watching the waves and the surfers. This condo has everything you'd possibly need for your stay and I highly recommend it. Next time we're on the Big Island, this is definitely where we'll be staying!

“Hawaii home away from home.” Service was excellent: prompt, thorough and pleasant. The room was as presented in the pictures, and was so clean and well supplied, it felt like home within minutes of arriving. Location is as stated, except that it was a 15 minute drive, not 10 minutes, to downtown Kona where all the restaurants and hotels are. It is very well situated for getting to other places on the island. The area is quiet. Just received a new road. I can't think of a single thing we didn't like.

“Perfect Vacation Condo” Our family stayed 2 weeks and everything was absolutely perfect. The unit is beautifully furnished and decorated. It was very clean and comfortable. It has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is nicely equipped. All beach gear is available for use, cooler, towels, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. We so enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the lanai with the gentle ocean breeze. The location is perfect. The kids really enjoyed the pool and walking to a'beach with direct access was a very nice perk. We also enjoyed a daily walk along the coast on the trail, the views are breathtaking. The grounds of the complex are beautiful and well kept. It was also nice being able to walk to the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace for shopping and dining. We had such a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning sometime soon! Will stay again in 16F without question.

“Serenity in Maui” My husband and I spent eight days at this lovely property, and quite simply, was the best house rental, and the best vacation we have ever taken. There are not enough words to tell you how beautiful the home is with all the stunning landscaping, yummy fruit trees,and great, private saltwater pool. The home is immaculate, and luxurious. Extremely clean, and absolutely stunning. Very comfortably furniture and great beds. Claudia, the owner is charming, and will be there when you need her for anything. Please, do yourself a favor and stay in this home. It is paradise!
