“Gorgeous! Looking forward to our next visit.” We stayed here for a week. It was a lovely place for us the stay. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the garden. It is a lovely garden with many paths leading here and there to traverse. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy the view or simply to take a casual stroll though and enjoy the serenity. So first the gardens are wonderful. The amount of work to maintain these is wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with Diana about different aspects of gardening. She gave us a tour all around and we all enjoyed that. The house is older and has lots of charm. The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The one is smaller and just seemed the right size for the little ones. All the bed were very comfortable and had lovely bedding, nice smooth sheets and down duvets. We were all very comfortable at night. The kitchen was great the stove and fridge worked well and there was lots of pots and pans for us to use. There is a BBQ and outdoor grill also available. Great for cooking crabs! The view from the property is breathtaking. Its been a couple weeks now and I still miss sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Such a lovely relaxing place to stay. We look forward to our next trip. Lastly the jewel of the Boxwood Cottage is Diana herself. She is right next door if you need any info but I never felt that she was intrusive. Very quickly I felt like we were visiting an old friend. She is very busy with the gardens and keeping up the property but was always willing to chat with us and even joke a little with the kids. Looking forward to going back again soon!

“What a great spot” This is our 2nd year going to the inn at the sea and what a great unit. Iris is a great host. The unit has all the comforts of home and then some. We had great time with children it is tough to find the perfect spot but this is it. The pool is a great place to spend the day. Thank you Iris!

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “Beautiful, relaxing, charming - just the best!” Xanadu Estate is a short scenic ride north of Victoria. When we arrived at the property we were greeted by Jane who was an incredibly welcoming host. The property is set on beautiful acreage that was covered with all the wonderful colors of fall. The suite offered everything that one could want for a relaxing vacation. (It is just as the pictures show - large, comfortable, clean with all the amenities you could possibly want.)I was sorry that we were not able to stay a bit longer. It is only a short drive to many small communities, restaurants, shopping and the ferries. Around the corner is a wonderful little lavendar farm. Nothing could be better than to explore during the day and then come back to your wonderful suite to sit and relax with a glass of wine or a cup of English tea looking out over the beautiful view. I would love to return in the summer so that I could take advantage of all the wonderful outdoor activities that are available in the area. I would definitely recommend Xanadu to everyone - singles, couples, friends and families.

“Wonderfully relaxing cabin” We loved our stay at the Sandy River house. It snowed 1 ft. the night that we arrived and had an awesome day waking up and walking to the roaring sandy river right on the property. The owner was easy to work with, the master bed was very comfortable and we would love to come back there to stay for our next ski trip. It is pretty close to the mountain but not in a resort- more of a quiet area to relax after a day of skiing.
