“Perfect!” We decided to rent this cottage prior to ever seeing any pictures and the owners renovation surpassed our expectations! The cottage was nicely decorated and had all the essentials of home (gas grill, washing machine, swing, comfortable beds, cable tv, netflix). The view of the sound was incredible and there was even a few firelogs waiting for us to have a fire in the fire place. We had a family vacation with our 3 year old and 11 month old and the owner even went out of his way to find us a pack in play and provide some great sightseeing recommendations (hurricane ridge, marymere falls, lake crescent, lake angeles). We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an amazing getaway.

“Perfect getaway for a couple!” We loved everything about this place! It's cozy, quiet, clean, perfectly located...I could go on and on. The outdoor shower was certainly one of the highlights of the stay for me. The bed is also very comfortable. We cannot wait to go back!

“Location, Location, Location” We wanted an affordable and comfortable space with a homey feel. Pilots Cottage fit the bill. The location just off the water was so pretty in the morning. Conveniently located so we could easily get to every place we needed to in and around Port Townsend. Lots of quaint character that added to the charm. Our trip was truly enjoyable and we'd readily stay there again.

“Bella Beach Pacific Paradise” This beautiful beach house was everything and more than what was advertised. It is very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The views are spectacular throughout the house plus there's an amazing rooftop deck and a great hot tub! The location is practically on the ocean and beach access was literally a one minute walk. The sunsets and whale watching were beyond description. The area is very quiet and peaceful and we felt safe. The property manager, Lisa, was very gracious and helpful in setting up the trip.

“Woodland setting and close to ocean, but still close to all amen” I have stayed at a lot of different rental properties and can honestly say that the Tanglewood Beach House is one of the best I have stayed at. They have a great book that the owners created outlining the area and what there is to do. It also includes a reference guide for the condo on simple things but things that if you don't live there you wouldn't know how to turn certain things on/off and which remote does what. The kitchen also has everything you need to cook with.

“Just sit down and relax!” Our third visit to the Seashack and it was wonderful as always. Great location-close to town but so quiet. A great way to relax. Everything you need is provided so all you need to bring is yourself. Long walks on the beach right out your door. We always stay a week and at the end of the week we wonder why we did not make it two. A very romantic escape!

“Love this place!” Our family enjoyed a weekend away at the Husum House and were surprised how by how great this riverfront heaven is! We played games, cooked, hiked, rode bikes, and relaxed in what feels like a world away but really was not that far from our home in Portland. The house had everything we needed and was very well kept and comfortable. Will definitely be making this an annual retreat!

“Best Family Vacation!” This is a Wonderful place to go with a family, as a couple or on your own... The condo is clean, comfy and very well equipped with everything you could ever need and MORE... It's very peaceful and quiet with Amazing ocean views! There's lots to keep kids entertained, swimming in the pool, exploring the beach and playing at the playground... The deck is a Fabulous place to enjoy a meal, read a book or just sit and watch the sea life, the boats or any birds flying by... We Highly recommend staying here, we're sure you will enjoy it as much as we did! We can't wait to go back again... :)

“Excellent experience every time!” We have stayed at this location several times and each time it has been relaxing, clean, well equipped and absolutely wonderful. My husband and I enjoy the easy access to cross country ski trails and that we can bring our dogs on winter holidays with us. Having recently got back into downhill sports we now look forward to taking greater advantage of the ski-in ski-out access at this lovely spot. The hot tub is also a wonderful aspect to the amenities available. As well as being able to pull right up to the door to unload all the winter gear (and now baby gear), a big plus plus!! My husband and I look forward to visiting again soon and making this trip an annual get-a-way.

“Escaping the Texas heat.” Stayed here from 8/11 through 8/16 and loved it. Very nice interior and roomy enough. Was lovely to be able to hear the water from the creek, while inside. Very peaceful and quiet. Saw deer each morning at the creek and the deck over it was great to sit and have coffee or just sit! Arrived to a plate of some wonderful cookies and the owners responded promptly when texted of our arrival. Able to do laundry there, as well, which was helpful. Just a lovely spot and great location for going to Hurricane Ridge, Port angeles, Etc...would recommend to friends and family.

“Very comfortable” Loved this place the moment I got here! Reminds me of what a cottage on the beach would be! The owners live close by and are eager to please. They are always making improvements. The only negative I have found is a big iron gate to enter the property that keeps the dogs in and you have to get out of the car to open and close it. Not that big a deal. I am staying six weeks and I may make this a yearly event!

“Better than expected!!!” The pictures of the tulip house, as lovely as they are, do not do it justice! It is much nicer than the photos can capture - a gorgeous, comfortable, sunny and incredibly well-kept place to stay. We were travelling with our two kids (9,6) and it was the perfect accommodation. Lots of room, comfortable beds, a very quiet home for great sleeps, and incredibly helpful and kind hosts. An easy walk to kits beach and the great kits beach outdoor pool, and all the stores and restaurants on 4th. Can't say enough good things about tulip house!!

“One Happy Camper x 2” My husband and I had a wonderful time at Black Rock Beach House, it is even more spectacular in person, we absolutely loved everything about it, everything was perfection! This is a beautiful home. We hated to leave each day but wanted to see the Wild Pacific Trail, so we reluctantly left the house and walked the Lighthouse Trail section of the trail, we picked a good day, gale force winds, marine advisories and spectacular waves, quite impressive. We had hoped for a storm and Mother Nature co-operated, wet & weary we returned to what is now our new favorite place, Black Rock Beach House. We walked the other sections of the trail the following days, all beautiful and peaceful. Never got to take the boat tour of the Broken Group Islands, or kayak due to the marine advisories and fog, hopefully next time, but the rain and fog didn't spoil our trip in the least, just added the adventure, we were happy to spend more time back at the house just staring out the windows at the waves crashing on the rocks, the eagles, and the Great Heron who came to the tidal pools in front of the house for his breakfast and dinner each day. We had an absolutely wonderful time and will definetly be back, next time bringing our 2 grown daughters. One Very Happy Camper x 2 New Jersey

“Great for families” My sister and myself, along with our families, rented the entire Kiwi Cove Cottage for a week during the Christmas holidays. We had a total of three adults and four children staying in the Cottage and were very comfortable. We had a lot of room for living, playing, eating, etc. The Cottage had everything we needed - from coffee and tea to laundry detergent to enough linens and dishes to board games and books to read. The location and property itself is great and the kids really enjoyed our treks around, including going to the beach to look for shells. We would love to come back during the summer to see everything in its full growth glory. Peggy was very helpful when we initially called for information (and with all of our subsequent telephone calls). We ended up needing an earlier check in and a later check out and Peggy had no problems accommodating us. We would definitely stay again - thank you for making us feel so much at home!!
