“Perfect Vacation!” A perfect house, a perfect location, a perfect vacation! We read all the wonderful reviews before we booked this Malibu beach house and it was everything we read about and so much more. It was just beautiful! We would book it again in a heartbeat. “Not RIGHT on the lake as photos suggest but cozy and spacious cabin with hot tub and close proximity to Big Bear village” This cabin was very comfortable and cozy and really embodied the "cabin feel." The living room was very spacious and had a large TV that provided access to Netflix and other programs (a big plus). The kitchen was very well stocked with a wide array of kitchenware and grilling tools, which really came in handy for the grill right outside. We especially enjoyed the hot tub (spent many hours here), as we stayed in Big Bear in March and it was quite chilly out. The only problem we had with the house was the fact that the pictures were deceptive in making it appear that the cabin was right on the lake, which was not the case. There was a whole house right in front of us and blocked much of our view of the lake, as well as a long fence that made it impossible for us to even access the lake from our area (we had to walk a few hundred feet down the street to the marina to get to the water). Otherwise, the house was incredibly cozy and accommodating and made for a relaxing three-night stay up in the mountains for our Spring Break.

“Amazing!” My family stayed at this house for a week in July. It was great! The house was in a good location, less than a 10 min walk to the beautiful beach. Restaurants and coffee shops were in easy walking distance. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and spices. The TV and entertainment unit were amazing, very high tech but easy to use. There was a cute front yard and a nice little back yard with patio furniture and a BBQ. There were bikes to use as well. The owner was amazing! Very easy to get in contact with and very hospitable. He even provided us with a playpen for our son. If we are ever in Long Beach again we would definitely stay here.

“one of the best vacations ever!!!” I stayed at this beach house over memorial weekend. This house was the perfect beach house with an amazing location and view. The house was very well equipped and we felt very comfortable staying there. it was a great weekend for my family and the kids had the best time playing in the ocean most of the day. Amber was very responsive to anything we needed and she made us feel very at home. I would highly recommend this house and I do plan on going back someday!

“Relaxing and Comfortable Experience” Our family stayed at the Lovely Garden House and just had the best time. To watch our kids play in the beautiful backyard and be able to relax in the cabana under a the palm tree's really made the recooperation process incredibly easy after long days at Disneyland. The spa was great and the kitchen was awesome for framily dinners and a great gathering place. All in all we were so happy here and when we had question's about the area or anything at all, the owner was always available and ready to assist with dinner suggestions and great beaches near by. We will stay here agian when we return next year. Thanks again for making our Vacation so memorable, The Odett's.

“Wonderful Place” We went as a family in the beginning of summer for a few days away. Everything was as described. The dining area was perfect to fit all of us together for a family dinner. The deck is perfect to sit and relax with a great view of lake. Everything you need for a BBQ was provided. The living room has a large fireplace , which we used even in the summer! The dock was a little bit of a walk, but well worth it. It is right on the lake with a table to sit and enjoy the lake. The owner was very accessible for any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely rent the place again! Very reasonable for a home so close to lake.

“Perfect” Our family stayed here for a weekend in September and thoroughly enjoyed it! We live in Oxnard and needed a place for family visiting from out of town. The Dunes Hideaway was the perfect solution for us! The beach is close and the home is comfortable and clean! There are bikes for adults and toys for children. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is space for everyone! Jana has thought of everything you could possibly need and has it waiting for you. She is easy to work with and made the whole process simple, Our family will stay here again and again. The Dunes is set up with everything you need, Just bring yourself and desire for fun or relaxation, it's all close by. A book with menus from nearby restaurants and suggestions for local activities has been compiled by the owner and is a great resource if you choose to go out. The open concept kitchen makes staying at home tempting. A nice deck for BBQ-ing is a great bonus! You will love how easy it is to stay at the Dunes Hideaway!

“Fun home, tons of room, gorgeous view of the lake!!!” Our family had a ball in your home this past weekend! The game tables were a hit with my kids!!! Waking up to that lakefront amazing beauty was one of my favorite parts!!! We all would gather down in the great room and admire the beauty and the pelicans and ducks!!! We all thought of how perfect this home would be in the summertime!!! The only thing I can say that may deter us from renting this home again is the lack of washer and dryer! My boys were in and out of the snow all day, and after the slopes you really want a dryer! I wore wet gloves on the second day, and the boys snow pants never really dried all the way! Just a small inconvienance but I wish I would have realized this before I booked!!! Also, having no wifi proved tough for my husband with work! Thankfully, McDonalds and Starbucks has free Wifi and we made trips there often! This is a spacious and comfortable home, and we thank you for such a memorable and great weekend!!!

“We had a great time” We enjoyed our stay. The house was the perfect size for my family of 5. My girls loved playing in the big yard. We decided to bring our dog with us next time. It was very peaceful sitting on the back deck at night roasting marshmallows and playing games. If I had to pick 1 or 2 things to say I didn't like, which is hardly anything. It would be, on the upper deck, way too many spider webs that you can't sit out there & the bunk beds in the second room are way too close to each other. If you're clostraphobic, you can't use the bottom bunk. Other than that, everything was great.
