“Dreams do come true in Radda” We spent a month in Europe and Radda was the last leg of our journey and the absolute best part of our trip. Besides the breath taking vistas that abound in all directions, the accommodations are spectacular. A comfortable bed, a gorgeous bathroom and a quaint sitting area with sink and fridge. Evenings we would enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the orchard. The gardens are filled with rows and rows of lavender. Exquisite! The entire villa is like a setting from a romantic movie about Italy. To be really decadent, we had a massage poolside that Mila arranged for us. It was heaven. It really is a place to find peace and tranquility, away from the noise of life. Mila is a charming hostess and a fountain of knowledge re the neighboring villages and history. She was fascinating to listen to and not the least bit intrusive. If we needed her she was there, otherwise she respected our privacy. My one wish would be, to have the opportunity to return again to this paradise. Thank you Mila for a wonderful experience in Chianti.

“A perfect cottage in which to feel at home.” This is a perfect cottage in which to feel at home whilst exploring the south west of Iceland. The views across the lake and to the surrounding hills are very special. It is well equipped and has a spacious living area and I would recommend paying the small extra fee for use of the hot tub after a day's trekking in the mountains or driving around the fjords. Iceland's highest waterfall, Glymur, is nearby and is well worth the walk. Haukur and anna Lisa, the hosts, are very helpful and friendly and we very much enjoyed our time in their summerhouse.

“perfect” We love Oar Island. It is the perfect vacation place for families with children of different ages, or just a couple. There is hiking, sunning, relaxation, but mostly what we love about Oar Island is the isolation. It is an adventure as well, since the only way to get there is by the little motorboat. It is a getaway for certain kinds of people; but if you prefer the Marriott type of stay, this is not that kind, it is much more "out-doorsy".

“Unique and beautiful...heavy on the character...” I'm a frequent visitor of the 'ette. I love the location (right off the main drag) but enjoy its solitude (wooded median...long drive way). Its sort of like a studio apartment in the woods. its close to many of the wineries, The Red Newt and Stone Cat restaurants and a gas/quick mart. When Wine tasting its easy to swing by and change clothes/use the facilities/take a nap (comfy beds) and unload your recent purchases. The owners are friendly and helpful. The grounds are spacious with a nice walking trail. For what you get for the price its really a great secret. So why share a secret? I'm not there long enough or frequent enough to keep it to myself...like a cool song, I shouldn't be singing it alone (especially if you've heard my voice).

“Girls weekend away” Six of us brought together through a breast cancer survivor dragonboat team formed a bond and now we get together once a year at the "Annex". We go in the fall and enjoy the colours and serenity of the place. We have so much fun, the house is big and rustic. We enjoy the fireplace, the big kitchen, we take turns making meals and can't enough of the great outdoors. Dave makes sure we have enough wood and all the comforts of home. We just love the place and are looking forward to going back again this year.

“Awesome getaway!” Hearts Delight and the hosts, Mac and Dar are just that...a delight! The cabin is clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home but in a very relaxed country setting. The grounds are just beautiful and well maintained with a fire pit, swimming and fishing ponds, walking trails through the woods and a shared hot tub. You could not ask for a nicer getaway that is not that far from many of Ohio's highlights.

“Land of Fire, Ice and the cottage with three beagles.” We were greeted by Brynja upon our arrival and immediately we knew we had made the right decision. Before setting off for Iceland we had planned our itinerary pretty meticulously but Brynja provided us with enough ideas for places to visit and things to do to keep us occupied for a month. The cottage itself was delightful: well appointed on the shores of an Icelandic Fjord and with views of some of some of the most breathtaking scenery. Inside the cottage was no less impressive; spotlessly clean and complete with more all the comforts of home. We had chosen the cottage because of its location - an hour from Reykjavik - and had made plans to get all our shopping from the city. There is, however, a small shop 5 minutes drive from the cottage. Our stay in Iceland was amazing thanks in no small part to having this incredible home away from home.

“Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “A wonderful silver wedding weekend for us” We stayed with my husband's 2 daughters, their partners and 6 year old granddaughter, and we were made very welcome. The place is lovely, with comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens, and the warm sunny weather made it perfect. The breakfast choices (my husband and I were in a B&B; room and the others in the cottage) were excellent. Maddie loved the animals and the play facilities and we all felt very relaxed. We appreciated the extras like fruit and biscuits. And Bradford upon avon is certainly worth a visit.

“We all love the place” This house is both casual and luxurious. The lakeside house has great beds, nice sheets, a well-equipped kitchen, an amazing open and scenic living room, a lovely garden surrounding the house and lots to do in the area. I've enjoyed walking on and exploring the area along the shore, wading out into the lake to swim, relaxing in the hammock, and cycling on the many country roads. I've stayed there several times, with and without my kids, and we all love the place.

“The sound of the waves, right outside your door, are like a lull” We had a "rough time" getting here (mechanical problems with the plane, canceled flight, etc.) but the cottage soothed our tired souls! We found the drum of the waves to be the best lullaby and the fresh air and abundant sunshine to renew our spirits. We appreciated the personal art on the walls and the large open space. For folks who enjoy cooking with local produce, the well stocked kitchen, the large number of pots/pans/utensils, and the full sized refrigerator are perfect. There was plenty of hot water in the shower (and good water pressure!), the furniture was comfortable (brought back memories of beach houses from our childhood), and the large counter surface in the "dressing room" was perfect for all of our "stuff". We used the outdoor patio table for several breakfasts and dinners, watched a neighbor vacationer fish from the sea wall, and took daily walks on the nearly deserted beach. There were many informative books in the cottage along with maps, Dvds, etc. We used the guide books but were too busy enjoying Oahu to need any other form of entertainment! Although we have traveled extensively in the past few years, this was our first trip to Hawaii. We have already recommended the cottage to family and friends - thank you, Peter, for sharing your wonderful home.

“AMAZING CABIN! Great location, couldn't ask for anything better!” The owner was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! It was wonderful for the large group that we had. Especially having the 2 kitchens, and the large family rooms. The location was great, as we went and hiked Stewart Falls just above Sundance Resort and then floated the Provo River in rafts, all within just minutes of the cabin. We were able to have a group fire pit at the park just below the cabin by the river. The wild life of rabbits, peacocks, turkeys and deer around the cabin made it fun especially for the youth of the group. Would love to stay there again and would highly recommend it.

La Tinaia, Podere Patrignone - a Tuscan cottage with garden, views and pool

“A Slice of Paradise” We stayed at Podere Patrignone for 5 days in September. It was wonderful to stay in a self contained apartment after 4 weeks of hotels in France. The farmhouse is charming, the apartments are unique and quaint, the countryside was picture perfect and the weather was unseasonably warm. Simon and Verity were such hospitable hosts, yet give the guests their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekly meal Verity and Pam created for all the guests. You must have a car to truely experience all the hidden charms of Tuscany, and everything is so close and the quality of food and wine was impressive. Our favourite memory of staying at Podere Patrignone was sharing sunsets on the terrace with other guests and partaking of good wine, great conversation and so many laughs. We will be back for another slice of paradise.

“Beautiful, eco-friendly, relaxing experience” What an amazing place. We were amazed by the attention to detail, beautiful design, and welcoming environment. “Magical” My husband and I have stayed in ivy cottage,its very comfortable and cosy especally with the open fireplace plenty of room for holiday cottage and all essential's catered for and lots of pease and quite. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas golf only 9km in Templemore,fishing and plenty of walks and sightseeing,but just to sit in the picknic area and look across to the fields and mountains is really breathtaking,plus walking around pet farm. Our host Mr M Odonnell is most welcomning making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your holiday to the full.

“Great family holiday” Our family (2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby) stayed for a week in June 2011. The lodge was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could need for a family break. The pool, table tennis and bikes were a great hit. Mr and Mrs Landman and housekeeper were charming and very helpful. The village is very quiet - great for walking and cycling and our children went pony riding at the local farm. Lots of foodie places nearby and a very good restaurant in the next village. Many places to visit - Champagne route/Epernay, Verdun and many war sites - visiting the Butte de Vauquois is very moving. It's a special place and we would thoroughly recommend staying here.

“Beautiful, Warm & Welcoming” We set out on a journey to discover our heritage and see if we had any living relatives in Co. Mayo Ireland. We arrived on an unseasonably cold and blustery day so when we opened the door to the house and were welcomed by the warmth of heat we were delighted. Teach Mo Chroi' was our home base but turned out to be so much more. It is truly a lovely home. The rooms were very spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable after a long day of touring. The kids enjoyed playing soccer and especially the tire swing, but the highlight was watching the fathers and sons play basketball together. It turned out to be one of the best family vacations we've ever taken. There were so many places to visit in the area; a boat ride from ashford Castle to the island was among our favorites. But don't miss Ballintubber abbey, Achill Island, Climbing Croagh Patrick and especially the nightlife in Westport town. Everything was so easily accessible and convenient. The home is furnished with everything you could possibly need or want for cooking, and with so many Satellite channels it was easy to keep the kids entertained. Maura our hostess was warm and friendly and helpful. We were especially impressed with how clean the home was when we arrived and how easily it handled our large group of 11 adults & children. I will recommend the home to others and hope we can find another excuse to visit again in the future. If there was any disappointment it was that we were unable to find any living relatives but our visit to Mayo and Teach Mo Chroi more than made up for that disappointment.

“A relaxing, romantic stay with outstanding food!” This was a great break. The cottage was comfortable & warm with a very good bed and superb shower! The hot stone massage was really sensational - totally relaxing but what really stood out was the excellent food. Delicious, with a really home cooked feel - great portion sizes & the home grown salad just topped it off perfectly. We felt like we had a week away, not a weekend! The spa facilities were good and the sauna & steam was great temperature and never over full. The owners clearly cared a lot about how good a time we had and wanted to do everything they could. Highly recommended!
