“Beautiful” the studio was very clean and comfortable, very close to the beach and to the center of town very convenient. The house keeping service was the best Mrs Pauline was very amicable to our needs.

“Holiday Home” My daughter and I rented this really beautiful villa. Angie collected us from the airport and kindly took us shopping to get some food to tide us over until we picked up our rented car. The house smelled fresh as we walked in. The lounge is spacious with three and two seater settees, coffee table and a large smart TV on the wall. The villa has air-conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms that was much appreciated as it was sometimes 35 degrees outside. Bedrooms have TVs on the wall. There is a large round thick glass dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a washing machine that my daughter thought wonderful as she used it often. Everything is as described in respect of this villa. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return when next in Jamaica. Another thing we thought wonderful is the automatic gates - no getting out and opening the gate - just press the remote control, drive in and park! The security company checked the house and left a note to say they have been round. We felt very safe at the villa. If you do not rent a car, Bouge taxis can be found who will take you where you want to go or ask Angie. There is a very smart car for rental should you need it at the villa. We did not hire this car as we had previously booked a 4 x 4 to take us cross country to St. Catherine and other areas that had rough terrain. We were not bothered by anyone - complete freedom. “My stay here was heaven on earth.” My stay on this villa was great. Everything I could imagine and more Food was delicious and authentic; not process or frozen. The master suit where I stayed was immaculate. The power shower to the huge jacuzzi bath. The king size bed made my night rest wonderful. It's felt like I was sleeping on clouds. This villa was hard for me to leave, from pool, xbox, board games and a fantastic pool why must I go outside.(lol). When I decided to go outside it was also a great and wonderful experience. I visited duns river falls, when to the hot spot night club margarita ville, oceans 11, and amnesia. We sang karaoke had great Jamaica drinks and watch the beautiful scenery. All these great attraction only 12mins tops from the villa. However my highlight of the stay is the private beach, only 2min walk from the villa. Great vacation I'm booking another stay for January andirons can't wait...

“Fantastic get-away outside of Negril proper” The Retreat Plantation House is a picturesque villa in "Retreat", Westmoreland Parish, situated on a hillside overlooking acres of sugar cane fields on what is a still operational plantation. Although at times the tranquil surroundings may transport you to another century, the villa is newly refurbished and replete with the necessities of modern living. The three bedrooms easily accommodate 7, and our large group of 9 was quite comfortable throughout our stay. If you are looking for a respite from the gauche touristy atmosphere of the all-inclusive resorts on 7 mile, then Retreat is ready to oblige with a more relaxed, authentic, local Jamaican feel. If your vacation contemplates forays into town and the beach, then Retreat is also well suited (it's a 15-20 min. cab ride to the action, at about $2 USD per person, day rate. Renting a car is also feasible).

“Exceptional service and amenities” Natalee and Barbara provided warm genuine hospitality during our stay. Breakfast was on time and exquisite every morning, a little Jamaican food, a little continental fare, your wish is their command. The facilities were clean, comfortable and the internet access fast. It was as if you were staying in a luxury resort. The hidden secret is the flora, if you like flowers, if you like orchids, you will be delighted in your stay. There are orchids of every color and type in the gardens which are a botanists dream.

“Looks exactly like the pics.” I would stay here every trip to Mo Bay!!! The owner met me at the airport on time, was friendly and offered a ride. Since I already had a ride we followed him to the property. If I was not with a local I would of got lost for it was several twist and turns before entering the locked gates of the property. Close drive to everything. The neighbors were friendly. As I entered the 3rd floor apartment it felt like home. Every room looks like the pictures posted. We were provided pots, utensils, plates, drinks (liquor), wifi, cable, stereo system, telephone, linens, basically everything as if you were home except for food. Ac is only in the master bedroom however there was a breeze during the day (please note I traveled in October when it is much cooler in Jamaica). The first day I took a cold shower but the rest of the days I had hot water. I like nice views and I could see the ocean from the living room. Thanks Ian!!!

“WONDERFUL TIME!” Property is beautiful....This is my second stay at the Palmyra and once again we had a wonderful time. This is a condo that is built on the most beautiful beach there is in Montego Bay, between the former Ritz Carlton and Hilton Rosehall hotels. We had views of both beach and mountains. I can still feel the tradewinds. Sharon, the owner is most gracious and the staff there was very attentive and accomodating. Thank you all, So, Sharon Im ready to book my vacation for Feb, 2015. “Wow!!” Dave, the Villa bus driver, picked us up at a local hotel where we had spent the previous night. The trip from Montego Bay to Mais Oui took a little over an hour but we did have one stop at a grocery for snacks and drinks. Dave was available the entire week and his advice on day trips and what to see was really appreciated. Upon arrival at the Villa we were greeted by Miss Ruby and the entire staff that presented us with cool towels and rum punch. We got a quick tour of the property while our luggage was unloaded and placed in the appropriate rooms. We were a group of 11 adults--all family and close friends. The Villa was spotless and all the items that we had requested in advance were on site for our arrival. This included the first two days' food and drinks. Arrangements for the food and drinks had been made with a local grocery where the Villa can charge and get delivery. The items were a bit pricy but for the convenience of having everything on site at arrival it is worth a little extra. On Tuesday Chef Arthur and I shopped at a large grocery store in Ocho Rios and purchased food for the remainder of our stay. Prices at this store were excellent as was the selection of food available. Our week at Mais Oui was exceptional. The staff was superb. Miss Ruby, the manager, was always available if we had questions or needs. Audrey and Janice kept the Villa in immaculate condition with fresh linens and towels daily in each room as well as fresh towels for the pool and beach as needed. Max kept the pool and grounds spotless and made sure the hot tub was ready as requested. Paul was always on hand also to serve our meals and get anything our group needed. A security guard was on site from dusk to dawn. Everyone in the group enjoyed "spa" day on Wednesday when massages were provided for our entire group. These were done by therapists whom the Villa arranged to have on site that day at an additional charge. The pool area is wonderful as it provides areas of shade, partial sun and full sun depending on how you locate your loungers. The pool is not heated but very refreshing when cooling off from the warm sun. We were a little saddened that the tennis court was in need of some repair but we were still able to use the court just not play competitively. The food at the Villa has to be considered a high point. Chef Arthur is a wonderful cook and prepared some of the finest meals we have enjoyed. He took the menu we had arranged and prepared almost everything we had requested. He asked permission to vary some dishes to give us a little more flavor of Jamaica and everyone agreed his selections were first rate. He is preparing a cook book with all his recipes and we look forward to getting a copy!! Overall, we felt like we were treated like members of the Mais Oui family. There were plenty of tears when on our last morning we were serenaded by the entire staff. Totally unexpected was a call from the Villa owner to see how our vacation was progressing and if all our needs were being met.

“Spectacular views of sea with brilliant staff” Stayed at Maranatha villa this year and left completely impressed with the staff, location and villa.. They really offered us sincere hospitality and ensured that we were well taken care of. We had some delicious meals that we enjoyed at times on the gazebo by the seaside which has some spectacular views. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was excellent on hot days. The adventurous ones in our group jumped off into the ocean for snorkeling and swimming in the reef. An excellent time was had by all. We will definitely be back.
