“Perfect holidays” The house location is directly on the beach. The house is big, clean and has 1100 q.m. garten. In the garten there is a shower with hot water, which I loved it, tennis table and oven to grill which we used many times evening. The beach is very safe for small children and water is very clear. The beginning of July was about 25-30 degree with light breeze in the evening. The water was warm and not hot like in august. We booked 2 weeks beginning July 2013 with my wife, 2 years old son and my parents. We lived on the top floor with 3 bedrooms. Washer were changed after 1 week, there were a lot of big and small towels prepared for us. In the house there is a washing machine and a big refrigerator. There is also air-conditioning system in 2 bedrooms and a new baby's high chair my son used by eating. We had a breakfast on the terrace with beautiful view to the see and evening we ate on the second terrace inside. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The supermarkets are in max. 5 minutes by car. We got everything in Inka supermarket, also fresh fish mornings. The bus station is directly near the hous. You can reach the old town Chania in 10 minutes by bus or by taxi. The price for taxi 7 EUR, bus is about 2 EUR I think. There are also good Greece restorants around 10 minutes to go and a lot of them in Chania old town. We arrived by car from Heraklion and there is a parking place inside of hause. You can also book some trips by small car-train to the mountaince or some other sightseeings. Natali and her husband Yannis were very helpfull for us and we had a lovely dinner last evening. Yannis cooked potato with chicken in the oven in the garten and we enjoyed it all together! We prepaid by 2 money bank transfers to Natali as it was described on her website. Based on the recommendations from other websites I trusted to do that. Just want to say again thank you very munch for our holidays.

“Returning as soon as possible!” Connie and John's studio is a 5 minute walk from the sea, and the taverns on the water as well as people who run them offer great food and wonderful hospitality to visitors, at extremely affordable prices. In fact, they didn't even ask us to pay for the umbrellas and sun beds and brought our drinks and food right down to our sunbeds for us. Coming from Italy, where we usually pay up to 25 Euros a day for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, that says a lot. The studio is perfect for two, though we managed to get three people into it by placing a third mattress into the room thanks to the caretakers that added one for us, as our third traveller was a last minute addition. It was crowded with three but definitely doable. The aC worked well, and we were all very happy to spend a too short week in the studio with its sea views. No mosquitos! Not one. Yet another plus. In fact, I'm returning in October, though I just went in august. Luckily, I'm just a 2 hour flight away, and thought this was my first trip to Crete, it definitely won't be my last. The town of Kalamki is about 7 kilometers from the major city of Chania, a lovely once Venetian outpost, with it's colorful markets, shops, and eateries. The beach in Kalamaki is somewhat protected from wind and waves, and pretty calm and clear, though even more spectacular beaches can be reached by car and tour bus, anywhere from one to two hour's away. Plenty of things to do on the island, and a car is the best way to go, though there are plenty of other options. More populated beach towns with large hotels and droves of tourists are set just off to both sides of Kalamaki but my instincts served me well and I felt as though I had landed in the perfect spot. I can't say enough. I'm defninitely a fan. Just about everyone speaks English fluently on the island, which is also a plus if you're concerned about the language.
