“Perfect place to relax and enjoy SW Colorado” We spent 4 nights at Francie's cabin as part of a 3 wk trip and really enjoyed our time there. The listing is 100% accurate and the photos don't do it justice. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, walking around the property to see birds/wildlife, and having Blueberry and Pluto visit us for their dog bones. We weren't sure our teen daughter would be keen on being so remote, but she loved her loft area and said she slept like a rock every night because it was so peaceful. Even though the cabin is peacefully located out on the ranch, you are only 10-15 minutes from Durango or Mesa Verde so it is a great location for sightseeing. At night we'd turn all the lights off in the cabin and enjoy the night sky while soaking in the hot tub. Francie is quick to reply to emails and set up the reservation which is amazing given that she runs the huge ranch as well. Her home is just a bit up the driveway from the cabin so she's close by if you need her, but she doesn't linger around (she's too busy!). This was one of our favorite places from our long road trip and we'd love to come back again some day!

“What an amazing Place to stay while on Vacation.” Francie, My wife april, our Boys Owen and Luke had the most wonderful time on your ranch. It started off kind of uncertain with the plumber messing up your broiler but without missing a beat you had a backup plan and placed us in your guest house. What an amazing place you have. Our boys enjoyed the wide open space to run and not to worry about traffic. Your bloodhounds greeted us every morning and then left to assist with your chores. Very nicely located, we visited the Mesa Verde and the 4 Corners area and rode the Train and drove to Silverton. And wehn we came back relaxed in your jaccuzzi. I want to thank you so much for this great experience. The boys didn't want to leave and said good bye to your place as we exited the property.
