“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Great cozy home away from home.” We stayed in the Orleans bungalo apartment on July 15-18. It felt like we were at home. The apartment had lots of character and charm. Loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the free entertainment across the street , was it called the ship wrecked bar? I especially loved beiing able to go to the back alley and washing clothes. (I hope it belonged to the cottages property, if not then oops!) We utilized the kitchen and the gas grill out back on the patio.Everything was great and this cottage had plenty of space for two families. We met my cousins from Texas in Flordia for a vaca. We drove from Oklahoma. The flat screens worked great. I have no complaints about this place. I just want to say to all you all snotty people leaving negative comments.... Quit complaining or find somewhere else to stay. What exactly do you think you are getting when you hear the word "cottages" it's not going to have a bell hop and a maid that cleans up your messes daily. Maybe some of you never lived in 100 year old homes and only used to a lavish lifestyle. Obviously you spent your time in doors. not us we were at the beach the majority of the day until almost 9pm every night. I enjoyed my stay there. It was a good 3 day stay for us despite the rainy weather. Yet we still had fun.

“Great Vacation Home” We love to stay at the home with our family very clean place it has a private pool, recreation area for kids and my kids loved it. We will love to stay this home again we recommend 100%

“Such a treasure in the mountains of Tennessee” We just returned from our trip to Tennessee to attend our sons graduation! We never stay in hotels and have stayed in many homes throughout Tennessee and the country. The Jackson House was the first place my children said before we even left to come home if we could come back! The house is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. Shelly, the host, is an absolute joy. She was a wealth of information for local hiking places and just such a pleasure to spend time with. It was like sitting at our family's home visiting. The views are amazing! We firmly believe that sometimes God puts you in places you need to be and that is exactly what happened this past week! We can't wait to go back and see who we now consider friends and extended family! Thank you for such a wonderful weekend. “Very nice house; Beautifully decorated” This was an easy to rent house that was great for our family's needs while in McDonough. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. The only thing to note is that the swimming pool for the community is not open year-round.

“Awesome Cabin!!” My husband and I rented this property for the July 4th weekend. His sister and her husband traveled with us. At first we thought we were going to the end of the Earth, but after finding the cabin we were all very pleased. It was very nice! Clean, spacious, and private. Giving each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. Best of all, Liz, is an amazing hostess, checking in with us daily to be sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this cabin for a nice relaxing weekend.

“Villas at Seven Dwarfs Lane” This gated community offers a wide range of activities including Tennis volleyball and netball courts a children's water play area, paddleboats and fishing on the lake a lare pool and Clubhouse. A small poolside bar serving drinks and snacks completes the amenities. The staff in the Clubhouse and on the gate were friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the complete lack of recycling facilities which would be so easy to implement. A horrific amount of garbage is just compacted and obviously goes to landfill. Other than this I would thoroughly recommend Flipkey and this venue.

“Paridise In Big Bear” My husband and I went to the Chalet with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Kiyoe was very welcoming. The place was very clean and homey. Our dogs loved the trails right outside the back door. What we enjoyed the most was the privacy and how quiet the area was. We definitely will go back! Thank you for having us...
