“Wonderful Stay in The Adirondacks” We couldn’t have been more comfortable in this lovely home. Everything you needed or wanted is at this home. “Surrounded by Nature with the comforts of home.” With a peaceful, private lake just a footpath away from this completely updated unit, you can't go wrong! Despite all the modern touches the unit holds, it has such a cozy "cabin" feel to it. It was great having all the amenities for our active boys just a walk away as well as beautiful Lake George so close by! Our family has rented several times and upon each return we notice another convenience or update added to the unit. A perfect day for us includes, eating breakfast on the covered patio, followed by a hiking adventure at the many places nearby,(our kids will squeeze in some tennis or basketball too) then down the path to the lake to catch some sun, some swimming, kayaking or boating then back to the condo for a grilled dinner and campfire! Then off to the comfortable beds for a good nights sleep so we could spend the next day at beautiful Lake George! It's such a treat to enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer and to come back to such a comfortable, cozy, and well loved condo!

“Wonderful!” This was one of the most unusual places we've ever stayed- a renovated old church, at the same time classic, modern, absolutely spotless, warm, bright, cozy and if you appreciate the arts you are in for a treat as both Julie and Peter are accomplished artists (Julie is a painter and Peter a musician).

“Nice place to get away from the hectic city.” Quiet and secluded it was a good fit for me, a couple, their toddler and two small dogs. Property its a good size for a small walk in the woods. Storms have pushed the creek away from the back of the house and it's small and not showing any fish, so wasn't able to fish on the property. I'd advise getting your fishing license before you get there. The house was clean and well kept. The frig had a fair amount of condiments in them, so check the frig before you head to town to buy anything. There were enough pots and pans to cook, but we were glad we brought two cooking knives with us. The gas grill on the deck was OUTSTANDING! I give that grill 5 stars. Quiet with a great view of the stars. We took advantage of the fire pit and picnicked while cooking hot dogs over the open fire. The wifi was intermittent, which can be a good thing if you're looking to truly get away and relax.

“Relaxing: Home away from Home...” Over the past 13 years, I have rented this upper cottage for a group of my friends and I to unwind and enjoy the start of fall in Ocean City NJ. The location is within walking distance to the beach (easy walking) and the house offers comfort and a true 'home' feeling. Safe to say, our favorite part of the house is the outside porch that offers ocean sounds and a nice breeze. The landlords (Brian & Karen) have become our family 'At the Shore.' They go above and beyond most rental landlords in that they get to know their renters, and they offer great assistance in helping us find entertainment and dining specific to our tastes. We can't say enough of how that personal touch matters to our gang. Thirteen years of heading to the same place means ... 'If it ain't broke, nothing to fix.' Our group will be heading back in 2013 for year 14!

“Could not say more wonderful things about this charming home . . .” We could no say more wonderful things about this charming vacation rental. It is wonderful. Everything the description says it is. You catch window-framed views of the sunset through the front living room and upstairs master bedroom windows. The house has everything you would want or need - it is stocked better than your own home - with dishes, pans, glassware, tea and coffee pots, coffee grinders, a wonderful old pool table that provides for hours of fun, flat screen televisions, high speed wireless internet and more. It is brand new, while using original bar doors for the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The stairs on the first landing are from the original house and have a wonderful, rustic railing, although I understand that new stairs will replace the old stairs on the first landing when we visit in the fall. The house is literally about 100 steps, or a short block and half to a private shared beach, with a private dock where you can rent canoes and kayaks. The marina is just a short drive away where you can rent pontoon boats or motor boats for the day. And, literally, just a 2 minute walk away is a wonderful, rustic coffee/breakfast shop, complete with Adirondack charm. The big yard has a brand new BBQ, a cast iron fire pit, Adirondack chairs, a beautiful flagstone patio and as I understand it was just regarded and landscaped to be even better than when we stayed there. Everyone of us had fun, from my 71 year old mother in law on down to the children (ages 6, 4, 4 and 3.
