“Thanksgiving Getaway” Beautiful location and our pet was able to come along. We enjoyed the beach, fire pit and weather. The one negative is that our unit was very close to a busy road.

“What a great getaway location to relax and view the secluded private beach and gorgeous ocean view!!!” We stayed in the Lobster Shack which is a cozy clean bungalow which offered a salt water pool with an awesome view of the Gulf waters. Liz is great making sure our needs were met while addressing unexpected refrigerator problems. She is quick to reply contacting a repairman to resolve the issue. Canines are welcome. I miss the relaxation and calmness of the setting yet on Gulf Blvd there are activities to meet everyone's interests. Thank you Liz and love your puppies.❤

“Awesome-perfect in every way” We cannot say enough possitive things about this home and the hosts. We have come to Tarpon for 30 years but this is the first time we ve used flipkey and we will only use flipkey from now on. From the welcoming hug to the perfect ammenities throughout, you could not beat this offering. Location is beautiful and perfect to access anything. The hosts were so nice and they had paid attention to so many details, we were overwhelmed. They had lots of suggestions and a great notebook filled with menus and things to do. Plus hints on specials, fishing and the area. As we ended our trip they even greeted us with a weather report--there was a storm headed our way. Thank you both for making sure this was the best time we ve ever had in this, our favorite, Florida location.

“Best weekend to the end of the summer” The hideawy cottage was perfect for what we needed peacefully, quite and dog friendly that what was the best part! The staff was great and professional and helpful. This was a perfect getaway for my birhtday celebration. I am turly coming back to take another mini vacation it was all the comfronts of home. I would like to thank the staff at Blue Wave Condo Suites for a wonderfully experience and this will be my new vacation spot when I travel back to Clearwater Beach.

“Great cozy home away from home.” We stayed in the Orleans bungalo apartment on July 15-18. It felt like we were at home. The apartment had lots of character and charm. Loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the free entertainment across the street , was it called the ship wrecked bar? I especially loved beiing able to go to the back alley and washing clothes. (I hope it belonged to the cottages property, if not then oops!) We utilized the kitchen and the gas grill out back on the patio.Everything was great and this cottage had plenty of space for two families. We met my cousins from Texas in Flordia for a vaca. We drove from Oklahoma. The flat screens worked great. I have no complaints about this place. I just want to say to all you all snotty people leaving negative comments.... Quit complaining or find somewhere else to stay. What exactly do you think you are getting when you hear the word "cottages" it's not going to have a bell hop and a maid that cleans up your messes daily. Maybe some of you never lived in 100 year old homes and only used to a lavish lifestyle. Obviously you spent your time in doors. not us we were at the beach the majority of the day until almost 9pm every night. I enjoyed my stay there. It was a good 3 day stay for us despite the rainy weather. Yet we still had fun.

“Best Vacation!” I asked each of my kids to sum our stay at O'Cottage and they each yelled "Best vacation!" My wife agreed! It was great to take a break from the whirlwind of kids' activites to spend a week here in peace and quiet. The location on the lake is easily one of the best. We loved waking up to the water and going to bed after the campfire dwindled. The house is spacious and tidy and the outdoor shower is a treat. The owner is quick to respond to questions and the booking process was easy. Would I recommend this place to a friend? No! I want it all for myself! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with my family!

“Beach Paradise Getaway with Restaurant and Marina a short flight from U.S.” We made a last minute reservation for six days in early February, and had very good experiences both with the accommodating suite owner and the resort staff. Enjoyed quiet and reading time on our balcony and the beautiful beach, and also long walks in the area. Good selection of complimentary bikes and kayaks for the guests, and also a well-designed marina for sailors and motor-boaters--especially impressed with the ample maneuvering room for the slips.

“A great retreat” Staying here while on vacation (a bit off-season) was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of home. The front porch was a great place to relax and play games with friends, the full kitchen allowed us to share great meals, private lake access made kayaking a blast, and proximity to local restaurants and shops as well as the Chataqua Institute made our trip the perfect combination of fun & relaxation!

“Perfect Spur of the Moment Getaway” We had a beautiful weekend at the cabin. We booked last minute, but Jenny was so helpful and informative that everything went as smooth as if we had been planning for months! The cabin was clean and warm and beautifully decorated. The property was everything we hoped for with hiking trails and a tranquil pond. Thank you for a perfect, quiet, relaxing weekend!!!

“Perfect Family Vacation Spot!” We scoured this and other websites for two months looking for the perfect spot for our first vacation as a young family of four... and we found it at this lovely home! Around every corner was exciting new activities for both kids and adults. At the end of each day of our stay, my three-year-old and one-year-old each passed out with exhaustion after a day of playing at the beach, marveling at nearby waterfalls, exploring the lake via kayaks and canoes, and playing with the numerous toys and books throughout the house. And when they did pass out, we adults got to enjoy grilled steaks and a nice bottle of wine overlooking beautiful sunsets over the lake from the second floor deck. I think my three-year-old said it best: "I love the lake house daddy; can we come back again and again?" Indeed. Great owners as well -- thorough, clean, and responsive.

“Perfect Vacation Relaxation Spot” The view from the room and balcony was gorgeous. Sitting on the balcony each morning sipping my coffee was heavenly. All of the amenities were close to the room and just short walks away. The property itself was well maintained and quiet while still being family friendly. The room was comfortable and a great home base at the end of our daily jaunts. Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater were very easy drives from the Inn. I can't wait to visit again.

“Nice place and good Landlord” We have group of 9 people spent 4 days at this property in March 13 We all have a wonderful time. The house is in good shape, landlord is very responsible and easy to work with. They have a private dock and boat.

“Paradise Home.” We stayed at the paradise home in October of this year 2013. it was absolutely beautiful! the house was very spacious and the fishing here is absolutely fantastic! we caught many largemouth bass and huge blue gill. the home was very clean and had very modern features. there is a large screen TV in the living room and a fireplace. the stereo in the house is hooked up to the decks outside speakers so you can listen to music if you're sitting on the deck and playing cards or just enjoying the view. the nature trail walk around the lake is a must!!! It is so beautiful and you see everything from beautiful flowers to wild life. we will definitely be going back again! they have 4 beaches to swim or sun at, and each house has its own row boat and paddle boat. there is also a Jacuzzi off of the master bedroom that hold about six people with beautiful views threw the large windows of the lake and property. I guarantee if you stay here you will come back every year! the hosts are very courteous and friendly and have everything taken care of ahead of time. we went into town for the Friday night fish fry and it was fantastic! it was called the teepee super club. we are already planning are trip to go up next year!

“Relaxing!” Group of friends headed out of town for the weekend. We had a wonderful time. Close by to Wildcat Mountain State Park, clean hot tub, and full kitchen for making homemade pizzas and pancakes :) Definitely consider Birch Lake Getaway if you are in need of a winter escape.
