“Beautiful views!!” We spent the 4th of July here and the view of the fireworks alone was worth it! First, the property management company was a pleasure to work with. They were in constant contact with me prior to the stay and answered all of our questions. When we first arrived, the home was closed up (as it should be) and was quite warm. The desert rats that we are started looking for the AC. After all 4 adults attempted to get it going, we decided to call the management company. They informed us that there is no AC. Apparently in Tahoe, AC is not normally necessary, but we happened to be there during an abnormal heat wave. Once we were able to get all of the windows open, it cooled down. I will say that the bedrooms did get warm overnight even with all of the windows open and there was only one fan. The bedrooms have the sun hitting them during the day and the overall airflow didn't cool them much overnight. The only other 'complaint' that we had is that the kitchen could have been a little better stocked, but that was a minor detail. There are 3 bedrooms (none of which have a king bed) and a pull-out sofa in the living room. The 3 bathrooms are very convenient and nicely decorated. We loved the layout of the condo. It was open and again, the views are totally worth it! We are definitely wanting to come back again and stay in this beautiful place.

“Cozy Sunset Chalet” My family and I have stayed at the Sunset Chalet in North Lake Tahoe twice in the past year. Both trips were fantastic! We absolutely love the warmth and coziness the chalet provides. The views are breathtaking from both the first and second floors. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, and the location of the chalet works well for my family's needs. There are so many little amenities already available at the chalet which is an added bonus. We hope to return again and again to this spectacular spot!

“Wonderful house that is very convenient” We had a family of ten staying three nights. The house is very spacious and located very close to beaches, bike trails, and grocery stores. Our only complain was with the water in the bathroom. Water pressure was too low, and hot water ran out quickly if two people take shower/bath at the same time.

“Great weekend stay” I was in Tahoe for a wedding, and we shared this house with several couples instead of getting a hotel. It was a great decision. The unit was beautiful, clean, and spacious. I would definitely come back.

“Perfect for Large Gathering” We wanted a comfortable place for 8 people, with room for Thanksgiving dinner for 12 people. Creekside fit both requirements. The home is beautiful, spacious and clean. The highlight is the "Big Room" which consists of living room, dining room and kitchen all connected together in one uninterrupted area. This layout was perfect for Thanksgiving. The dining table seats 14. Guests who prepared food in the kitchen could interact with guests in the living room. We highly recommend Creekside for large social gatherings. All of the rooms have private bathrooms and are spotlessly clean.

“Quiet Serenity” This house is one of the more moderate amongst many homes in a neighborhood of beautiful and elegant mountain houses. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet with many very friendly dogs who guard their houses from the driveway or balcony. Many hiking trails begin very close to this house, making it easy to go for a nice stroll or longer hike to a mountain lake. The house itself was very clean and well kept. The grove of cottonwood trees in the wind added a the sweet song to all parts of the day. The hot tub was clean and was always nice to come home to after a hike. Our entry into and exit from the home were flawless and easy. The management company was very friendly and had dogs too! On our last night, we were greeted by a small mouse in the pantry, but what can you expect with such a location. River Ranch is only a mile down the hill and an easy walk to have a few brews or an appetizer before dinner.
