“Comfortable & warm cottage, with beautiful surroundings.” Owner was very friendly & helpful. He even dropped us off at our wedding venue. Location is a bit out of the way, but that makes it lovely & secure. The views are lovely & there are many animals for the children to watch & pet. We liked the open-plan spacious cottage, although the doors could be changed as the ones off the bedroom were fire exit bars, which children could easily open. Although the surroundings are child-friendly, it is a working farm & so they would need to be supervised. Overal, it was lovely & we would definitely visit again.

“de-stress, relax, and let the world pass you by.” This out of the way yet only a few miles from motorway was the most relaxing holidays we have had. We go away about 3 times a year. This cottage is large and brilliant for both families and those with mobility problems. The owner was on hand at all times nothing was too much trouble. The owls geese dogs ponies all added to the holiday. The lane was a bit bumpy but not a problem. The price was right. If you want a relaxing break well away from the stress then book this cottage its a little gem. Were kids and dogs can run free and adults relax.

Lovely cottage, great outdoor space, peaceful location.

We stayed in Meadow View at the end of august 2013 and absolutely loved it. It is set in a very peaceful valley, with a variety of animals and birds in enclosures and aviaries which the children could stroke and feed. They loved the outdoor space - especially the trampolines. The cottage was well furnished - it even had sharp knives! The rooms were clean and spacious and it had everything we needed for our break, including a travel cot for the baby. We couldn't hear any noise from the other cottages but our children enjoyed the fact they could make friends with other guests. The owners were lovely- nothing was too much trouble. Location wise - about 10 mins drive down country lanes to Laugharne. 10 mins to Pendine beach. 30 mins to Saundersfoot. Lots of nearby things to see and do - Pembroke castle, Corby Woodlands NT, Oaklands theme park and folly farm. … see more

Fantastic place, comfortable spacious accomodation, lots of space animals and trampoline for the kids to play outside, the host was always accessible and willing to sort things out. Great location,a mile or so from Laugharne where Dylan Thomas' house is located. beautiful all round! … see more

Enchanting home from home in a magical setting

Longmore House is highly recommended as a place to stay, either to celebrate an event or simply to get away from it all. For me, the chance to be cocooned in this beautifully decorated house in a truly fairytale setting within view of the village clock tower, Laugharne Castle and sea in the background, with all the literary and local history created by Dylan Thomas whose prescence is still felt, was invaluable. The villagers were so genuinly welcoming and warm that you are made to feel you have always been part of the village almost immediately. Some beautiful restaurants exist in the village and beyond, beautiful old pubs in the middle of hidden coves, and scenery which will take the breath away from the greatest romantics. I have rarely had a break that has been so relaxing and will look forward to visiting again and often. … see more
