“Birthday Trip!” I do believe this might have been the funnest trip I've ever taken in my life. Having every single thing just minutes away from you was such a delight and such a pleasure to not have to drive around constantly in the car. This community is gated and seems like a really fun place to actually buy a vacation home. Actually, while we were there we looked into it and might be doing the same thing that this particular person is offering on TripAdvisor as well! First of all, the house was just absolutely amazing... Bigger than my own home even. It was just me, my son and my husband and our house was absolutely humongous. We actually had thought we would have another family with us but it fell through. Everything was clean and perfect. There were many things like dishwasher, laptop, printer, hair dryer, straightener, toiletries, food! When we arrived, we already had some basic needs that were furnished To Us by the owners. It was such a treat to see that they really cared about us to furnish those things! There was a perfect screened in porch out the back over looking a little bit of a water marsh where we got to watch the birds everyday. The wildlife in our particular yard was extremely delightful. From frogs to lizards two birds two cranes we had an amazing time when we were relaxing at home. To my delight, there were also three swimming pools in the complex. One of the pools were in the middle of the community which was right down the street from our home, then there were two others inside the clubhouse which were also fantastic. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sitting underneath the shelter when it started to rain. Since I knew it would be very hot and we would be extremely exhausted, I asked for a maid service halfway through our vacation and I'm so happy I did. It was nice to come home after dinner to a 100% clean house with clean towels and everything perfect. I recommend that you get the service as the cleaning lady does an excellent job! The next time we booked our Walt Disney World vacation I will be using this home again without a doubt. Even though we stayed 7 days, we still did not get to see everything that we wanted to. Next time we come down we are doing 10 to 12 days for sure and cannot wait to come back to Vista Del Lago. I was really surprised on how many friends we made while we were there!! If you are looking for a family home that could easily sleep 7 people, please do yourself a favor and book this, you will be so glad that you did!!

“Unique and beautiful...heavy on the character...” I'm a frequent visitor of the 'ette. I love the location (right off the main drag) but enjoy its solitude (wooded median...long drive way). Its sort of like a studio apartment in the woods. its close to many of the wineries, The Red Newt and Stone Cat restaurants and a gas/quick mart. When Wine tasting its easy to swing by and change clothes/use the facilities/take a nap (comfy beds) and unload your recent purchases. The owners are friendly and helpful. The grounds are spacious with a nice walking trail. For what you get for the price its really a great secret. So why share a secret? I'm not there long enough or frequent enough to keep it to myself...like a cool song, I shouldn't be singing it alone (especially if you've heard my voice).

“It's Delightful, It's Delicious, It's De-lovely!” One would think that Cole Porter wrote those lyrics after visiting Ye Olde Manor House! The owners, Karen Fulbright-Anderson and John anderson, are a delightful, warm, welcoming couple. They are so friendly and engaging that you feel at home almost as soon as you arrive. And their home reminds me of an English Country Cottage with the many comfortable seating areas and nooks and crannies expected. There is also a beautiful green lawn with several flowering beds and many lovely spots for sitting. But the piece de resistance of the public areas is the year-round indoor/outdoor pool, with a depth of no more than 5 feet, which makes it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers (me) alike. First, and most importantly, each guest room has it's own private bath stocked with lovely smelling potions and lotions, big, soft, fluffy bath towels and anything else that you might need. Second, the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the 'Oak Room', which is filled with antique oak furniture and is perfect for one person. There is a chair for reading, a beautiful antique trunk that you can sit on use for your luggage and antique lamps, doilies and trinkets. There were two other guest rooms nearby, but I slept like a baby and never heard anyone else! The breakfast that John and Karen offer negates the need for lunch! You have a choice of Vegan, Vegetarian or the Meat and Dairy eaters breakfast, and everything they prepare is delicious! Finally, there are plenty of other things to do nearby-walking around the Lake, hiking, visiting the quaint Town of Elkhorn, attending concerts and, my favorite, antique fairs!! My long weekend at Ye Olde Manor House was so enjoyable and relaxing that it left me feeling as though I'd spent a week at a spa. Writing about it is making me feel the same way all over again. I can't wait to visit again!!!

“Florida Vacation” Absolutely loved the villa and location. Villa was very nice and located perfectly in a gated community that had an awesome pool with tiki bar, splash pad for kids, playground for kids and all the other normal amenities. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Florida or theme park vacation. Only 5 min from Disney and 15 from Universal with several restaurants and shopping rite within a mile. Highly recommend. Thanks to the owners for making everything so easy, checking in and fast responses.

“Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “A heavenly little retreat in paradise” Bethany and her husband have the perfect set-up in Lake Travis. A snuggly little cabin tucked away in the middle of nowhere is the ultimate mode of relaxation. It immediately felt like home and a vacation at the same time. “OZARK MOUNTAIN FUN” My wife and I recently spent a wonderful and relaxing week in Eileen and Tom's luxury condo on Teble Rock Lake. We liked being close to all the activities surrounding Branson Missouri and Table Rock Lake without all the traffic and noise often found in Branson itself. In addition to Tom being extremely helpful in answering our questions the condo was all that was promised and more.

“We all love the place” This house is both casual and luxurious. The lakeside house has great beds, nice sheets, a well-equipped kitchen, an amazing open and scenic living room, a lovely garden surrounding the house and lots to do in the area. I've enjoyed walking on and exploring the area along the shore, wading out into the lake to swim, relaxing in the hammock, and cycling on the many country roads. I've stayed there several times, with and without my kids, and we all love the place.

“Wonderful Place” We went as a family in the beginning of summer for a few days away. Everything was as described. The dining area was perfect to fit all of us together for a family dinner. The deck is perfect to sit and relax with a great view of lake. Everything you need for a BBQ was provided. The living room has a large fireplace , which we used even in the summer! The dock was a little bit of a walk, but well worth it. It is right on the lake with a table to sit and enjoy the lake. The owner was very accessible for any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely rent the place again! Very reasonable for a home so close to lake.

“Perfect for Beach Lovers” The views from this Condo are amazing. You cannot get better access to the beach!!! Everything was clean and well done aesthetically. We enjoyed our time, especially my husband who loves the Atlantic Ocean, thoroughly. Onsite parking is a great asset as is the elevator to the 4th floor. Helena and Robert were gracious and very accommodating. Would go back in a heartbeat! .

“Had All Our Meals On The Screened-In Porch” Laura made our reservations easy and it's a great and quiet location! We love the four bedrooms and each has a bath with a shower/jacuzzi tub and there's a porch right off the kitchen making it so easy to take meals on the porch and that was great. We did have to go to the store down the road to purchase another propane bottle when we went to use the grill on the porch but Laura is going to reimburse us for the purchase of another propane tank. It's a wooded setting and yet it's not that far to drive to the Branson strip and the old downtown area. We would return for another gals get-away!

“Bighorn Cottage - love it!” We have stayed in Bighorn Cottage twice and absolutely love it! It is so comfortable and homelike. We love the sleeping porch area, and the new windows were wonderful! The open TV, Dining and sleeping area make it so much fun to be with friends and family at all times. We also enjoyed the privacy that the bedroom offered. The walk in closet helped with hanging our dress clothes, and our hiking clothes. I loved having a washer and dryer there, just in case, too! The kitchen was great for storing food and eating in. When we did leave the cottage, the outside hammock, chairs and center community area were our favorite spot though! We could read and still be a part of the gathering, and the evening activities were awesome. Carolyn & Terry are excellent hosts, and we look forward to our return visit soon! We also enjoyed the location - we walked downtown and got to visit the local shops without any problems. The visitor's information center was close enough to walk to as well. The hiking was perfect, too!
