“The perfect break from a busy world!” The house has the best views we have seen. The house is incredibly comfortable and furnished beautifully. The bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing and everyone just slotted in perfectly. The tennis court is a real bonus in the autumn when it is a little too chilly for swimming. I defy anyone not to fall in love with La Source.

“We really like this place!” We first stayed here in summer 2011, for a week. We went back in 2012 for a week, we had enjoyed it so much. We tried booking it for two weeks this summer but they couldn't take us: becoming too popular as a result of people rebooking for the next year before they leave and, possibly, because of rave (but honest) reviews like this one! The gite is very comfortable. And clean! It is a very easy place to feel relaxed and at home. Eating outside on the shaded terrace, gaily surfing the net via the splendid wifi, lazing in the shade by the pool, swimming in the deliciously cool, but not cold, salt water pool, having someone other than ourselves to chat to for half an hour or so over aperitifs, sleeping like a log in the peace and quiet: these are all things we really enjoy. David and Karen are very welcoming and friendly. If your gite needs something that's not provided just ask and they'll do their best to supply it- though quite what you might be having to ask for I'm not sure as they have the place very well equipped. It's great also to have the facility for washing/drying/ironing clothes. St. Saturnin is a lovely wee village in its own right and is also well situated for visiting any number of other villages in the Luberon. We wholeheartedly recommend this gite as a great place to stay.

“Paradise in Provence” My husband and I stayed at the Macks' charming gite twice, in august 2010 and 2012. The beautiful grounds, a great location and the Macks' warmth and hospitality made our visits extremely enjoyable. The cottage is modern with all the appliances and amenities you could want, including wifi and a stand up shower. The property is private and safe -- there is a wall that goes around it and you enter via a gate. The location is great for exploring the region, though some of our favorite afternoons were spent relaxing on lounge chairs beneath the oak trees in the large garden. And it doesn't get much better than enjoying dinner outside under the pergola with tomatoes, eggplant and basil picked from the Macks' bountiful vegetable garden. Truly paradise in Provence.

“Great Family Location” Very charming Chalet located on great, fenced site with well cared garden full of flowers. Our small children (two < 4 years) loved to freely run around, use the playground and the trampolines. With the fenced swimming pool, the parents could keep cool and lazy when the kids had real good fun. Very nice landlord family that lives in the main building on the site. We really liked it and will definitely come back one day.

Fabulous 1 Bedroom Cottage with a "Zen" Pool, View of Luberon, WiFi
Les Oliviers, St Saturnin les apt, superb holiday!!

'Les Oliviers' was a fabulous place for a relaxing holiday retreat with spectacular views towards the Luberon hills, especially in the morning sun. The gite was very clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. The shower area was stylish and efficient. The chlorine-free pool was beautiful to swim in, we swam nearly every day even though we holidayed in October. The gite and gardens have a pleasant rural feel yet are only a short walk from the village. The village is very pretty with scenic walks to the cliff top chapel and has two excellent boulangeries and a general store. We dined at L'Estrade and had a fabulous meal. David and Karen were perfect hosts, being attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Their extensive local knowledge was invaluable when planning trips. We enjoyed meeting by the pool in the evening to watch the sun go down and share our stories of the day with our hosts, other guests and a glass of wine (or two..). We would certainly recommend 'Les Oliviers' to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Provence. … see more

Great hospitality in a lovely position

This was the first time we had stayed in Provence, and we loved it. The gite is perfectly located within easy walking distance of St Saturnin, a "non touristy" village with an excellent, friendly restaurant, and everything else we needed - two boulangeries, a small Spa shop, and several nice bars. The Tuesday market is not to be missed. David and Karen are the perfect hosts - friendly, welcoming and helpful, but never intrusive. The infinity pool is lovely, and we especially enjoyed the early evening drinks with David & Karen and the guests in the other gite. We have already re-booked for next year! … see more

La Grande Bergerie, small hamlet near Lourmarin
A beautiful house for the perfect holiday!

We have sadly just returned from a wonderful, unforgettable holiday at La Grande Bergerie,with four generations of family staying there! It is a gorgeous old house, beautifully decorated and furnished, with comfortable beds and linens, plus a kitchen to die for which has every conceivable item of equipment one could want! At the same time the house has a very warm, welcoming, relaxed feel that is so important on holiday. The garden is equally beautiful with so many amazing eating areas we had to take it in turns to use them all each evening! The pool is the perfect size and is kept wonderfully clean by the pool-man, plus there are bikes, table-tennis and boules! Puyvert is a lovely, quiet hamlet yet a half hour walk to Loumarin which has everything; a fantastic market on Fridays, lots of cafes, bars and restaurants all set in a very pretty village with a castle! The owner is very friendly and helpful, via e-mail, always happy to answer questions, and a lot of useful information is provided both on-line and at the house, with back-up from the concierge who lives locally and meets people on arrival. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!

This was our first trip to France. We attending a wedding in the village of Lourmarin and decided to stay in this house which is within walking distance of the village. First of all let me comment on the village. This village is so picturesque! It is the quintessential French village. Loaded with charming shops and cafes, you could spend days here and not see it all. There is a castle to explore, quaint streets too many to count, and lots of activity. We loved Lourmarin! Now the house. It was even better than we could have imagined!! It's beautiful inside and out. A fireplace, marble floors, balconies, roof top decks, large bedrooms, large bathrooms, modern, elegant and big! The views from the house are breathtaking. The house sits high up on a small mountain. There's a large pool and plenty of outdoor space. We had dinner outside by the pool most nights. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Honestly, it felt like we were staying at a 5 Star resort. Our host Jacqueline was great answering all of our emails with millions of questions. Before we arrived we probably sent her twenty emails. All were answered. She was extremely helpful. I can't express how happy we are with this house. It made our first trip to France a holiday we'll never forget.
