“Gorgeous! Looking forward to our next visit.” We stayed here for a week. It was a lovely place for us the stay. The kids had a wonderful time playing around the garden. It is a lovely garden with many paths leading here and there to traverse. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy the view or simply to take a casual stroll though and enjoy the serenity. So first the gardens are wonderful. The amount of work to maintain these is wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with Diana about different aspects of gardening. She gave us a tour all around and we all enjoyed that. The house is older and has lots of charm. The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The one is smaller and just seemed the right size for the little ones. All the bed were very comfortable and had lovely bedding, nice smooth sheets and down duvets. We were all very comfortable at night. The kitchen was great the stove and fridge worked well and there was lots of pots and pans for us to use. There is a BBQ and outdoor grill also available. Great for cooking crabs! The view from the property is breathtaking. Its been a couple weeks now and I still miss sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Such a lovely relaxing place to stay. We look forward to our next trip. Lastly the jewel of the Boxwood Cottage is Diana herself. She is right next door if you need any info but I never felt that she was intrusive. Very quickly I felt like we were visiting an old friend. She is very busy with the gardens and keeping up the property but was always willing to chat with us and even joke a little with the kids. Looking forward to going back again soon!

“Family beach trip” After over a year of social distancing and self-isolation our family decided to take a much needed break at the beach. Our criteria was a little daunting, 3 bedrooms, some ocean view, pet-friendly a decent kitchen and a hot tub. This place was that and more. There was plenty of space and activities including a great fire pit foosball, air hockey, barbecue and pool table. The yard was great for our dogs to run and play without worry of escape on our part. The house is quirky and dated but very clean and well supplied. The ocean view is good, a little distant but we were able to see and hear the waves which was great. The walk to the beach took about 15 minutes and we would recommend shoes not flip flops but the beach is great once you get there. The location feels very private but you are very close to a wide variety of amenities. Steve was very quick in responding to questions before and during our stay and when we couldn't find foosballs he was kind enough to bring some by (however for future renters, tilt the table towards the window and you may find some!) We would stay there again for sure.

“Well appointed house in nice development” We recently stayed here for a corporate team-building event (fishing trip). The kitchen is large and well appointed. The place is nicely decorated and clean. Would highly recommend for reunions or events like ours. We lacked nothing.

“Wow your place is such a restful spot” Jeannie, we can't thank you enough for hosting my wife and I recently at Beachwood Cottage. Your place was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect nest for us to relax in the sun, breath in the ocean-fresh air, observe the birds and wild life and pick fresh tasty vegetables from your garden for our salad. When we arrived it was clean and as described on the web-site. What a welcoming experience. “Gorgeous views, Family friendly, Pet friendly beach house” This was a wonderful place to spend the Christmas holiday at with extended family. Our tweens really enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Watching the tides come in and out and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets was lovely.

“Perfect Weekend Get-a-Way” This rustic off the grid cottage on Lasqueti Island was perfect for our family get-a-way weekend. Rob met us at the dock, drove us to the cottage (although it was only a 5 minute walk but much appreciated as we had some luggage), and then explained the cottage mechanics.
