“Perfect Weekend Get-a-Way” This rustic off the grid cottage on Lasqueti Island was perfect for our family get-a-way weekend. Rob met us at the dock, drove us to the cottage (although it was only a 5 minute walk but much appreciated as we had some luggage), and then explained the cottage mechanics. Josephine was attentive and helpful on the phone. Wonderful couple! Charming cottage! Excellent experience! Thank you.

“Wow your place is such a restful spot” Jeannie, we can't thank you enough for hosting my wife and I recently at Beachwood Cottage. Your place was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect nest for us to relax in the sun, breath in the ocean-fresh air, observe the birds and wild life and pick fresh tasty vegetables from your garden for our salad. When we arrived it was clean and as described on the web-site. What a welcoming experience. Living and dining spaces have gigantic picture windows with expansive views of Holmes Harbor and the mountains behind them. You can spend hours on the desk watching the tides coming and going, eagles being chased by ravens, or bask in the sun. It only takes a few steps to cross the lawn and you are on the beach, from which you can launch your boat, or collect sand dollars and shells. Oh, and before I forget: the house also comes with an extensive CD collection with selections from all genres-- and you can turn up the music and dance and sing to your heart's content. We had a soulful retreat at "Baby Beach" and left tons of good energy behind !

“Relaxation, comfort and all things to make you feel welcomed into this hidden oasis..” Perfect little get away from every day life. Where there are lots of stores and the market on Saturdays with local artisans, craft people. Along side fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables that are vibrant. Mount Maxwell has a stunning view with great trails and St, Mary's Lake is an incredible view. Coffee shops and restaurants with a beautiful harbour to walk around.. most enjoyable energy on this island.
