“A Little Taste of Heaven” This was our 8th trip to the Resort, and have stayed in this condo the last 5 years...What a wonderful place to stay and get some rest & relaxation. The resort is beautiful & there's always something to see & do if you wish. The condo is all you can possibly want - large & airy, well-furnished and a great kitchen! The views are spectacular and you feel as if you are the only ones there. The privacy of this unit is great - yet you're close to everything - firepit by the water, pool, hot tub, tennis courts, bbq patio and even a kiddie play area. During our month here we saw pods of whales, seals, otters, hummingbirds & lots of eagles from our balcony. We even went clamming @ low tide and had 3 feasts of crab caught off the end of the dock! What more could you ask for? This place is what we consider a little taste of heaven on the west coast, and after a month here, returning to ONtario makes us look forward to returning again next spring.

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “What a great spot” This is our 2nd year going to the inn at the sea and what a great unit. Iris is a great host. The unit has all the comforts of home and then some. We had great time with children it is tough to find the perfect spot but this is it. The pool is a great place to spend the day. Thank you Iris!

“What a great find!” My husband and I stayed here with our toddler and some extended family in an adjacent suite. Everybody had such an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Both suites were well-equipped and clean. The location was perfect - close to ocean, downtown and Cook Street Village. The host, Sarah, went above and beyond to help make our stay memorable. She was available to answer questions we had about touring around, was quick to replenish supplies when needed, and even allowed my daughter (who loves animals) play with her gentle dog who stays in the backyard. Overall, I couldn't recommend this more highly. You'll be happy with your choice to stay here.

“Nothing was too much trouble” A lovely apartment in a quiet spot but convenient for local shops, the airport and ferry, and 20 minutes drive from downtown Victoria. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Kirk and Gloria were lovely hosts and we felt confident that if there was anything we needed then nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family and seeing a few sights. It was nice to have a place where we could just come and go (own entrance) without any bother. Gloria kindly drove me to the airport to pick up my hire car - she just offered. Good for a family of 4. Bedrooms were a good size and the lounge had plenty of space. I'd happily stay there again.

“Beautifully appointed sea side serenity!” The beach house is absolutely beautiful! The B&B; suite retains much of it's original rustic charm with the large natual log columns and brick, then absolutely beautifully appointed modern decor to complete the warm welcome feel of this suite. Shelly will do nothing but spoil you while you stay in this little peace of west coast paradise. Take a stroll through the old school english style gardens and pathways in the rear of the Beach House. This is absolutely enchanting . . . and . . . if you look very very closely you may be one of the lucky ones to catch a glimpse of the fairies that live in the wood. If the suite and gardens aren't enough to relax your weary body then stroll across the street to Salish Sea Beach House's private little piece of the sea, for a stroll down the beach where Shelly hunts for "Sea Glass". I can't say enough about how absolutely beautiful this B&B; location is, how relaxing you will find it, and how wonderfully Shelly will take care of your needs.

“Comfort” The stay was overall very comfortable with the serenity of the island along with the comfort of a fully equipped house. From major things like the clean kitchen, bedrooms, patio to small things like poking rod next to the fire place, board games and balls next to the court were all very delighting. Enjoyed every bit of it and had a wonderful time in Orcas Island thanks to Cedar Field Vacation House. The only con was the complexity of the heating system to a person who hasn't used something like that before. It got toasty in the middle of the night as the settings automatically defaulted to a higher temperature after a particular time.

“Wow your place is such a restful spot” Jeannie, we can't thank you enough for hosting my wife and I recently at Beachwood Cottage. Your place was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect nest for us to relax in the sun, breath in the ocean-fresh air, observe the birds and wild life and pick fresh tasty vegetables from your garden for our salad. “The Perfect Getaway!” I cannot say enough about Ron and Judy O’Brien and their beautiful vacation suite. We just returned from spending 10 days in beautiful Victoria. The suite was so comfortable and had everything we could imagine. Ron and Judy met us when we arrived and familiarized us with our accommodations. They were more than happy to give us some tips on what to see and where to visit, they even suggested some local musical talent that we enjoyed very much. Thanks to both Ron and Judy, our visit was effortless. This was our first experience renting privately. “This property was fantastic!” My family of five adults recently (July 2012) stayed at this condo just steps from almost everything in downtown Victoria. The apartment is well appointed, and furnished with more daily necessities than many vacation rentals. It was also exceptionally clean. These observations and several conversations with the owners showed that they are clearly interested in the comfort and well-being of their guests. Having to carry or buy dish soap, bathroom tissue, and the like for a stay of a week or less , something we faced in other properties on our trip, is a real turn-off. Thanks again for everything. Our family enthusiastically recommends Heart of Victoria for visitors to that unique city.

“Wounderful stay” We stayed in Kitsilano's coach house in March. Thanks to Julia that made the place really comfortable. You can find any equipment you need to spend your holidays and live there. Will love to come back again.
