“Paradise” This was my 4th stay at suncamp. Property is very beautiful and I have always been treated very well by management and everybody else staying there. It is not a luxury or all-inclusive hotel but it is nice, clean, inexpensive, and overall great experience every time. Can't wait to return again this October!

“Better than expected” We loved our stay at Seawinds. The apartment was clean, spacious, exactly like the pictures, on a beautiful development and right at the deep-blue and turquoise ocean - the view is just breathtaking. The condo itself is well maintained and has all the appliances you need and more, nice big flatscreen TV and two great balconies with furniture. It was also very nice that things like suntan lotion and dishwasher detergent were available, so you don't have to buy all that stuff. There are plenty of plates, glasses, pots and pans, etc. The water heater broke during our stay, but it was quickly repaired the next day. We did have a couple of issues: 1) the water pressure is looow, it was so low that I couldn't get the jacuzzi to fill and I gave up after 45 minutes (pretty sure water pressure can't be fixed) 2) there was no manual in the apartment to explain how to use the WiFi (the password, that it works great on the balcony and the pool, but not in the bedroom), the TV, the water heater, etc., but we worked around that. The condo complex is also well maintained - there were people daily cleaning the pool, removing fallen leaves, etc. Loungers and chairs at the pool(s) are plenty and comfortable (there are 4 pools, but they're all really close together, so it feels more like one big pool). The water in the pools was a bit nippy, not something we would hang around in for hours. In fact, the ocean was warmer. There were hardly any other people, so if you like it nice and quiet, this is the place. The complex is about 20 minutes walk over the beach from most of the restaurants and we walked there every single night - very romantic in the moonlight! There are plenty of restaurants on the beach, from very simple to quite exquisite. Especially La Casita de Papi is worth mentioning. Activities also plenty (to participate or watch from the pool area) like horseback riding, kite boarding, windsurfing, etc. We would definitely recommend this place - you will not be disappointed.

“Wonderful time in Playa Dorada” We stayed in Playa Dorada for the month of March 2014 and we really enjoyed it. I have travel a lot and stayed in many different hotel and condos, but this was the best. What you see on the internet, is the absolute truth. Cindy is a very honest and caring owner. I did have a couple minor issues during my stay, but they were quickly handle after I contacted Cindy. The condo is fantastic with very nice and comfortable furnitures and TVs, and the kitchen is ultra modern. We also really appreciated the outdoor BBQ (a very big and nice BBQ). The San Marino complexe is very nice and secure. The swimming pool is big and clean and the beach is only a five minutes walk from the condo, and at the beach you have very nice chairs and umbrellas. The staff at San Marino is excellent, the laundry service is great and not expensive. The condo is only ten minutes to Puerto Plata by taxi where you have the Las Sirenas store which is just like a WalMart (this is where we when for grocery shopping) they also have a Domino's Pizza. I visited the old San Felipe Fort, I went to the top of the mountain in the teleferic and had a really great time visiting many places around Puerto Plata. The only thing missing as far as I am concern, is something like a seven eleven in the plaza in the front of the condo. They have many things, but not your basic like bread, cold meat, butter and eggs. Beside that, they have many things. With all the condos being built around Playa Dorada, maybe someone will invest in a seven eleven or something like that. Beside that, everything was excellent, and God willing, I will go back next year.

“Perfect For a Family. Best Owner Hospitality! Great for Cooking” Newly renovated. We have 3 teenagers who need their own space. Everyone had their own beds and we had the entire penthouse suite to ourselves! Kitchen was beautiful and functional. Everything you need. Since it's a penthouse there is a large balcony facing out (with trees). Every day we ate all our meals, read books and at night played games out there. Weather is nice even in the evening or in the rain. Never used the inside table for eating. Since the bathrooms' sink separate; it's multi-user without waiting. This property was quiet and safe. We travel a lot and felt a lot more safe here than Mexico; travelling with teens... Cindy was the best owner I have ever encountered and we rent often. With Wi-Fi at the center of the complex, free messaging worked great. She provided so much information and help. Since she speaks 2 languages, she would call the front desk and arrange anything. I have a bad medical condition and since our King bed was hurting bad, she had a bed topper shipped immediately at her expense! So now vacationers have 2 choices. Since 1/2 her family is local, she arranged many trustworthy excursions from her U.S. home. She arranged a great driver at reasonable cost in a superbly clean Honda van (we are too big for a car). Believe me, after a few other taxi rides, he's a safer driver and spoke decent English for local info. The beach was pristine and not too busy. We walked a long way on both sides and this is the most protected from winds, less busy and with an open restaurant/ bar right there. Also since many locals own in this resort, not too many venders bother this area! Are the pictures accurate? No. It's actually nicer than it shows. Really! Proximity to everything is nice. Short taxi rides to a Walmart type supermarket and a lot of attractions. Taxis at the gate hose you. Use Cindy or recommendations from other owners in the resort for transport. Cindy also gave us a valuable restaurant list. She is very organized. Great 14 day vacation!

“A lovely time in DR” The Villa was great.... three bedrooms that satisfied the other two couples that were with us. I wish that the fan worked in the kitchen as it did get a little hot when doing some cooking. I would suggest that anyone renting the villa do take some mosquito repellent with them. The pool is great but wish it were heated as the weather was not warm enough to heat it. The ocean that is close by is great but the waves were pretty heavy. I loved the patio and we spent many hours out there enjoying the weather (when it wasn't raining). All in all, I would recommend the villa and Daniel is a wonderful host who is very helpful in the ways of existing in the DR.

“Greatest kitesurfing vacation ever!” Contacting, booking and follow-up with Sonja, the property manager, was easy and smooth. Airport a 20 min taxi drive to apartment complex, and is 40$US. Sonja can arrange just ask her. The facility is clean, wonderful and approx. 2000 sq ft with 3 bedrooms 3 full baths. Clean kitchen and easy to cook at. Cleaning crew comes every other day. Nothing stolen from apt and I kept all my money and passport out on my night table. They do provide a safe in the bedroom but I guess I took my chances and didnt need it. Security is tight, requiring specific passes to get in and out of the apartment property grounds. Easy to get to the beach for kitesurfing and is about a 2 minute walk... if that. Not a problem to carry your boards, kites and extra gear to the beach to start your incredible session. Wind was approximately 16-26 knots from 12:30-7:30 pm. Kite house is in front of facility on beach so very close again possibly 2 min 30 seconds from apartment. Pool available is clean and awesome for night swim after kiting.. 30 second walk from room. Restaurants are an 8 minute walk on the beach... so awesome and beautiful. Strip of restaurants ranging from 5$ to 20$ per plate. Food amazing there and safe to walk to. This is 5/5 star apartment and apartment complex that really feels like being at home. Cable TV great with many channels. Internet/WIFI access, is good. Comfortable, large, convenient, easy kite access, clean.... outstanding! I have recommended to many friends... and some of them are already contacting the owner to book. Do not hesitate to stay at this location if you kitesurf... you will not regret.

“Perfect family holiday!!!” This was our 4th year in Harmony apt 211 with our 4 children (7,5,3 and 1). It really is the perfect location with all amenities one could ask for. The condo is well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated, the location is prime, far enough away from town to not have the noise but close enough to stroll in for dinner or ice-creams in safety. My husband and I are keen Kitesurfers and we had the time to be both parents and kiters!! We look forward to next year already!

“one of the safest and well kept condos in caberete” i got to stay one month besides a few problems with a water tank there was nothing else wrong,nicely decorated and fully furnished.the place is clean and the community inside the condominiums is a relaxing and laid back atmosphere.with beach front access ,swimming pool and area to bbq anytime ,its a home away from home.i give it 5 stars for staff are the best with 24hr gaurds who carry guns ,a safe in room and well maintained property.i recommend a stay for some times in dominican you rent and you just wish you hadent but at orrilla del mar you always in good hands help is always there,management is awsome and you never have any worries on theft of loss of property.you do need a car or bike to get to the attractions in the town ,around 15blocks .the super market janets is close with cheap steaks and chicken and the town its self is safe..people are friendly and if you have no car there are always moto cabs which is motorcyles to drive you anytime hundreds of them ,and affordable.

“Our excellent Dominican Vacation” Our family just spent a wonderful and relaxing week at the Villa. What's not to like? The house is roomy (4 bedrooms), spotlessly clean, well maintained, decorated beautifully in warm tropical colors and with authentic Dominican artwork, and best of all it sits right on the ocean in a gated community an easy drive from the Puerto Plata airport. The ocean view from the very private backyard is fantastic. A two minute walk brings you to a drop dead gorgeous crescent-shaped beach with calm shallow waters. Golf course and health club are right down the street. Any number of exceptional restaurants are a short drive away. Heartily recommend!

“Loads of character, awe inspiring setting and view, relaxing vac” We found the condo to have tons of character. The unit is exactly as described. The character and décor/furnishings/bedding/etc. were as expected for a Caribbean country. The water pressure is very low and the unit could use new linens, however, we did not visit for these things and so were fine with it. The driving is quite dangerous and I would not recommend it. I suggest using taxi's. Very quiet here, the pool and beach were mostly to ourselves the entire time. The restaurant offered quality food with a varied menu and daily specials. We found it to be a little pricey, however we were told this was average for the area. The beach is to die for, however it is not for swimming! the undertow is also very dangerous. Our party had one close call and another condo renter had a party of 3 unable to return to shore. They were rescued by some surfers who happened to be in the area. We saw wales blow and wave from the beach in front of the condo! Wonderful, quiet, revitalizing time.

“An experience not to be missed” Words can't describe my stay at La Casita Linda. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I felt like I was living in the lap of luxury. The villa has all the amenities for enjoying a wonderful relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. There's nothing like enjoying meals on the terrace by the pool. The area is secure and conducive to nice strolls around the neighborhood and to the beach areas and beach club with outstanding views from the restaurant/bar. The location is also convenient for visiting the public beaches and nearby towns of Sosua and Cabarete. What would I do differently for my next visit to La Casita Linda? I'd share this delightful experience with a group of friends or family.
