“Amazing place with helpful and accommodating host” We came to antonio's penthouse for a conference, and to enjoy the remaining days in Madrid. It was wonderful! So close to 2 main subway that takes you directly to the city center, so near the conference site and a supermarket just across the streets, all in less than 5 minutes walking. It is situated in a business area, but there are so many nice pubs, cheap but decent restaurants, gardens and parks close by. The penthouse itself was amazing! It was just perfect! the bar kitchen, living room set, the bedrooms, with a great view from the roof of the whole district! Watching the sunset and rise in the morning, is always our favorite leisure time activity. The house was decorated with its appliances in such a way, that you really feel at home, and welcome. It shows how much effort antonio put in every detail to create such a great ambiance for the guest. I definitely recommend him, for business, travelling, or just a place to relax and enjoy madrid just like a pure local! Antonio is definitely the perfect host for you!

“Truly modern and elegant apartment in a quiet, upscale, safe nei” This apartment was a treat. It had everything we could possibly desire for our 5 days in Madrid. It is located in central Madrid, near restaurants, shops, a paseo, and the metro. It is in a small, elegant apartment with an elevator. It has fast Wi-Fi at no extra charge. The owner was wonderful and helpful. We really enjoyed talking to him, learning more about Spain and Madrid. He had helpful suggestions and even made restaurant reservations for us as well as securing a taxi for our very early ride to the airport. The apartment is light, airy and spacious. Both the building and the apartment were very clean. The living room has a sofa bed, chairs, TV and many CDs. The kitchen is equipped with a stove-top, oven, large refrigerator, microwave, utensils and cooking necessities such as spices, olive oil, vinegar, and lots of dishes, glassware, napkins, etc. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed as well as closet space, dresser and extra drawers. The master bath has a shower. The second bedroom has a loft bed, a single futon, and a desk and chair. The second bathroom has a tub and a washing machine. There were extra towels, sheets, and blankets. The apartment is beautifully decorated with interesting art and modern furniture. We felt very comfortable entertaining an old friend in this lovely apartment. We even took photos of the art and furniture as it was so wonderful. We loved our 5-day stay in this apartment. If we return to Madrid, we would definitely stay in this apartment again. We really loved everything about this apartment and would not change a thing.

“Delightful apartment stay in Madrid!” Everything surpassed our expectations. Clearly, the owner is very interested in making sure her guests enjoy the apartment and Madrid itself. The apartment is beautifully appointed and abundantly stocked with everything one might need, including kitchen items, Dvds, CDs, numerous up-to-date guidebooks, even a small medicine chest. The owner's caretakers responded to our every need. Also, Lavapies is a fantastic neighborhood, far enough from the madding tourist crowd, but an easy walk to places like the Rena Sofia, Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor. We've stayed in other apartments in Madrid and can't say enough good things about this one. We'll definitely be back!
