“Our First Maui Vacation” My girlfriend and I have used Vrbo before, for properties in Europe and have never had an issue. Jill and Terry did not disappoint! The Honua Kai property and more specifically the unit we stayed in owned by Jill and Terry was absolutely incredible! I think it's rated as 4 stars, but clearly it was closer to 5 stars in our opinion. The description and photos on the unit were quite accurate. Jill was amazing with customer service and always helped us when needed. The amount of local information made available to us in the form of a very big binder or two in their condo was awesome. The condo unit was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We highly recommend a visit to Honolua Bay to go snorkling. It's only about a 15 minutes drive from the property, and worth the visit! It's a rocky beach, so leave the beach chairs at home and just take towels and snorkel equipment with you. Also, if you're a foodie, check out Roy's, about 5 miles south of Honua Kai. As well, Duke's is on the Honua Kai resort property and it's an awesome restaurant for drinks, lunch and dinner-highly recommend both Dukes and Roy's. We also went to the Old Lahaina Luau one night, and boy it was just amazing! Great entertainment and food. We would recommend this property to anyone, and have already done so with our friends.

“Sunset Maui 313A unit” HD TV's should be included along with option to upgrade TV package to include movie packages. More reliable high speed secure internet access. “Wonderful!” Our condo, 412B, at Maui Sunset was completely updated and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. Units at this complex can vary depending on who you are renting from. We were very happy with this unit rented from Kumulani, and would definitely do so again. The Kumulani staff was terrific!

“Last minute gem was amazing” We tried to find places for about 2 weeks and every island had no reservations available. We went through flipkey one last desperate time and I got an email about a unit that had a cancellation. We jump on it not really knowing what we were getting in return. The unit was affordable compared to what others were charging by hundreds of dollars. We stayed in 409b. The view of the ocean was jaw dropping. The place had a great patio over looking impeccably kept grounds. Having a washer and dryer in the unit saved our butts! Everything anyone could need was all in the condo. We were conveniently located in Kehei and the trip couldn't of been more wonderful. Wendi was a great resource for us and we would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a great trip to Maui!

“Wailea Ekahi 48C” This condo is a bit dated. The bed was very comfortable. The showers weren't working well. Wailea Ekahi is a gorgeous setting. This unit is up the hill, a little walk from the beach and main pool. Wifi worked well which was key for me since this was a working vacation.

“Maui Sunset A wonderful place for family & friends” We've been staying at the Maui Sunset since the late 80's. First were our parents,then us, now our children and soon their little ones. “Nice property, unit 105a could use some updates” The grounds of the Maui Sunset are very nice and well maintained. The pool is good but very "rules oriented" (i.e. can't horseplay with your children). Unit 105A had all needed amenities but could definitely use some renovations and upgrades (still has a VHS player!). Carpet must be replaced, sofabed matress was AWFUL and the main bed was quite uncomfortable. Did like the A/C and ceiling fans.

“Fine condo” Condo was clean and tidy. Nice location, no elevator noise. However, the 2001 mattress was very uncomfortable. Had to buy a topper pad to try to improve our sleep.

“We'll be back (said in my best Schwarzenegger voice)” Our 10 days at the Maui Sunset were amazing. Beautiful grounds, great for the kids, just open the door and go. We will definitely stay at the Maui Sunset again. That being said, this particular unit could use just a little tlc. A few updates on fixtures (faucets in particular). Also, we travelled with 3 other families and the other 3 units offered beach accesorries, ie; chairs, boogie boards, large cooler, etc. Our unit did not offer any of these items. We found out that it is up to the individual owners what the guests have access to. By no means am I complaining, those items just would have been nice. In closing, I highly reccommend the Maui Sunset and this particular unit. The Robinson's

“Comfortable and quiet condo” Maui Sunset is a very well maintained property. This unit is comfortable and well supplied with amenities, but has not been updated like others in the complex. I was there for an extended stay, and management was excellent (Wendy).
