“Location, Location, Location!” The condo is just a short walk to the beach which we enjoyed daily. It's close to many great restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. We caught the bus right outside the door for travel to all of our sightseeing destinations. With a grocery store just a few blocks away we had easy access to the things we needed to prepare most of our meals in the kitchen. We loved having breakfast and coffee out on the lanai each morning looking out at the ocean view. The condo was clean and comfortable. The manager was quick to respond. We look forward to going back!

“Beautiful, clean, spacious condo with amazing views and location” My husband and I stayed in this condo with our 2 boys as well as his parents. We found that we had lots of room for all of us. The unobstructed views from the 2 lanais were absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was well stocked and we had more than enough towels and linens. ( bring your own beach towel though or buy some for a souvenir) Our boys enjoyed using the snorkelling gear. The double beds were a touch hard for my tastes but comfortable enough. The location was perfect for us. The beach was within easy walking distance and we enjoyed swimming in the lagoon as well. I would absolutely recommend this condo, we would love to return! Thank you Dainora for a wonderful stay and ease of rental.

“Great spot for a relaxing vacation.” This is our second visit to #307. We spent four weeks relaxing and unwinding. Jim and Sue made sure everything was perfect and kept in touch as the islands were in the path of Hurricanes Iselle and Julio, which fortunately didn't affect us at Kahana. We look forward to our next visit to Maui.

“Perfect little hide away” Janet was super accommodating during our stay. The access to bikes, snorkel gear and an outdoor hose off was great! We rented scooters and found the location to be perfect for both the White Sands Beach and the snorkeling beach. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for letting us have a late check out too! Saved us the hassle of sweating in the heat waiting for our shuttle!

“Good rental in the hart of Kona” Well equiped kondo, very clean and perfect located in the hart of Kona. Biggest disadvantage is the small kitchen. The pool is nice and the whirlpool great! Parking can be a problem when you arrive back from a trip after 5pm.

“Maui memories” We were excited to be coming back back to Makena Surf after staying there two years ago and being so impressed with the unit and the beautiful surroundings back then. We were somewhat fearful that we could even come close to matching that same experience this time around, but this unit exceeded our expectations. We will be back in the near future.

“A Beautiful Unit” This unit has everything that a family of 4 needs to have a great vacation. Our boys loved the short walk to the ocean but were a little disappointed that there were no rackets for the paddle tennis court. The housekeepers were very helpful and security was very professional. We would be happy to rent this unit again.

“Sugar Beach” Just returned from a week stay in Maui and enjoyed our stay at this Condo. Upstairs unit with beautiful view of the ocean from the Kitchen, Living Room and Lanai. The until was well equipped with most of the comforts of home. Our only complaint would be that a few minor items needed repair (would have been nice if the screen on the front door would have been repaired during our stay) and the carpets were in need of cleaning. Nice grounds around this two story complex and a nice long beach footsteps from your door. Located on the quite north end of Kihei on Sugar Beach.

“Great location!” We really enjoyed our stay at Elua Village 1305. The proximity to the beach was outstanding as was the sunsets each and every night. Three beds and baths with 6 people make life very comfortable. The unit could use some updates such as a new dishwasher, but all in all things were good. The only complaints I had were we rented the unit assuming twin beds in rooms 2 and 3 and one had a queen which put a person on a roll away and the over powering security. The security was over the top in that it literally pursued people. A father and 5 year old playing catch with a nerf were told not to as were several others. When I questioned them I was told they "pursue" this conduct. Why have a nice grass area if people get kicked off. Sorry but Al and co need to hang lose on things. All in all a very nice place.

“wonderful property, alii people very friendly and helpful” Was able to check in at 1:00 PM which was very helpful. The personnel from alii were, as usual very friendly and helpful. Condo comfortable and clean. Two bathrooms a good feature. Second year in this condo and reserved for next year.

“The view was fabulous, and we had a great time!” This was our third year at Kamaole Nalu but our first in #606. It is a very nice unit. We enjoyed the updated kitchen as we cooked in quite a bit. We recommended Kamaole Nalu to our daughter. Consequently, she and her family and our niece and her husband are staying in #606 at the end of June. It was a pleasant surprise to receive the very nice gift bag this year. We really enjoyed the treats. One of the best things about staying at Kamaole Nalu is Pat, the manager. “Exquisite view, lovely appointments, needs new bed!” The good news: we only left this beautiful condo to jump into the water (in the ocean or the lovely pool), to go to yoga or for jogs, to get supplies or go out to eat! The view is stunning, the lanai couldn't be any closer to the water, has comfortable patio furniture and you have all the comforts of home. The kitchen and bathrooms are luxuriously appointed. After a slight confusion when we landed at the Kahului airport, we were even able to check in early on our arrival day. The only bad news, and the reason we couldn't give it five stars is the mattress in the master bedroom needs replacing. There are two huge, deep divots in the too-soft, too worn mattress. I hope that will be replaced soon, because when we come back to Makena Surf, we will definitely stay here. We've stayed in two other condos on the property, and this was the best!
